The subject of diploma thesis is new building of sport center. This object is detached building, situated in flat terrain in Brno. Building has a basement and two floors. In the basement is technical facilities of the building and the technical rooms for pool water regulation. Building is divided for two parts. In the first one is swimming pool, dressing rooms, three shops, snack bar and office part of swimming pool. In the second part of building is climbing center, bar and freestyle center or the extreme sports. The object has rectangular plan , the skeleton of the building is made of timber constructions and roofed is by the flat roof.

Sports centre

The aim of this master thesis is proposal of a sport center building. The proposal consists of design of a detached building with room for climbing gym, sauna, massage room and also space for fitness, spinning and yoga. A bar with area for relaxing is a part of the building as well. The sport center has two floors and no basement. Due to the climbing gym, the second floor does not cover all disposition of the second floor. The support system of the building is skeletal. Part of the building´s roof is supported by steel truss frames with purlins, another part with solid panel trusses with purlins. The cieling is made of holoribs and reinforced concrete. The building is covered by single layer roof and has ventilated facade.

Sports center

The new building sport center without cellar. The object is based on strip foundation. The footing bottom is in frost resistant depth. Construction system is in both ways. Vertical walls are made by cut bricks POROTHERM. The external cladding is replenished by thermal insulation plaster POROTHERM TO. Horizontal constructions are made by filigree ceiling panels. Stairway is made by reinforced concrete. Heating system is ensured by gas boiler.

Sport Center in Holešov

This bachelor thesis “Family Residence with Two Flats“ is composed in a form of implementing project documentation and it contains all requisites according to the valid regulations. It is a complex of two connected buildings. The first part is the base for athletes and spectators. The second part consists of a sports hall with the playing surface and bleachers for spectators. The first part of the building has 3 floors. The sports hall is roofed using trusses made of laminated wood. Part of this work is the study of dispositions specialization focused on technical equipment of buildings and wooden structures and seminar papers presented in the form of drawings details.

Sports center and nursery school

This diploma work deals with a project documentation for a sport center with a nursery school. The building has got three cascading floors. From funcionality perspective it divided into two parts, the sport center and the nursery school with a kitchen. The entrance to the sport center is located on the second floor where there are also facilities for sportsmen (changing rooms, showers, toilets, washrooms, a washroom for disabled people), facilities for the sport center manager, public toilets, buffet, storage. The playing area is situated on the first floor along with equipment storage, air conditioning machine-room and boiler-room for the whole building complex. Both floors are interconnected with a corridor with a wheelchair access lift. In the second part of the building, on the second floor there are situated kitchen, adjacent storage, staff facilities (changing room, toilet, rest room), office. On the third floor there is the nursery school, which means two daily rooms, changing rooms, toilets, dining room, food servery counter, toys storage, teachers facilities (rest room, toilet, showers), director office, cleaning room, outdoor toys storage. Both floors have their own entrance and are interconnected with a secondary staircase and a small cabin lift. The building object is found on single footings and strip foundations. The building is three-storeyed, bricked with thermal insulation. Load bearing structure of the roof is made of slightly curved glued laminated trusses.

Sport centres in the Czech republic - possibilities of using in tourism

The aim of the diploma thesis is to analyse the total capacity of sport centres in a selected region of the Czech republic. The capital city of Prague was chosen for this analysis as one of the most important tourist destinations within the Czech republic with a developed sport infrastructure, which offers a potential for the development of active tourism. Not all of the sport centres situated in Prague are included in the research, but the emphasis is put on such centres and services related to sport activities that can be used by tourists within the active and passive sport tourism. The thesis also includes a survey which aims to find out, what are the general trends in the behavior of people in relation to active and passive sport tourism and sport activities in Prague.
