Tato práce s názvem "Porovnání Open Source systémů pro správu webového obsahu na platformě Java" s podtitulem Magnolia CMS versus OpenCms je zaměřena na systémy spravující webový obsah, které jsou šířeny zdarma pod licencemi na Java technologii (dále jen jako Java). Cílem první kapitoly je seznámit čtenáře s nejčastějšími technologiemi, které se používají při vývoji CMS aplikací. Jsou zde uvedeny základní principy World Wide Webu a vysvětleny pojmy jako je tenký klient, technologie na straně serveru a na straně klienta a databáze a zmíněny jejich druhy. V druhé kapitole se zaměřuji na vysvětlení pojmů document management system, web content management system a content management systém a jeho základní funkce a druhy. Dále je vysvětlen pojem Open Source a hlouběji se věnuji architektuře CMS a tomu jak tato aplikace funguje. Třetí kapitola je věnována krátkému představení a samotnému porovnání dvou content management systémů Magnolie CMS a OpenCms a to podle na začátku stanovených kritérií. This bachelor thesis called "Comparing Open Source Content management system for Java platform" with its subtitle "Magnolia CMS versus OpenCMS" is focused on systems for web content management, which are distributed at no cost under the license of Java technology (hereinafter referred to as Java). The objective of the first chapter is to introduce the reader with the most common technologies, which are used for developing CMS applications. I name the basic principles of World Wide Web and then explain the terms thin client, server technology and database etc. and referenced their types. The second chapter is focused on explaining terms like document management system, web content management system and content management system, and their basic functions and types. Futhermore in this chapter, I explain the concept of Open Source and I go in depth about the architecture of CMS and how the application works. The third chapter is devoted to a brief introduction and comparison of the two content management systems, Magnolie CMS and OpenCMS, according to the criterias defined at the beginning.
