Comparison of mollusc fauna from selected natural reserves on southern Moravia

In this thesis is compared mollusc fauna of six protected areas on the south of Moravia, with characteristic and appraisal of their condition. These protected areas belong to control of BR Lower Moravia and almost all of them belong under control of CHKO Pálava: NPR Cahnov Soutok, NPR Křivé jezero, NPP Pastvisko u Lednice, NPR Ranšpurk, NPR Slanisko u Nesytu, EVL Trkmanské louky. Tested hypothesis was, whether reserves with prevailing of forest cover evince richer faun compare to reserves with prevailing of open space.
Mollusc fauna was collected by individual picking with the aid of flush solid material through strainer and off take of forest soil. Subsequently collected material was inspected in detail, sorted out and determined.
Information about discovered species was compared with the aid of Simpson´s index of domination and Jaccard´s index of similarity and recorded to tables. The biggest index of diversity has NPR Ranšpurk and the lowest has NPR Slanisko u Nesytu according to Simpson´s index. It means that community of molluscs from NPR Ranšpurk is covered same amount of specimen determined species, while on NPR Slanisko u Nesytu was discovered dominance of vulnerable species Anius spirobis (Linné, 1758). According to Jaccard´s index of similarity is the most similar (31%) reserve NPR Křivé jezero and NPR Slanisko u Nesytu and the worst similar (8%) are reserves NPP Pastvisko u Lednice and EVL Trkmanské louky.
Hypothesis was confirmed on the grounds of number of species determined on collected stations and Simpson´s index with bigger diversity on reserves with prevailing of forest cover. According to Jaccard´s index of similarity are forest areas and open areas similar with 66%. The high similarity is consequence of abiotic factors, which influence inspected areas in reserves.

Business project based on franchising

The thesis describes business project based on franchising. For this type of business had been choosen the company The Little Gym which is deals with providing services mainly exercise classes in specialized gyms for children aged from 3 months to 12 years. The aim of this thesis is create a business and economic evalution of the project in the field of fitness with the use of franchising.
The thesis is devided into theoretical and practical parts. In practical part the authoress used data from the Czech statistics authority and created a comparison of development birth of childrens, income of families, proportion of minor against the population and others namely between regional cities as Hradec Králové where a new branch will come and Ostrava where the branch was recently opened. Marketing research of potential customers was focused on their opinions and attituteds to physical activitites. Further was done a market segmentation and analysis of competition, especially Porter model. The financial plan was developed based on calculation from the available data. In conclusion the bussines plan was evaluated including evaluation of the economic aspects of the project.

Support of regional development through the Local Action Group Podchlumí

The Diploma thesis deals with issues of the support of regional development through the Local Action Group Podchlumí, r.a. (LAG Podchlumí).
The goal of this thesis was to explore the contribution of the LAG Podchlumí to quality of life of residents and business development. Assessment of the influence of LAG on regional development has been based on the existence and implementation of the Program of rural development program of the Czech Republic Axis IV. LEADER, which leads to an improvement of management and to mobilization of the natural inner potential of countryside. The Program of rural development represented the main financial source for fruition of LAG projects in the previous programming period.
In this thesis, activities of the LAG Podchlumí and local subjects for support and development of partnership of residents and for public, business, and non-profit communities have been analysed. Implementation of own projects, through which the versatile development of the region, life improvement of residents, increase the attractiveness of the region has been evaluated. In order to get an independent and objective evaluation, an anonymous questionnaire has been conducted among residents of the region Podchlumí. Further, personal observation of the region Podchlumí, a study of professional literature as well as of internal materials of the LAG has been done. The hypothesis that the Local Action Group Podchlumí plays an important role in development of partnership of public administration of municipalities, agricultural subjects, independent agricultural as well as non-agricultural enterpreneurs, and non-profit organizations has been verified on the basis of analysis of realized activities. Support from the Program of countryside development to the region Podchlumí, Measure IV.1.2 Realization of local development strategy, contributed to achieving improvements in quality of life of residents. The greatest support was given to appearance of communities and quality of infrastructure, development of public facilities and services. Financial resources were spent also on modernization and development of agricultural as well as non-agricultural business. In comparison with other LAGs in the district Jičín, the LAG Podchlumí supported the greatest number of projects through the measure IV.1.2 of the Rural development program on realization of local developing strategy. It has been found by means of evaluation of the anonymous questionaire among residents of the region that residents perceive improvement of appearance and life of communities but they are not aware of the fact that many projects have been implemented with the contribution of activities of the LAG Podchlumí. For this reason, the LAG Podchlumí should focus more on propagation of its own activities. Residents of the region are interested in surrounding of their villages.
It is possible to made conclusion that the results of analysis of activities of the LAG authenticated and confirmed correctness of the hypothesis that the Local Action Group Podchlumí plays an important role in development of partnership of public administration of municipalities, agricultural subjects, independent agricultural as well as non-agricultural enterpreneurs, and non-profit organizations.

