The goal of this master´s thesis is to perform an evaluation of the company Jihoměstská sociální a.s. on the date of evaluation of December 31st, 2015, for the purpose of a possible sale to a private company. The thesis consists of two parts: theoretical part and practical part. The theoretical part describes process and methods, which are applied in the practical part. The practical part contains an analysis of previous company´s results and forecast of the future by 2020. Next comes the valuation of Jihoměstská sociální. The conclusion discusses possibilities of sale.

The Evolution of the Global Microchip Market

This thesis aims to explain the evolution and transformation of the microchip industry. It focuses on the changes and prediction of the future state including its causes and consequences. The analysis starts on the general description of the market and continues through its subjects ending on relationships between them. This serves as a source of information to the prediction in the final part of the thesis. In the beginning the products, which are taken into consideration in this work (namely CPUs, GPUs and APUs), are described. Following this, there is an analysis of the competition environment that defines a structure of the market upon which further work is based. (Three levels; the manufacturer of photolithographic machines, makers of the chips and their designers and OEM and aftermarket subjects.) The penultimate part defines the barriers to entry to this market and three categories are drawn up: economic, technical and geoeconomic, which are applied to every level of the market. Thus all prerequisites to a successful prediction are satisfied. In the last part of the thesis the prognosis is made and defined, along with its assumptions and limitations. In the concluding part of this work the consequences and results are summarized.

Hooligan as an object of film analysis

Final thesis reflects the preproduction and production of thesis film with the topic of radical football fans. Work defines the theme of violence in the world of rowdies and film work with them. Further analyzes not only the history of football fans, but their categorization in terms of sociology and their impact on contemporary society. Work is devoted to the history of Czech cinema, working with the motif of the football world. The reasoning at the conclusion of the thesis reflects the impact of the films on this topic at the general audience and selected subculture.

Corporate identity of cultural institutions

This thesis researches relationship between corporate identity and cultural environment. It explains and analyses key subjects such as graphic design, corporate image, corporate culture, corporate communication, corporate product, target group, symbol, brand, vision, mission etc. It is divided into three parts – first part contains definitions, second part contains analysis of two key studies – Na zábradlí Theatre and Josef Kajetán Tyl Theatre and then there’s third part, which merges the previous (theoretical and practical) into one, which should outline process of creating own brand identity. The last part is focused mostly on handling with corporate design. The thesis emphasizes necessity and reason of professional marketing approach to achieve rising brand equity and stable growth of any cultural corporation.

Pantomime and dance in the interwar period

This thesis deals with the status of pantomime and dance in the period
between the wars. It examines the connection between the two genres.
First it explains the basic concepts such as: pantomime, expressive dance
and the interwar period. After that it is exploring the status of these art
genres in Czechoslovakia. Furthermore it outlines several important
personalities of the dance art which influenced the pantomime and the
mimic theater with their actions.
At the end, the work focuses on the importance of the dance for the mimic
theater artists and it also examines the impact of an avant-garde art on the
contemporary artistic creation.

The Literary Works of G. Angiolini and J.-G. Noverre in the context of the 18th century

This dissertation offers a commented translation into Czech language of works written by two most important choreographers of the 18th century, Italian Gasparo Angiolini and French Jean-Georges Noverre. It is a selection of their most important texts where they develop an inovative aesthetics of the dramatic ballet – ballet en action. An introductory chapter about theatre aesthetics of the first half of the 18th century is included in the beginning of the work where I summarize the most important discussions of the period and topics that inspired the choreographers to their reform in the art of dance. Futhermore, a chapter refering to the sources for this work is attached to each commented translation.

THE BACCHAE, FAUST AND LADYBIRDS

This bachelor thesis focuses on themes like the collapse of the myth of God, crisis of faith and seeking God, as well as on way to stage them in a theatrical performance. The first part of this work tries to depict changes in a relationship between a man and God and their mutual combat. The chapter dealing with the cult of Dionysus shows a clash of the two fanaticisms; the religious and the rational one. The Faust chapter is concerned with the idea of free decision making and the difficulties and the possibility of a personal crisis this freedom might cause. The final chapter The Ladybirds opens the problematic of suffering of the innocent, which is the most common objection against the existence of God. The practical part of this work reflects on the school projects and the process of making. It also asks whether it is possible to stage themes like faith in one of the most atheistic nations in the world.

Family housing decision-making

This thesis is concerned with choosing the best and most real estate mortgage loans for family with children. The family should be chosen property near his residence momentary, then it should be recommended for this property the best mortgage loan. Selecting the property was affected by the demands of all family members and subsequent mortgage loans was selected from the products offered on the Czech market in November 2016. The thesis can be thematically divided into three main parts. The first part includes a literature search, which is divided into two areas. First described methods of multi-criteria decision making, which will be used in the decision making process. Along with these methods includes a literature review and theoretical part of the program area Super Decisions, which will be used in the practical part. Furthermore, theoretically they recognized concepts related to mortgage loans, according to which are then laid down criteria for assessing mortgage loans. The second part contains already a practical perspective on family issues, which therefore includes the selection of the best and most real estate mortgage loan program with the help of Super Decisions. The third part includes a summary of the work and the interpretation of results obtained through the program Super Decisions.

Effect of snowpack on runoff generation during rain on snow event.

During a winter season, when snow covers the watershed, the frequency of rain-on-snow (ROS) events is still raising. ROS can cause severe natural hazards like floods or wet avalanches. Prediction of ROS effects is linked to better understanding of snowpack runoff dynamics and its composition. Deploying rainfall simulation together with hydrological tracers was tested as a convenient tool for this purpose. Overall 18 sprinkling experiments were conducted on snow featuring different initial conditions in mountainous regions over middle and western Europe.
Dye tracer brilliant blue (FCF) was used for flow regime determination, because it enables to visualise preferential paths and layers interface. Snowpack runoff composition was assessed by hydrograph separation method, which provided appropriate results with acceptable uncertainty. It was not possible to use concurrently these two techniques because of technical reasons, however it would extend our gained knowledge. Snowmelt water amount in the snowpack runoff was estimated by energy balance (EB) equation, which is very efficient but quality inputs demanding. This was also the reason, why EB was deployed within only single experiment.
Timing of snowpack runoff onset decrease mainly with the rain intensity. Initial snowpack properties like bulk density or wetness are less important for time of runoff generation compared to the rain intensity. On the other het when same rain intensity was applied, non-ripe snowpack featuring less bulk density created runoff faster than the ripe snowpack featuring higher bulk density. Snowpack runoff magnitude mainly depends on the snowpack initial saturation. Ripe snowpack with higher saturation enabled to generate higher cumulative runoff where contributed by max 50 %. In contrary, rainwater travelled through the non-ripe snowpack relatively fast and contributed runoff by approx. 80 %.
Runoff prediction was tested by deploying Richards equation included in SNOWPACK model. The model was modified using a dual-domain approach to better simulate snowpack runoff under preferential flow conditions. Presented approach demonstrated an improvement in all simulated aspects compared to the more traditional method when only matrix flow is considered.
