Adaptation of Speaker Recognition Systems
Novotný, Ondřej ; Pešán, Jan (referee) ; Plchot, Oldřich (advisor)
In this paper, we propose techniques for adaptation of speaker recognition systems. The aim of this work is to create adaptation for Probabilistic Linear Discriminant Analysis. Special attention is given to unsupervised adaptation. Our test shows appropriate clustering techniques for speaker estimation of the identity and estimation of the number of speakers in adaptation dataset. For the test, we are using NIST and Switchboard corpora.
Automatic Recognition of Logopaedic Defect in Speech Utterances
Dušil, Lubomír ; Atassi, Hicham (referee) ; Smékal, Zdeněk (advisor)
The thesis is aimed at an analysis and automatic detection of logopaedic defects in speech utterance. Its objective is to facilitate and accelerate the work of logopaedists and to increase percentage of detected logopaedic defects in children of the youngest possible age followed by the most successful treatment. It presents methods of speech work, classification of the defects within individual stages of child development and appropriate words for identification of the speech defects and their subsequent remedy. After that there are analyses of methods of calculating coefficients which reflect human speech best. Also classifiers which are used to discern and determine whether it is a speech defect or not. Classifiers exploit coefficients for their work. Coefficients and classifiers are being tested and their best combination is being looked for in order to achieve the highest possible success rate of the automatic detection of the speech defects. All the programming and testing jobs has been conducted in the Matlab programme.
Biometric Gateway Using Camera to Identify People
Jelen, Vilém ; Drahanský, Martin (referee) ; Goldmann, Tomáš (advisor)
Biometric gateways are used to quickly and accurately identify people. Of the biometric characteristics, iris, face and fingerprints are commonly used. By combining them, better identification results can be achieved. The aim of this thesis is to create such a biometric gateway together with the control application. A combination of iris of both eyes and face is used, which is captured by cameras from three angles to increase accuracy. Neural networks are used to detect and extract face features. Iris recognition is realized using Daugman's algorithm.
Simple Dictation System
Hromádko, Michal ; Schwarz, Petr (referee) ; Szőke, Igor (advisor)
This master's thesis deals with design and developement of simple dictation system. It explains methods used for speech recognition and describes existing systems. Design of the system is focused primarily to create graphic user interface with large emphasis on user friendliness.
Multi-Modal Restricted Boltzmann Machines
Svoboda, Jiří ; Beran, Vítězslav (referee) ; Hradiš, Michal (advisor)
This thesis explores how multi-modal Restricted Boltzmann Machines (RBM) can be used in content-based image tagging. This work also cointains brief analysis of modalities that can be used for multi-modal classification. There are also described various RBMs, that are suitable for different kinds of input data. A design and implementation of multimodal RBM is described together with results of preliminary experiments.
Demonstrational Program for IZU Course
Hreha, Tomáš ; Šůstek, Martin (referee) ; Zbořil, František (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the design of application for visualization of fundamental algorithms of artificial intelligence. The first part describes theoretical part of implemented topics and methods, next part briefly describes used technologies, reasons why they were used and their practical usage in context of result application. The next part is dedicated to user interface, its main components and describes ways how application interacts with user and how user can interact with application. The last part contains comparison with original demo applications and summarize results of application testing.
Simple Gesture Recognition
Verner, Jan ; Beran, Vítězslav (referee) ; Potúček, Igor (advisor)
This bachelor thesis describes usability of DTW algorithm and it's variants for simple hand gesture detection. It recapitulates actual situation and findings in branch of computer vision and aims on methods for hand gesture recognition and common description of DTW algorithm.
Fast Detection of Natural Objects
Zelinka, Martin ; Bartl, Vojtěch (referee) ; Šimon, Martin (advisor)
Thesis deals with the detection and localization of dogs in the image. It analyzes computer vision techniques suitable for solving this problem. It is designed and then implemented solution. Data set of images representing the object of the search and the data set of negative images are created. The resulting solution is finally subjected to training in order to determine the best parameters for used algorithms. The resulting program is included in the attached DVD.
Kinect-Based Gesture Recognition
Zapletal, Filip ; Šolony, Marek (referee) ; Žák, Pavel (advisor)
This paper describes methods of obtaining position data of individual body parts using different technologies, with particular focus on Kinect. Based on this knowledge was designed and implemented library for the detection of dynamic motion gestures, which has been tested on a set of designed gestures.
Chord recognition
Soudek, Ondřej ; Glembek, Ondřej (referee) ; Černocký, Jan (advisor)
The goal of this bachelor thesis is to create an application, that will perform a real-time analysis of a signal from electric or acoustic guitar and will recognize a chord or tone, played by user. This document contains basics of music theory and the solution of the problem, as well as the results of testing.
