KRIŠTŮFEK, T. The Concept of Training for a Qualification CPL(H): Master´s Thesis. Brno: VUT Brno – Brno University of Technology, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Institute of Aerospace Engineering, 2013, 58 p. Supervisor: Mgr. Hammer, J. This master´s thesis deals with flight training to obtain the qualification CPL(H). In the introduction part of this thesis are specified the requirements for obtaining this qualification and there is a description of the type of modular flight training. Other chapters are focused on the type rating for helicopters, the use of helicopter simulators and the choice of an appropriate flight training school. There is also a list of helicopter flight schools, including an overview of helicopters which are used in the Czech Republic. The final chapter is consisted of the financial analysis of the flight modular training at flight schools and evaluation of this analysis, the possibility of providing loans and credits. There is an overview of the total costs for the qualification of the commercial helicopter pilot.
Travelling and lifting mechanism
Folprecht, Michal ; Malach, František (referee) ; Malášek, Jiří (advisor)
The main goal this thesis is presenting solution for manipulation with chopper BELL between of hangar and landing zone. The main task is design useful construction solution by required task, also perform a strenght calculations each part of mechanism and drawing documentation. Also included is a 3D visualization of the entire mechanism.

Travelling and lifting mechanism
Bernard, Vladislav ; Malach, František (referee) ; Malášek, Jiří (advisor)
The thesis deals the design and calculation of handling equipment designed for transport of Bell helicopter between the airport and hangar space. The first part contains an analysis of possible mechanisms applicable to the handling of the helicopter as well as an overview of the overall evaluation of some producers, engaged in the manufacture of this type of device. The second part presents the design, necessary calculations and drawing documentation. Handling equipment is designed for loading kapacity of 2000kg with a minimum 80 mm lift of helicopter to ensure safe transportation to the required distance.
Air flow load on a roof structure induced by a helicopter during erection works
Fidler, Tomáš ; Križan, Jiří (referee) ; Nevařil, Aleš (advisor)
Diploma thesis is focused on modeling rotor downwash generated by the main rotor of helicopter and analyzing its effects on the roof structure. Theoretical definition of rotor downwash flow is described in the first part of the text. Governing equations of computational fluid dynamics are briefly explained as well as boundary layer and finite volume method. Next part inquires into numerical simulation of rotor downwash based on height of rotor above the roof, shape of roof plane and climatic conditions. Results are compared with climatic load values provided by actual Czech construction standard in the end of the text.
Helicopter rotors
Brožek, Petr ; Pejchar, Jan (referee) ; Petrásek, Miloslav (advisor)
The Bachelor thesis Helicopter rotors has several purposes. Delineate historical development of the helicopters as a vehicle and combat vehicle. Describe main parts and their roles in helicopter. Put into aerodynamics of the rotors. Create overview of the most commonly used types of the helicopter main rotors and anti-torque configurations for contemporary helicopters, followed by a more detailed analysis.
