Operational and Economical Assessment of New Turbine Installation
Čech, Jan ; Hejda, Lukáš (referee) ; Luňáček, Jiří (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the operational and economic assessment of the installation of new TG3 turbines in the Přerov Heating Plant. The beginning of this thesis deals with a brief theoretical introduction of this investment and describes the classical economic evaluation methods and the Monte Carlo method. Subsequently, the investment project was analyzed and inputs for the economic model were created. The economic model was then evaluated using classical methods and Monte Carlo methods, the results are then compared with each other. Based on the results of the economic evaluation, the most efficient variant of the Přerov Heating Plant technology was chosen.
Energy evaluation of an administrative building
Stadtherr, Jan ; Horák, Petr (referee) ; Adam, Pavel (advisor)
This master’s thesis deals with the energy assessment of an administrative building. The theoretical part is devoted to legislation for energy assessment – law, regulations and technical standards. The application of this legislation is provided in the calculation part as energy audit and energy performance certificate of the administrative building. The last part of this thesis is dedicated to application of computational softwares for analysing results of heat consumption in comparison with reality.
Feasibility Study of the Reconstruction of the Building Construction
Svobodová, Zuzana ; Bohm, Rudolf (referee) ; Korytárová, Jana (advisor)
The aim of this work is the explanation of the issue of passive houses and renovation of existing buildings to passive energy standard. Another task of the work is a feasibility study of building renovation of the "Tuzex" for the needs of Center of sustainable construction in Brno. Part of this study is to create a marketing analysis, design of organizational project management, a description of technical solution, impact assessment project on the environment and in particular evaluating the economic efficiency of investment. The result of this work is to evaluate the feasibility of the project under current conditions.
Design of rehabilitation of selected parts of the sewer network in Valašské Meziříčí
Škařupová, Karolína ; Karásek, Miloš (referee) ; Raclavský, Jaroslav (advisor)
The aim of this master´s thesis was design of rehabilitation of selected parts of the sewer network in Valašské Meziříčí. The work is divided into several parts. The first part is a description of the preliminary research based on appointments with the operator of the sewer network. The second section describes the basic information on the assessment of the sewer network. In the third part, the evaluation of technical and operational conditions according to ČSN EN 13 508. This section was supplemented by creation of supportive software program in Microsoft Office Excel, which is based on the proposed TNV 756905. In the next part the environmental assessment was performed digging and trenchless technology and then selected a possibility representative to design of selected parts. The fifth and sixth section contains technical and economic evaluation designed technology. A final section deals with the choosing optimal rehabilitation technologies for the design of selected parts of the sewer network.
Building Energy Performance Certificate
Tokarčíková, Jana ; Vyhlídalová, Karolína (referee) ; Horák, Petr (advisor)
The bachelor's thesis deals with building energy performance certificate of the Vítkov apartment building. The theoretical part is focused on thermal insulation systems and insulation materials. The calculation part carries about an analysis of the energy needs and flows of the building together with the energy evaluation of apartment building. This part continues with the design of five revitalisation arrangements, which are assessed according to energy, economic and environmental assessments. The project part contains six energy performance certificates of assessed building.
Heat pump for a family house
Chlud, Jaroslav ; Köbölová, Klaudia (referee) ; Pospíšil, Jiří (advisor)
The topic of the final bachelor thesis is heat pump heating. The aim of the thesis is to design a system using heat pump technology in a family house and economic and energy assessment of the designed system. This thesis focuses on research about heat pumps and usable low-potential heat sources. The envelope method is used to estimate the heat loss. The calculation of heat loss and heat demand is facilitated by using a calculation tool from a web source. The design of the storage water heater is calculated using the standard. Operat-ing costs and payback are calculated by simple formulas. As a result of the work, the design of heat pump, drawing heat from the ground, and the connection of the device to the existing system is implemented, which corresponds to the assignment of the work. A reduction in the total heat demand and therefore energy consumption due to energy saving measures is achieved. The system can benefit by saving operational costs for heating and hot water. The short payback period shows that the investment in the selected heat pump is worthwhile. This work can serve as a basis for the real implementation of the heat pump design.
Evaluation of Economic Effeciency and Risk of Investment Project
Novotný, Jiří ; Hromádka, Vít (referee) ; Korytárová, Jana (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with the evaluation of economic efficiency and risks of an investment project. This is the construction of a multifunctional building in Brno. The theoretical part of the thesis explains the basics concepts, defines the phases of the project life cycle, describes cash flows, economic indicators and deals with project efficiency management. The practical part is devoted to the investment project, especially the creation of cash flows and the resulting evaluation of the economic efficiency of the project. At the end of the work, a sensitivity analysis is demonstrated.
Energy and environmental assessment of buildings
Kubínek, Tomáš ; Baroň, Alexandr (referee) ; Hirš, Jiří (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to give a general idea of energy; what it is, how it is created (rather transformed), how it is distributed and used in many of its forms. In detail it describes how buildings are evaluated in terms of energy consumption, how can we lower this consumption and how it affects the environment. Part A, theory, gives a general idea of the theory surounding transformations, losses and uses of energy. It describes processes of assessment of buildings. Part B, calculation methods, give an idea how current CZ/EU regulations describe optimal calculation methods. These methods include: energetic, enviromental and economic evaluation of buildings or energy-saving measures. Part C, project, describes an exact measuring in Elementary School Svážná-Brno. It describes the means of obtaining information. Includes graphically processed monthly energy consumptions. It also includes list of used sensors (measuring air temperature, humidity and surface temperatures), schemes of sensors placements, schemes of building and technical systems. The main part of this project are graphs of measured data made in EXCEL with descriptions.
Design of a renewable heat source using an energy performance certificate
Karas, Richard ; Vyhlídalová, Karolína (referee) ; Horák, Petr (advisor)
The bachelor's thesis deals with the design of a renewable heat source of the existing kindergarten building in Janovice. The design is made using the building's energy performance certificate. The theoretical part deals with renewable energy sources for heating, which specifically focuses on thermal energy and biomass. The calculation part deals with the energy analysis of energy needs and flows of the building, the energy needs for individual building systems and in coclusion the economic and ecological evaluation of design states. The project part contains three energy performance certificates of assessed building.
