The ifluence of the capital structure on the company valuation

This thesis investigates the relation between capital structure and company value. The theoretical part of the thesis discusses different approaches to finding the optimal and most efficient capital structure for the company. Even though a broad theoretical basis related to the topic of capital structure exists, quantifying the theoretical background can lead to a variety of problems. Until now, no clear approach to optimizing the capital structure has been identified. In the practical part of the thesis, theoretical knowledge is applied on a real company COOP Jednota in Jindřichuv Hradec and an optimal capital structure is proposed.
Financing of firms - resources of financing

This master thesis deals with financial resources of company. I explain terms such as enterprise financing, capital structure, structure of company assets, long and short-term financing, shareholder's capital, liabilities and their costs. For the qualification purpose I have divided the financial resources into shareholder 0s equity and liabilities. They are separately described in the third and the fourth parts. They are the most importatnt and the widest parts of the whole thesis. The last part is devoted to alternative resources, that companies can use for financing of their business plans. The thesis concentrates on the possibilities of financing for large business companies. The aim of my thesis is to provide its readers with a variety of knowledge on the topic, which should enable them to make thier own financial decision. Evaluation of the company which successfully passed the reorganization - evaluation of the company MSV Metal Studénka, a.s.

The aim of my diploma thesis is to estimate the market value of the company MSV Metal Studénka, a. s. as of 31st December 2015. The evaluated company produces large variation of steel forgings, pressings and railcar components. The thesis will bring financial analysis of the company and based on strategic analysis and value drivers of the company the financial plan will be drawn up. The valuation of the company will be estimated using income methods of discounted cash flows APV adding market comparison method specifically called similar public company method.
The Specifics of Financial Management of Holdings Companies

The main purpose of the thesis is to explore the specifics of the financial management of holdings companies in the Czech Republic with an emphasis on the area of financial management. However, the author assumes that persistent reasons for holding creation is using of synergy effects consisting mainly of centralized management of cash flows to minimize the cost of capital and minimizing the risk of an individual investor who actively makes managerial functions in view guarantees of individual companies. It was found the lack of a comprehensive and systematic approach for a qualitative research. A total of 15 holding companies was use for the qualitative research. The outcome gives many answers concerning the specifics of the financial management of the holdings companies. It seems guarantee, minimizing cost of capital and cash management are key points. The synergistic effect of the holding companies can be used when transferring financial means between companies holding. The impact of the transfer of available financial means was simulated for holding No. 13. It was clearly shown to decrease WACC at one of the companies within the holding. It was found that the subsidiaries, which effectively control the cash flow, maintain a low level of Cash Ratio and Net Working Capital. It was also found that the subsidiaries that manage cash flow effectively, achieve higher ROA. The same assumption was not found in the parent companies. The research question that subsidiaries, which effectively control the cash flow, use financing through bank loans to a lesser extent, was partially confirmed.

Cost of equity as the measuring instrument of risks during the corporate- and market life cycle

This dissertation is focused on relations between corporate life cycle and the structure of entrepreneurial risk, that is measured by cost of equity. Besides the corporate life cycle there is considered also the market life cycle. The research results prove, that there are only little differences in the structure of entrepreneurial risks depending on the corporate life cycle and the market position.
IMPACT OF SYNERGIC BUSINESS ON COMPANY VALUE

The doctoral thesis is dealing with the questions about synergy business which is understood as clusters, strategic alliances and franchise. It investigates the influence of the selected synergy business on the change of the company value (market value or the objective one). The topic reacts on the contemporary economic trends where fusions and grouping of companies is happening in more levels. One of them is the fusion and acquisition. Second one are various forms of alliances and groupings which allows to companies cooperation, sharing of knowledge, marketing, risks, know-how etc. They allow to the small and middle size companies to increase their competitiveness against the big firms. The doctoral thesis is treating the effect of using one of the form of the synergy business, namely the franchise, on the company value. Because just the increase of the company value should be one of its basic goals. In the framework of the doctoral thesis was made a research with the goal to identify the changes of selected value generators, which determine as a whole the company value. On the basis of the research results there was made in the final part of the work model evaluation of some variants, simulating the value change caused by the change of the selected value generator and there was quantified the synergy effect coming from the use of synergy enterprise. At the end of the work there are summarised the results of the research and of the model determination of the company value, possible benefits for the practice and theory and there are mentioned some possible starting points for the following scientific work in this field.
Financing Options for Development of Company with Regard to Optimization of the Capital Structure

The thesis discusses the possibilities of development finance company with a view to optimizing its capital structure. In the practical part are applied the theoretical findings, is done analysis of the selected company by absolute and relative indicators, is calculated the value of the necessary capital, subsequently determined the most appropriate financing option with respect to the optimal capital structure of the company and recommended what resources the firm should finance the development.
Estimation of the Value of the ŽĎAS, a. s.

This thesis deals with the determination of the value of the joint-stock company ŽĎAS using the income approach. To determine the value of the yield method was used the DCF method in variant entity and EVA also in variant entity. The theoretical part is mainly focused on describing the procedure of determining the value of the company from the definition of the enterprise, the categories of value and purposes awards to description of methods and their specific process. The practical part is attended of determining the value of the company ŽĎAS at the level of an objective value that can be considered generally acceptable. Determining of the value is preceded by processing of strategic and financial analysis and compilation of value drivers and financial plan. Determination of value is made at the date of the first 1st 2014, and should be only used for internal needs of the stock company ŽĎAS.
Performance Evaluation of the Company Using Statistical Methods

This master’s thesis contains performance evaluation of Profidebt company using financial analysis indicators from years 2006-2012, further SWOT analysis is performed together with statistical analysis of economic ratios with next term’s prognosis. In the first part, theoretical basis is explained and it is applied on the company in the second part of thesis. In the end, quantified results from the analysis are evaluated and proposals are devised.