Assess the current state of nutrition of horses in the specific stables and proposal optimal doses according to the their performance

This work deals with calculations of feed rations of selected thoroughbred horses at the High School of Horse Racing in Prague together with an assessment of economic aspects of horse feeding. The school is mainly focused on the education of jockeys, which means that the work with horses has to conform to the school requirements that need not meet the ideal feeding rhythm of the horses.
United Kingdom norms were compared to the selected Czech norms. Focus was mainly on the racing season, which provides direct comparison of the feed rations with the horses results in the races. The racing season has the highest energetic requirements that need to take into account not only the requirements for the races themselves but also for the resting periods. Feed rations were measured and fed in precise time intervals. Main feeds were oats, hay, bran and Spillers feeds.
During the assessment period a negative side - effect of high temperatures during consecutive heat - wave periods was observed. This aspect may prove important in the future and needs to be taken into account not only for feeding but for the entire horse training.
Out of five examined horses, exceedance of digestible energy requirements was observed with two horses and underestimation with one horse. For two of them the anomaly was in norm. However, the horse with the highest exceedance was experiencing difficulties with feeding, always leaving a part of the ration intact. This made it necessary to adapt the rations to a higher figure than calculated.
Economic aspect of horse feeding needs to be taken into account. The feeding expenses can be decreased by a suitable selection of a feeding mix, however the savings in this regard are not fundamental.

E-government and open data in state administration

This diploma thesis focuses on the problematics of eGovernment and open data. Thesis assesses the situation in the Czech Republic as well as in countries of European Union. The opendata and eGovernment history, its developments, current state and outlook for future are described. The thesis aims to analyze the characteristics of opendata and compares eGovernment in the Czech Republic with other countries of European Union according to Open Data index. In the last section of this work, selection of the proper data for publication in the open format data is discussed. Its implementation and validation
is demonstrated with the example of selected instution in the Czech Republic.
In the theoretical part of this thesis problematics of eGovernment in the Czech Republic is discussed. The analytical part assesses the open data publication by the Czech ministry of social security administration. Analysis is conducted using bottom up and top down methods.
The benefits of this diploma thesis is the overview of the eGovernment and open data format publications in the Czech Republic and its comparison with other European countries and creation of the methodical framework for choosing the correct data for open data format publication.

Political aspects of local government – political system of municipalities of Klatovy region

This diploma thesis is focused on the verification of the theory application coming from the conclusions of Stanislav Balíks thesis, which generalizes election behaviour during elections for local authority and it is based on an analysis of election facts in the regions of Šumperk and Jeseník. The aim of the thesis is to verify whether the theory conclusions are applicable to the results interpretation of election behaviour and the characteristics of the party system in other regions of the Czech Republic. The thesis is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. In the theoretical part there is worked on the theoretical and legislative conclusions and Stanislav Balíks thesis. The thesis itself starts with the basic characteristics of the region of Klatovy, its administrative and demographic structuring. The core of the thesis is the data analysis of the Czech Statistical office, concerning the elections from 1994 to 2014. The attention is paid on voter turnout at municipality elections depending on different factors and the results of the elections are discussed in detail from the point of view of the suggesting parties and the number of women in municipality politics. The last chapters include a summary of the data from the region of Klatovy, it is compared with the results of Stanislav Balíks thesis and the application of his theory in another region in the Czech Republic is discussed.

