Automated business systems in Forex

The thesis characterize the international foreign exchange market Forex and systems used in the market for capital appreciation. In the first part is discussed why this market is so specific and how is trade. After that gradually resolves the issue of automated trading systems. The target is to declare important facts for creating the system. Of those, then practical part obtains data, where develops automated trading system step by step from the outset. The main target is to develop a system that can make a profit in real terms. All procedures are used as are used in practice. It is focused on creating landing rules, analysis, optimization, programming and special testing. The results then indicate the quality of the whole system. When the results are adequate, the system is trading in real terms and in real time. On this part already connected final part, and it is evaluate the results. Based on the success or failure are suggested additional recommendations for further utilization of the created system.

Mechatronics design of furniture dowels producing machine

This work deals with the suggestion of self-operating machine for the manufacture of furniture pins from the cylindrical pin blanks. The paper analyzed the possibility of production automation of furniture pins, which has been based on long experience with their production. Subsequently, there was suggested a design of machine using V-cycle methodology. In this proposition was gradually developed the machine construction and its management. Construction of this machine presented by 3D CAD model is connected to the development environment NI LabVIEW. Operating of the machine was designed and verified through co-simulation. The machine proposition was achieved trough successive iterations of development which meets the requirements. In the conclusion of this project was done analysis of choice suitable management system for the real machine.

Importance of local entrepreneurship in the field of sport and culture for regional development

My Bachelor´s thesis tackles the problematics of regional development. In the first chapters of my thesis, there are definitions of terms which are closely linked to the problematics. The chapters include terms such as regional policy, regional development and the development of the country which are mainly aimed at improving the citizens´ quality of life which is tightly connected to the development of social togetherness. Social togetherness enables the growth of social and political stability. In the following chapters you find legislative modification concerning regional policy, the method of community and country development and a detailed analysis of culture and sport as factors affecting the region´s growth. The practical part of my thesis analyses the situation in Ruda nad Moravou, specifically, its swimming area which is very important for the community as well as the region. The aim of my work is the characteristics of the business activities mainly in the sports area, its legal and economic problems and also its regional impact. The method of description and the method of quantitative analysis in the form of questionnaire field study are used in the practical part of the thesis. The aim of the methods is to gain enough information on individual drawbacks and problems linked with both the region and the swimming area mentioned above. A suitable solution will be suggested after detecting the problems. The solution should make the swimming area more profitable which will contribute to the development of the whole region.

Operating cost of family houses

This master thesis determines and compares operating costs (energy balance) of family houses, depending on their age and during their life cycle. The basic terms, heat-technical properties and technological procedures of improving heat-technical properties are defined in the first part of the thesis. In the practical part, the operating costs of three older houses are determined. Variants of building modifications to improve heat-technical properties are suggested and evaluated. Certificates of energy performance were determined and the values compared, for both the current state of the houses and for the state after the improvement heat-technical properties. The thesis includes calculation of building modifications costs and the payback period of the investment.

Preparation and Management of the Building Order

This thesis focuses on the theme of preparation and management of construction work contract in its theoretical and empirical level. Theoretical part deals with the description of contractor’s preparation for construction in the form of supply, pre-production and production preparation. It also deals with the issues of planning in the form of structuring of a building project and its duration, including the description of schedule planning methods. Theoretical part ends with a passage about automated preparation and construction implementation, together with a definition of basic terms concerning private and public procurement. Practical part answers the question of description, analysis and organization of particular construction contract and together with contractor’s administrative treatment of construction preparation meets the appointed target. Closing part consists of a suggestion of methodology for processing contractor’s preparation using Contec software.

Remuneration of employees for their work

The main topic of this thesis is a summary of legal issues relating to employees remuneration system in the Czech Republic. The thesis is based on data collecting and gathering information from specialized publications, internet sources and legal regulations concerned with this topic. In the theoretical part special terms related to labor law are characterized, relation between an employer and an employee from the commencement into employment, employment contract, progress, motivation, employee evaluation, such as paying a wage or a salary. All this information is arranged in order to provide the most complete and comprehensible overview. In the practical part of the thesis direct observation is used, an analysis of internal documents and a semi structured interview with managers and ordinary employees. The output of the thesis is a conclusion and a recommendation how to improve the current state in a company. These suggestions may be used for the reward system modification in the given company, which would lead to greater satisfaction.

