Theme of my bachelor’s thesis is The State veterinary administration as an element of the Integrated Emergency System to solve extraordinary events. For the draw up of my bachelor’s thesis I drew from the domestic and foreign sources. At the first part I deals by legislation and cooperation of The State veterinary administration with elements of the Integrated Emergency system. Then I focus on activities of the veterinary administration in the event of liquidation of dangerous diseases and other extraordinary events. At the conclusion of the thesis I drew own proposition of brochure The Decalogue of bird flu for public.

Intervention of Integrated Emergency System in Traffic Accidents with SR

The topic of my bachelor thesis is Intervention of Integrated Emergency System in Traffic Accidents with SR. Current valid legislature relating to this topic is mentioned in the thesis. Basis of this bachelor thesis is gathered from national and foreign sources. In the first part of the bachelor thesis I deal with basic terminology related to the topic. Then I deal with current status and radiation protection equipment of individual units of Integrated Emergency System and I describe procedure of particular units during the intervention. Within a practical training I proved given procedures of this issue and set possible ways how to improve that in the last part of my work.

Knowledge of a selected group of the population in the Karlovy Vary region about behavior during emergencies

The content of this thesis deals with emergency situations and behavior during their occurrence. The main objective was to investigate the awareness of the population of the Karlovy Vary region regarding behavior during emergency situations. This knowledge was verified by a questionnaire survey, which also tested the theoretical knowledge of the population in this field. Based on the results obtained from the questionnaire, a proposal for a possible two-hour seminar was created to supplement the missing knowledge and strengthen the existing one. The theoretical part is focused on the definition of an emergency event and its classification according to the method of occurrence. The issue of civilian protection is also addressed, including the evacuation of civilians, warning of the population, evacuation bags, and improvised means of protection. The reader will also learn what a crisis situation is and how to distinguish between its types. The basic components of the integrated rescue system and their tasks are listed here as well. The last chapter covers selected emergency events and recommendations on how to behave during them. The practical part is devoted to the research survey itself. Comparison of knowledge of the lay and professional public about the activities of the Fire and Rescue Service of the Czech Republic within the integrated rescue system.

The Fire Brigade of the Czech Republic represents one of the key components of the integrated rescue system. In the Czech Republic, the Fire and Rescue Service is it's main coordinator. It's task is to ensure the coordinated action of the components of the integrated rescue system, both in preparation for emergencies and in the implementation of rescue and liquidation work. Together with other units, it ensures a continuous emergency response, whose task is to receive reports of emergencies, evaluate them and, if necessary, take urgent action when they occur. The aim of this thesis is to quantify the knowledge of the general public about the activities of the Fire Brigade of the Czech Republic within the framework of the integrated rescue system, to quantify the knowledge of the professional public about the activities of the Fire Brigade of the Czech Republic within the integrated rescue system and to make a comparison of both quantifications and to draw recommendations. The research was carried out by means of a quantitative research survey. A non- standardized questionnaire was chosen for the data collection technique. The non- standardized questionnaire was addressed to the general and professional public. The data collection was carried out among the general public in the author's immediate vicinity and among the professional public in the fire stations of the Znojmo Territorial Department, consisting of the Znojmo Fire Station, the Moravský Krumlov Fire Station and the Hrušovany nad Jevišovkou Fire Station. The data sets obtained were investigated using one-dimensional and two-dimensional statistics (non-parametric testing, two- choice parametric testing). The results of the investigation confirmed the hypotheses of research (the knowledge of the lay public has the character of a normal distribution, the knowledge of the experts is very close to the division of Poisson's, there is a statistically significant difference between the knowledge of the lay public and the experts at the level of 0,05). The information obtained identifies shortcomings of the general public in their knowledge of the scope of activities of the Fire Brigade of the Czech Republic within the integrated rescue system. This information can then be used to create information material that will focus on the lack of knowledge of the general public or for further follow-up work and deeper investigation of individual responses.

Employment of women in the fire department of the Czech Republic

The dream of becoming a firefighter is not reserved for men. Even women have their dreams, and dreaming of becoming a firefighter one day is not a bad thing. I too have had such a dream since I was little and to know how I can become a firefighter, where I can apply everywhere, what I should prepare for, so I tried to find answers to that in my work. In the theoretical part, the reader will learn basic knowledge about the Fire Rescue Service of the Czech Republic. What kind of organizational structure it has and what kind of legislation is central to it. Subsequently, he will read what it means to be a member, how to become one, the rules of the employment relationship regarding maternity and parental leave. We see firefighters in the uniform that everyone wants to wear, but even that has its own rules. Also included are the possibilities of applying and the content of a woman's work at the territorial department and how other countries have it with women in the fire brigade. In the practical part, I carried out research and analysis using interviews with members of the HZS of the South Bohemian Region at the Regional Department of Písek and the Regional Directorate in České Budějovice. I asked all fourteen members, when there were 7 women and 7 men, 13 identical questions. The questions were constructed in such a way that the gender of the interviewee did not matter. The answer to the research question "What role does a woman have in the Fire Rescue Service of the Czech Republic?", "Can she be a valid part?" was discussed in the discussion. The objective of this thesis was met and the research question was answered. A woman has a wide range of employment at the Czech Republic's Fire and Rescue Service and is a valid part of the service. Whether, it will be in the office, in a leadership position or in a field unit.

Integrated rescue system building in Horice

The subject of the thesis is the development of project documentation at the construction stage. This is a new construction of a two-story fire station with an adjacent sports field, a training fire tower, an inner courtyard, a parking area, all connections, paved areas, new fencing and modification of the connection to the existing road. The building is for fireman in Horice and it is in the category of fire station P1.

Study of the preparedness of the Volunteer Fire Brigade of the Municipalities (VFBM) in the Liberec Region to fulfill the tasks of protecting the population.

This thesis is focused on mapping and conducting training of members of units destined to fulfill the tasks of population protection. The research questions sought two answers: in the Liberec Region, fire protection units are predestined to solve the tasks of population protection, and if they are members of these units have the professional competence to perform these activities. The thesis is divided into a theoretical part and a practical part. The theoretical part is describe the protection of the population and its development in the Czech Republic. It is described below the organization of fire protection in the Czech Republic, their tasks with emphasis on the predestination of fire protection units, the implementation of basic training and gaining professional competence of members of the units of voluntary fire brigades of municipalities according to currently valid legal regulations. The thesis aims to answer questions relating to the level of the the implementation basic and cyclical training is provided and in accordance with the research question asses the level the professional competence of the members of the fire protection units for protection of population and design proficiency enhacement procedures