Resolving of insolvency of business corporations trough bankruptcy

The presented thesis tries to introduce the reader to the course of the insolvency proceedings, especially in bankruptcy proceedings. The theoretical part mainly discussed about the meaning and history of this institute, further aspects necessary for the commencement of insolvency proceedings and then there is described in more concise form the additional course up to the decision on the debtors bankruptcy. Subsequently, the author deals with the consequent procedure in cases where the debtors bankruptcy is solved by bankruptcy. Describes the course, focusing primarily on the sale of the debtors property and its subsequent allocation among the creditors until its conclusion, which is the submission of the final report by the insolvency administrator of the court, its subsequent approval and distribution schedule. In the practical part of the thesis the theoretical knowledge mentioned above is applied to the selected insolvency case of business corporation. In this part there are also pointed some potential problems and complexities that arose in this case. There is also described and analyzed the entire insolvency proceedings from filing an insolvency petition to the preparation of the final report by the insolvency administrator, that is the stage where the proceedings took place on the date of submission of this work. Furthermore, the author discusses the development and the number of insolvency proceedings in our country since 2008 when the new legislation of this institute came into force. On the same principle, the author also deals with the analysis of the most common types of obligations of business corporations.

Influence of low-cost banks on banking trade in the CR

The aim of the thesis is to analyse in what ways the entry of the low-cost banks in the banking market in the Czech Republic influenced the fee policy of the large banks. The intermediate aim of the thesis is to find the most appropriate bank for a particular client. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with the situation and the development of the banking in the market economy, with the banking system, the financial market, the general overview and the bank products specification. Basic terms closely connected with the bank account are explained. In the practical part low-cost banks working in the Czech banking market are introduced. Here is where their basic market results are compared and the development of the clients number of the low-cost banks in the course of time is presented. In the analytical part the comparison of bank fees related to the use of the current account is shown on the examples of model clients (passive, average and active client) with the three largest banks in the banking market in the Czech Republic before the entry and after the entry of low-cost banks. Hereafter the fees between particular banks on the present conditions in the market are compared. From the analysis follows that the most suitable institution offering the considered services free are Fio Bank and Air Bank with the profile Passive Client and UniCredit Bank and Equa bank with the profiles Average and Active Client.

Ethics in business and corporate social responsibility

This diploma work considering Business ethics and social responsibility of companies discusses a contemporary topic. The work is separated into several parts. The applied part of the work is based on literary research of selected literature, and deals with business ethics and responsibility of companies that deal with bus traffic and truck transport in actual business practice. The applied part was done by comparing four selected criteria that are linked to corporate responsibility of companies. All of the presented subjects have been dealing with helping people and groups of people for at least ten years, especially to those who need help due to health disorders at being included in normal, everyday life like healthy people, participate in all kinds of sports, culture and social activities. The presented companies and other subjects have been showing for many years how important their help is. The final part of the work contains twenty-five recommendations aimed at expansion of social responsibility of companies.

Securities and their characteristics; types and social positions. Legislation under the Civil Code no. 89/2012 Coll.

The bachelor´s thesis deals with an analysis and consequent comparison of the current legislation on securities and securities trading (Act No. 89/2012 Coll. and Act No. 90/2012 Coll.) against the legislation applicable prior to recodification as stipulated by the former Securities Act (Act No. 591/1992 Coll.).
In the first, analytical part, the thesis introduces the issue at hand, explains the relevant terms and definitions, provides a view of the money and capital market, and defines securities, their forms and social applications.
The second part includes practical research, comparison, and consequent evaluation of positive and negative aspects of the amended legislation. The comparison evaluation is also supported by a satisfaction survey carried out in the form of questionnaires among respondents directly affected by the amended legislation. Also, the author devotes a part of the thesis to a comparison of contracts for the transfer of securities before and after the recodification.
