Invenio within the NRGL: Version 1.0 and More News
Slouková, Jana
Both digital repositories maintained by NTK (NRGL and IDR) are powered by the open source software Invenio. Its great flexibility allows us its continuous development and adaptation to our needs. This year we added several features that make it easier to work with the repositories - for example, we improved the search, presentation of records, and added export to various citation managers. Following the release of new version of Invenio, we also created a new freely available installation script, that facilitates the installation and basic configuration of the system to those interested in creating their own repository.

Pekárek, Miroslav ; Střížová, Vlasta (advisor) ; Stoilov, Martin (referee)
The purpose of this paper is to summarize current knowledge about electronic trading and to outline the benefits and drawbacks of potential software solutions in electronic trading. This paper is focused not only on theoretical findings and bases, relating to electronic trading, but also on the possibilities of establishing such trading within the confines of the Czech environment. Its goal is to select a suitable open source software solution for electronic trading based on predefined criteria and to warn of potential challenges relating to it. This should serve, in such a case, as a methodical set of instructions that guides the individual to select the correct solution. Among other aspects, this paper should also help an individual interested in electronic trading to decide, whether or not an open source solution is suitable, and if there is any merit in exploring this option.
MS Project and alternatives
Leitermann, Petr ; Šťastný, Petr (advisor) ; Balada, Jakub (referee)
A growing interest in using project management in various companies is recognizable during past few years. It is mainly applied in the case of major corporate transformation, innovation or implementation of the goals but there are also companies using project management for most of its activities. Development in the field of project management also entails increasing demands for information related to the project, which is obviously reflected in the requirements for project management tools. In addition to the growing demands on the development of existing functions we can more and more often meet the demand of interaction with other corporate software, which causes particularly the trend of increasing complexity of information systems across all organizations. This work does not only focuses on finding the most appropriate options to support the management of individual projects but also to provide an overview of the current state of the market in the area of project management tools. Opportunities and quality of software offered are illustrated by the ranking of selected tools in a number of criteria, on the basis of which the user should be able to choose the most appropriate depending on his requirements or at least choosing the type of application from which will be the acquired instrument selected.
