Generation of Skin Disease Effects into Synthetic Fingerprints from Anguli Generator
Hytychová, Tereza ; Drahanský, Martin (referee) ; Kanich, Ondřej (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to design and implement a tool for generation of skin disease effects into synthetic fingerprints from Anguli generator. The proposed algorithms are capable of creating images with effects of warts and hyperkeratotic eczema. The OpenCV library was used for image processing. The resulting images are tested by VeriFinger and can be used for testing fingerprint recognition systems. Test results proved that both of the diseases have negative impact on fingerprint recognition. By adding effects of warts to a~fingeprint image, the image quality has decreased by up to 34 % and by adding effects of hypekeratotic eczema, the quality has decreased by up to 77 %.
Promblems of cosmetic products for children on the Czech market.
LISÁ, Diana
The thesis deals with problems of cosmetic products for children available on the Czech market. The thesis aims to analyse whether cosmetic products for children contain substances that can harm health by its adverse effects. These research questions were chosen. 1. Is the health of children being endangered by cosmetics? 2. Is there a difference from the point of view of health threats caused by undesirable substances both of common and natural cosmetic? The thesis is divided into the theoretical and the practical part. The theoretical part examines the historical development of cosmetics and focuses on skin diseases that can be often caused by cosmetic products. It also defines concepts and legislation in terms of cosmetics and differences between common and natural cosmetics available. The practical part is devoted to the composition of the products and to the content of the harmful substances destined for complexion of children. By means of quantitative examination through questionnaires given to parents of children, data on the issue of children's cosmetics were obtained. The output assessment resulting from the research proves the low awareness of respondents in terms of certified natural cosmetics, little interest in the composition of children's cosmetics and insufficient education as for harmful substances contained in cosmetic products for children. The survey also revealed that 45% of parents have registered adverse effects of cosmetics on children's| complexion.
Generation of Skin Disease Effects into Synthetic Fingerprints from Anguli Generator
Košťák, David ; Drahanský, Martin (referee) ; Kanich, Ondřej (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the design and implementation of algorithm for generating skin diseases on the image of synthetic fingerprint. The program produces images of fingerprints damaged by atopic eczema and psoriasis. The signs of each disease are embedded in the fingerprint images created by the Anguli program. The resulting images are tested by VeriFinger.
Local Histogram Analysis in Fingerprint Images
Glesner, Ladislav ; Drahanský, Martin (referee) ; Kanich, Ondřej (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with local histograms. Using these histograms, the fingerprint quality at a given location is determined. Analysis of local histograms is done using my proposed algorithms. The resulting algorithms were tested on the fingerprint database and on the damaged fingerprint database. Using these tests, a database of local histograms with a fingerprint quality rating at a specific location is created. As an extension, an algorithm for determining the quality of the entire fingerprint image is implemented.
Detector of Skin Diseases by Fingerprint Technology
Barotová, Štěpánka ; Antonini, Giulio (referee) ; Drahanský, Martin (advisor)
This work discusses detection of skin diseases in damaged fingerprint images and describes the solution implemented using image processing techniques.
Influence of Psychogonical Factors on Skin Diseases
Eklová, Zuzana ; Preiss, Marek (advisor) ; Procházková, Jana (referee)
The the thesis is focused on the issue of psychic factors influencing a distribution and extent of skin diseases. The bachelor work consists of three main parts: In the first - theorotical one is the psychosomatic issue taken to parts throught a general point of view and through a perspecitve of skin diseases. Following part is a story of my own experience with ekzema and its healing proccess. The most extensive part presents a qualitative research exploring a presence of three phenomenons that appear in letters as possible factors effecting a distribution and extent of skin diseases. These phenomenons are: diffcult life events, negative strategies of stress management and neurotic components of personality. Results of the research show a possibility of influence of psychic factors on the extent of skin diseases, but they also show us how individual and non-uniform this influence is.
Generation of Skin Disease into the Synthetic Fingerprints
Bárta, Milan ; Kanich, Ondřej (referee) ; Drahanský, Martin (advisor)
The thesis deals with design and implementation of a tool for simulating marks of chosen skin diseases into a synthetic fingerprint. The diseases selected to work with are warts and atopic eczema. The marks of diseases are generated into a synthetic fingerprint image created by the SFinGe application. Existing disesase-affected fingerprints from the STRaDe database are analysed in detail. Then, methods for simulating the diseases into a synthetic fingerprint are proposed, implemented, and the results are evaluated.
