Post-war course of Lidice - reverent memories and life in new Lidice

The author deals with some specific problems of the post-war development of Lidice between 1945 and 1989. The diplomante ponders upon the questions of memory on Lidice, Lidice memory and Lidice as a place of memoir. In her introduction, based on numerous talks with the Lidice narrators, the author tries to find out what kind of memory place Lidice is and who it may concern. The follow-up chapters reflect the worldwide reception of Lidice tragedy; moreover, they feature some talks with the women named Lidice after the village. Next thematic part is focused on the actual construction of the village as well as on two organizations that were in charge of the whole building process: Society for Lidice Reconstruction on one hand and British movement "Lidice Shall Live" on the other hand. Author also introduces the movement founder Barnett Stross. Further chapters describe a typical course of that time reverent memories in Lidice using some articles from Rude Pravo and showing the way how Lidice was misused by the communist regime to serve as a propaganda of socialism. The memories of the narrators, acquired and processed through an oral history method, the archive sources of both the State District Archive in Kladno and the National Archive in London in particular, became a source base of the author. POST-WAR DEVELOPMENT AND DAILY LIFE IN LIDICE (memories of Lidice residents of reverent memorials and a life in the village) Author deals with post-war development of Lidice since 1945 to 1989 with certain enjambment to years to come.Thesis tries to show, which way Lidice were exploited by communist regime to socialism propaganda and how it reflected in lives of Lidice residents. Author describes and assesses construction of new village together tied up with cooperating organizations, particularly Society for Lidice reconstruction a British movement Lidice Shall Live founded by Sir Barnett Stross. Author concetrates on Barnett Stross more closely concerning the fact author has contacted his family in Great Britain, where she has obtained memories on founder of new Lidice. Secondly, diplomate concentrates on life in new Lidice and perception of reverent memories and life of Lidice residents. Financing of sports industry in Czech Republic

The work deals with the history and development models in European financing for professional sport, the characteristics of models and variations in the Czech Republic. Resolves issue of different types of income and their different impact on taxation revenue structure of the companies active in sport, especially ice hockey and football, and different assessments of economic indicators from other businesses as well as displaying different items in the accounts. It also focuses on changes in financing in connection with developments around the lottery company Sazka. The aim is to quantify the importance of sponsorship and advertising use in sport funding and show a concrete example of the hockey club HC Slavia Praha.

The posibilities of new use of the industrial heritage in the region of Kladno

The work is focused on the industrial heritage of the region of Kladno. It describes the history of Kladno and the creation and development of industry in the region. One part of the work is devoted to several selected industrial objects, their history and current use. The main part focuses on the industrial area called Kladno-east, it analyzes the property rights that prevail in the area and also the environmental burdens and possibilities of their removal. The last chapter is about the possibilities of new use of the industrial area Kladno-east, looking for an inspiration in objects of the industrial architecture that have been already revitalized in our country and also abroad.

Kladno hockey history since the early seventies to the year two thousand

Goal of work: To map the important events and historic moments and milestones include them in the context of the Kladno hockey history since the early seventies of the twentieth century to the year two thousand. Method: Analysis of documents, case studies, macroanalysis, structural analysis Results: The collected data show that during its existence Kladno became a hockey town, won the championship six times first league in Czechoslovakia. Kladno was able to bring countless hockey talents and personalities who wrote and will write the history of hockey not only positively but also in the world. Title: The effect of migration players in the quality of the 1st Czech soccer league Objectives: This diploma paper would like to answer question how migration of soccer players affects the quality of 1st Czech soccer leauge as well as general development in Czech soccer leauge. In the theoretical part, there are statistical data of each time period in the history of Czech soccer, focusing on results of individuals, clubs and representation. The stages were then compared with each other. In the empirical part, by using questionnaire research method was identified how migration affects and may further affect the quality of Czech soccer in the present. The result part is based on comparision of the two previous sections. After verification of these theses there have been proposed a few points which may lead to move efficient use of migration and the following improvement of 1st Czech soccer league. TITLE The summary of world championships in football THE AIM OF THE THESIS The aim of the thesis was to describle the main events of all so far played championships in football, the atmospfere of these periods and to refer that football goes beyond the frame of sports happening. Consequently, I focus on earmarking the leaders ' category of the world championships from these matches. METHOD As my thesis has qualative coverage, there fore I used qualative research. It is concerned with a descriptive analysis, which provides us with a detailed information from the surrounding. This information was extracted from document files. RESULTS My work is a well- arranged study of all world championships in football taken place from 1930 to 2006. It includes events and history of these championships, moreover defines categories of the best representations, the main favourites and games page of all championschips. Possibilities of logopedic intersention in geriatric medical institution

The topic of the thesis deals with the issue of the people after cerebrovascular events and their subsequent rehabilitation. Introduction of the theoretical part is devoted to the definition of age in terms of physiology and psychology. The starting point for a theoretical treatment of the subject is the concept of comprehensive care for people after cerebrovascular events. On the basis of theoretical texts, this part focuses on the most common types of communication disorders in people with neurological disease, especially on aphasia, dysarthria, dysphagia, and cognitive communication disorders. I focused the practical part on the case histories of two patiens at Geriatric and rehabilitation center in Kladno, where I had watched their three-month stay. I gave the greatest attention primarily on speech therapy, but I also focused on other provided care. This section also includes a rating scale of the availability and level of speech intervention. The results of this work is evaluation of speech therapy, physiotherapy and ergotherapeutic activities in a rehabilitation facility. The information should help to consider the need for high quality and comprehensive care for people after cerebrovascular events.

Changes in gastronomical behaviour of miners in Kladensko (with focus on Vinarice village)

Kladno region as a well-known industrial area (black coal mines, steelworks, etc.) started to grow in the second half of the 19th century. Following the industrial development of this area, there was a great professional imigration (from the whole Czech region). As a result of this imigration, social habits of the original inhabitants of the agricultural Kladno and those of the newcomers started to mix and a new specific Kladno "worker's" culture started to form. It changed many times, particularly within the context of economic and political development, however its roots originate in the 19th century. Kladno miners' culture experienced one of essential changes after 1990 when the whole region went through a social transformation resulting from the alterations in the industrial sphere. The steel production (POLDI) and mainly the coal mine production declined during the nineties (the last coal mine was closed in 2002). These changes showed in everyday lives of the people in the area. They distinctively affected the people involved in these changes, namely the people employed in Kladno businesses (the majority of whom lost their jobs and who in comparison with the period before 1990 lost their social status).
