Grey Literature in VUGTK
Drozda, Jiří
Výzkumný ústav geodetický, kartografický a topografický (VÚGTK) se věnuje výzkumu a vývoji v oboru zeměměřičství, geodynamiky země a katastru nemovitostí, vývoji a testování nových technik, postupů a software a odborným konzultacím v těchto oblastech. Při těchto činnostech vzniká velké množství šedé literatury, kterou VÚGTK částečně zveřejňuje prostřednictvím svých webových stránek. V roce 2011 VÚGTK začal koncepčně řešit uchování šedé literatury s cílem vybudovat digitální repozitář. Strategickým záměrem VÚGTK je bezpečné uchování a zveřejnění šedé literatury s dodržením standardů pro výměnu dat tak, aby své výstupy mohl dále šířit prostřednictvím národních a mezinárodních bází. V příspěvku bude představeno též využití metodik a standardů Národního úložiště šedé literatury a navázání spolupráce.

Grey Literature & CRIStin: Current Research Information System in Norway
Asserson, Anne
CRIStine is The National documentation system for all research performance institutions there are publicly Funded in Norway. CRIStine is based on CERIF data model which is composed of IContextual metadata where Person, Organization, Output, Projects etc. are integrated. CRIStin holds the contextual metadata to the Institutional Repositories of the research performing institutions. Currently, CRIStine development is focused on tools which will serve for Organizations easier ways to access information within large data sets and to analyze that information in hopes of managing performance and making better decisions.

Grey Literature at Mendel University in Brno
Svobodová, Věra ; Perlová, Vladimíra
The paper summarizes the experience of a university library which has not started building institutional repository and which lacks conceptual treatment of work with grey literature. The MENDELU Library deals primarily with university final theses which are after their defense submitted to the library in printed copies and made further available in electronic forms within the University Information System. In addition, the paper focuses on current cooperation between MENDELU and NRGL (National Repository of Grey Literature) and our experience with data preparation for harvesting through the OAI-PMH protocol.

Differences in CO2 Extraction of Vegetable Oils, Essential Oils, and Minor Components from Plants
Sovová, Helena
Significant progress in understanding the phenomena that control supercritical fluid extraction from plants was made in the last years and is reflected in the literature. Combination of chemical engineering approach and botanical knowledge has appeared to be fruitful for the choice of extraction model and even for the prediction of extraction kinetics. This contribution refers to the papers utilizing knowledge of plant microstructure and location of extracted substances together with extraction equilibrium and attempts to specify the differences among extraction kinetics of vegetable oils, essential oils, and other substances. The most abundant substances like vegetable oils in seeds can be regarded in first approximation as non-interacting with plant matrix, in contrast to the minor components whose equilibrium concentration in CO2 is affected by their adsorption on matrix and often also by co-extracted substances.

Performance of Continuous Micro Photo Reactor – Comparison with Batch Process
Drhová, Magdalena ; Hejda, S. ; Křišťál, Jiří ; Klusoň, Petr
Utilization of the flow chemistry as well as microreactors belongs to the latest trends in chemical engineering. Continuous microreactors of various kinds can be found in the literature, for example the micromixers, micro packed beds, or micro photo reactors. In order to evaluate the benefits of microtechnology application for the given process, the performance of a particular microreactor needs to be compared with the conventional setup. This contribution presents the performance of a continuous micro photo reactor in comparison with a batch process. Two model reactions were selected: the catalyzed photooxidation of 4-chlorophenol (4-CP) and the singlet oxygen chemical quencher 9,10-dimethylanthracene (DMA) in dimethylformamide. The tests were carried out using advanced opto-chemical apparatus with a well-defined light filter corresponding to the absorption bands of the used photo catalysts.

CDS Invenio - a software solution for National Repository of Grey Literature
Müller, Tomáš
For retrieving, preserving and managing digital documents of gray literature and its metadata a sophisticated software system must be used. CDS Invenio is a software solution for the needs of NRGL – for the central repository, which collects and the grey literature and makes it accessible and for the co-working organizations, which produce the grey literature. Its complexity, flexibility and open-source solution ensure fulfilling of nearly all requirements that NRGL have for this system.

Experimentální zkoumání elektromagnetické aktivity kvasinkových buněk na milimetrových vlnách
Jelínek, František ; Pokorný, Jiří ; Šaroch, Jaroslav
The direct detection of oscillations in biological cells may deliver strong evidence for Fröhlich´s theory of coherent excitation in biological systems. Some results of measurement at millimeter waves published in the literature are mentioned. A laboratory equipment for the measurement of mm-waves excitations in yeast cells is described. The measurement system is controlled by computer and measured data are stored in the computer memory for evaluation. Some results of the evaluation are given.

Nurse and her work in prison system of the Czech Republic.
KRÁLOVÁ, Michaela
Abstract The title of the Bachelor´s thesis is "The nurse and her work in the prison service of the Czech Republic. The nurse´s work always starts from the patient´s needs and shall provide the patient with the feeling of surety. The nurse´s work is focused not only on the nursing care but also on the support of the health and healthy living standard. It is a set of measures and particular activities which the nurse carries out, is qualified to carry them out and is responsible for them. The nursing care depends entirely upon the patient's condition and the surroundings where the patient is found. It is beneficial for the nurse working in the prison service to have experience in more nursing specialisations as her work is large-scale and the nursing care is not just focused on one body organ and its associated complications. The main objective was to map out the specifics of the work of the nurse working in the prison service of the Czech Republic whether within outpatient or inpatient wards. We were interested in what had motivated the nurses to work in the prison service of the Czech Republic, what her duties were and how the nursing care was carried out in the prison service of the Czech Republic. The research was done using qualitative research methods. The selected research technique was a semi-structured interview, which was developed based on valid standards and legislation and according to specialized literature related to the problems of the prison service of the Czech Republic. The results of the interviews were analysed by means of casuistries which then became the base for categorised charts and graphs. The research sample composed of six respondents who work as a general nurse in the prison service of the Czech Republic. By means of the research, we found out that the interviewed nurses work in compliance with valid standards and legislation. The nursing care is carried out in the form of a nursing process and the work of the interviewed nurses working in the prison service of the Czech Republic has its own specifics and differs especially in the approach to the prisoner/patient and in the communication with him/her. The most frequent specific facts of the work of the interviewed nurses were accompanying the prison service officers whether accompanying the respondents or a prisoner/patient, day-and-night locking, more administrative work. The motivation of the nurses to work in the prison service appeared to be an interesting salary, new experience and curiosity. The job description of the interviewed nurses in the prison service of the Czech Republic is defined by a given specialisation of a particular facility and internal rules of the facility where the interviewed nurses work. The thesis concluded that the interviewed nurses working in the prison service of the Czech Republic have got a different and specific job which is mainly influenced by the structure of the patients and the surroundings where the patients are located. It is a mentally-demanding job. In practice the results of the research could be used at the specialised conference for non-medical professions in healthcare or published in a specialised journal of health care.
