Movement Analysis of Vehicles on Crossroads
Benček, Vladimír ; Juránek, Roman (referee) ; Sochor, Jakub (advisor)
This thesis proposes and implements a system for movement analysis of vehicles on crossroads. It detects and tracks the movement of vehicles in the video, gained from the stationary video camera, which has the view of some crossroad. The trajectories are stored and their number and directions are analysed. The detection was made using cascade classifier. A dataset of 10500 positive and 10500 negative samples has been created to train the classifier. Vehicles are tracked using KCF method. For trajectory clustering, needed by analysis, the Mean Shift method is used. Testing showed, that the overall success of vehicle movement analysis is 92.77%.

Part of this work is a comparison of the achieved result with existing solutions.
Videocodec - Videosequence Compression
Bařina, David ; Motlíček, Petr (referee) ; Smrž, Pavel (advisor)
This thesis deals with modern methods of a lossy still image and video compression. Wavelet transformation and SPIHT algorithm also belong to these methods. In second half of this thesis, a videocodec is implemented based on acquired knowledge. This codec uses Daubechies wavelets to analyse an image. Afterwards there is a modified SPIHT algorithm applied on gained coefficients. A lot of effort was put in order to optimize this computation. It is possible to use the created codec in Video for Windows, DirectShow and FFmpeg multimedia frameworks. At the end of this thesis, commonly used codecs are compared with newly created one.
Small packages
Drštičková, Hana ; Jamrichová, Kristína (referee) ; Janů, Valentýna (advisor)

Thematically, the work has two layers. First, it deals with the reflection of (my) selected hobbies that relate to specific ideas about nature and landscape. These hobbies are divided into three thematic areas named Emo Maps, The Cowboy Spectrum, and Bio Tops. In the second layer, the work is a critical reflection on the use of hobby strategies in art work, as one of the last available ways to create in times of permanent crises.

Master’s thesis deals with developing of multimedia application that allow play and receive multimedia files as audio and video. In thesis introduction, there is theory overview about programming language J2ME, its parts and divisions in couple of chapters. The applications developing begin by choosing focus groups and also group of devices that agree with present trends about mobile devices. The next part undertakes selecting development tool NetBeans IDE based on requirements for multimedia develop and also undertakes selecting software development kit Nokia SDK and its short definition. Afterwards, the application and its basic classes and methods are briefly characterized. The chapters of classes and methods are divided according algorithm level, following development description dividing aspect. Program functions are enriched with flow diagrams completing written text, which have marked important points of program. The main chapters describing algorithm parts begin with define audio and video play. The other pages include description of network connection a data transfers. In every part the programmer part, algorithm is analyzed first and than general options and functionality of this area. In file play part, it is selection of file and proceeding to launch playing with function control possibility. In case of network connection, it is access to network and data handling, eventually communication with each other in client - server hierarchy and consequential multimedia content playing. In the end of development part, reader is cognizant of application fault handling that is inherently part of every application working with I/O data. Next chapter is devoted to future development a design resulting to present process. In the thesis it can be found also application description from user’s point of view, user manual a solving incurred problem situations.