The Benefits of Green Spaces

This diploma thesis with the theme of The benefits of green spaces deals with the benefits of green space and their value. The main part of the thesis is a literary review summarizing the theme of the benefits of green space and the methods of their evaluation. The first part of the review focuses mainly on the identification of the functions of green spaces in an urban environment and a closer look at their effects, utility and functioning. In this section the effects of the phenomena that occur in urban environments and which are suppressed thanks to green spaces are also analyzed. The second part of the review is devoted to the importance of evaluating green spaces and their benefits and further to methodologies, which are discussed in detail. The following section analyzes the evaluation methodologies and their positive and critical points are identified. This section also divides the methodologies according to their relevance in the Czech environment, which is specific and the methodologies developed in the Anglo-Saxon context cannot be applied without modification. This chapter also compares data sources needed to develop a methodology for evaluating the benefits of green spaces. In the fifth chapter of the thesis, a methodology for calculating the economic value of the benefits of green spaces in the city is created, based on the knowledge gained in the literature review. The methodology combines methods from various sources and adjusts them to the Czech context. It also examines the data sources needed in order to set up the whole balance sheet. The sixth part deals with the discussion, in which is the summary of the data, which arise from the assembled methodology and compares them with the literature and the application of similar methodologies in other territories. The conclusion summarizes the information obtained in the research and suggests other possibilities of their future use.

New Synagogue in Brno

The presented diploma thesis was elaborated as an architectural study of a new synagogue in Brno according to the assignment. The goal of the thesis was to design the architectural proposal of the synagogue as well as of the new centre for the Jewish community and Jewish museum. The Jewish community in Brno is a closed community. The aim was to create a place for members of the Jewish community which would be separated from the public space. The proposal is divided into two parts, the museum with public space and the buildings of the Jewish community. The Jewish community area consists of the kosher restaurant, offices, library, community hall, mikveh ritual bath, synagogue and garden. The suggested structural organization enabled to separate public space of Jewish museum from the internal private area for the Jewish community while keeping the overall integrity of the venue.

Design and implementation of metrics for campaign management in telecommunications

Diploma thesis is focused on the evaluation of marketing campaigns which are realized in the environment of telecommunication companies. The thesis' main goal is the identification, analysis and design of metrics and dimensions which can be used for evaluation of marketing campaigns benefits, and which can provide feedback in the process of new campaign definition. The solution offered in the thesis provides a tool for more effective and more reliable analysis of marketing campaigns. The analysis of the current evaluation process and a suggestion of the process modification is also part of the proposed solution. The first part of thesis explains the relation between marketing, marketing campaigns and process of campaigns evaluation. The theoretical knowledge necessary in campaign evaluation is examined. The next chapter is focused on the characteristics of the telecommunication company which affect the way how campaigns are evaluated. The introduction of the thesis' practical part identifies the metrics actually used, where the knowledge of employees is imposed. Metrics are analyzed in the third chapter. The output of the analysis is used to design an automatized solution which generates the OLAP cube and reports for campaign evaluation. The functionality and suitability of the solution is verified by the implementation of a pilot solution with an example of reports on model campaign. The thesis' last part is supplemented with an analysis of the current evaluation process in the given telecommunication company, and suggestion of process modifications, there where the designed solution is utilized.

Intersection design modification of roads I/55 and II/432, Hodonín

The aim of this Master's thesis is design of possible modifications of crossroad I/55 and II/432, primarily with focus on capacity and safety. The first part of this thesis is dealing with measurement and evaluation of current traffic intensities, and capacity calculations of suggested design modifications. The second part of the thesis consists of detailed project of one design modification (diamond interchange) for documentation for construction permit.
