Fundamental analysis of a share of BHP Billiton

This thesis deals with a fundamental analysis of BHP Billiton company, whose shares are listed on exchanges in Johannesburg, London, New York and Sydney. The thesis in its three chapters aims to assess the impact of global, sector, and company factors on the stock price. The first chapter focuses on macro factors that affect the stock price, the second chapter focuses on the state of the sector, regulations, and innovations in the sector, and the third chapter includes calculations of the intrinsic value. An assessment of these factors will result in a recommendation whether the company's shares should be bought or sold.
Valuation of Tesla share

In my bachelor thesis, I worked on an analysis of Tesla Inc. (TSLA). The output was to decide whether the stock is undervalued, overvalued or at the level of its intrinsic value. In order to fulfill this objective and provide an investment recommendation I performed analysis from three perspectives. Global macro analysis was focused on the influence of macroeconomic variable on the stock and US capital market. Sector analysis was run deeply into market structure of electric vehicles to evaluate its potential in the future. Finally, fundamental analysis on the corporate level was done using Free-Cash-Flow-to-Firm method. Last, but not least I performed valuation using historical models in order to confirm my conclusion.
The fundamental analysis of the company Pegas Nonwovens

This bachelor thesis is dedicated to the fundamental analysis of the company Pegas Nonwovens. The purpose was to execute global, industrial and company fundamental analysis and to determine intrinsic value of the stock. Based on the previous, the aim was to suggest an investment recommendation. On global level I analyzed the relationship between the development of significant macroeconomic factors and the stock value. In the industrial part of the analysis I examined the characteristics of nonwovens industry, such as market structure or influence of regulatory authorities. In part dedicated to company fundamental analysis I dealt with calculation of intrinsic value by various methods. Based on the whole analysis and calculated intrinsic value I suggested an investment recommendation, according to which is the stock of Pegas Nonwovens underestimated and suitable for buying.

Bachelor thesis is focused on finding suitable investments in stocks and bonds based on evolution of value investing. Two main concepts of value investing are intrinsic value and margin of safety. Thesis includes theoretical knowledge of stocks and bonds investments as well as examples of investment strategies. The result is a guidance of how to apply theory on capital markets to achieve capital appreciation. During the research for a potential investment great emphasis is placed on investment idea. Investment story is based on qualitative and quantitative information. Key aspects of this thesis are to provide needed theoretical basics and practical examples of investment decision making. The examples may be used as a support during other investment analyses.
Visa company analysis

The aim of my bachelor thesis is to analyse Visa's growth potential in the future and to determine the intrinsic value of its shares. To achieve this, I use a fundamental analysis which helps me decide whether the company has growth potential and whether the stocks are undervalued or overvalued. Individual chapters observe global, industrial and company factors, and intrinsic value which is determined by dividend discount models, cash flow to equity models and historical models. The results of my thesis show that Visa has potential for future growth; nevertheless, the shares are overvalued at current stock market conditions.
Creation of a Stock Portfolio Based on the Economic Results of the Issuers

This master thesis deals with creation of a stock portfolio based on the economic results of the issuers listed on US stock market. The theoretical part describes basic terms and theoretical basis of financial markets and stock analysis. The practical part includes fundamental analysis based on selected methods and financial indicators. At the end there is proposal of appropriate stock portfolio structure.

The aim of this diploma thesis is to do a fundamental analysis of selected stock title. The main part of thesis is the implementation of the theoretical experience in global, sectoral and corporate analysis. It will be determined intrinsic value of shares of company Philip Morris CR, Inc. In first will be calculated three input that are needed for further calculations. The second step is the calculation of the intrinsic value of the shares of several models. The chosen methods are single-step dividend discount model, Free Cash Flow to Equity and two historical models. Finally, it will be proposed investment recommendations based on the comparison of the actual values based on market prices.
Fundamental analysis of Turkish Airlines

The aim of the thesis is to perform fundamental analysis of the Turkish Airlines' stocks to see if the shares are priced correctly and whether it is worth investing in. I chose this company, because I am accustomed to use its services. This thesis starts with a global analysis, continues with sectoral analysis and concludes with a firm's analysis. The work is designed in such a way that at the beginning of each chapter the theory is given, and then it immediately proceeds to the practical part. The conclusion of the thesis is the analysis of the aircraft industry and the revelation of the factors that influence on its development. The situation in the country was assessed in its relation to the Turkish Airlines' development. The benefit of the research is the investment suggestion.
Fundamental analysis of Erste Bank

This bachelor thesis deals with fundamental analysis of Erste Bank's shares on the Prague Stock Exchange. The first chapter analyses the influence of macroeconomic variables on development of the stock index. In the second chapter attention is paid to banking sector, therefore how its development can influence share price. The last chapter deals with corporate analysis, which using various methods calculates the share's intrinsic value. Based on these partial analyzes is derived investment recommendation relating to Erste Bank shares in conclusion.

This paper contains a theoretical description of the use of fundamental analysis including a description of the specific models use dinfundamental analysis as a tool for determining the intrinsic value of traded shares. In the practical part I apply this analysis to the selected share with the help of publicly available information.
