Title: Transforming teacher education of chemistry in the Czech Republic Abstract: The title of the dissertation is 'Transforming teacher education of chemistry in the Czech Republic'. The work describes and analyzes the current system of the pregraduate prospective teachers' training of chemistry at universities and faculties of science focused on teaching science as well the subsequent in-service education of chemistry teachers in this country. The work also takes into account the post-war development of education in the republic from 1945 until present and the list of all the universities and faculties that educate chemistry teachers. The most important section of this work identifies and analyzes the current state of training and further education of chemistry teachers and the design of chemistry teachers educational conception in the Czech Republic. Analysis of Marketing Communication Universities with Regard to the Interest of Candidates for Study

Educational institutions have an irreplaceable role in society. There is still a greater interest in studying at universities, that is the reason for generating of a competitive environment. The universities have to create a competitive advantage for their market success. The marketing communication is also important. The aim of this thesis is to detect, if there is the relationship between marketing communication of private nad public universities in the Czech republic through the media and if there is an interest of the applicants in the study.

Setting and verification of the program of breathing exercises for adolescents as a supporting structure for their mental health in educational institutions

The diploma thesis deals with the effect of breathing and relaxation exercises on the mental health of adolescents in educational institutions as there is a lack of such free time activities. There were 9 participants from the Children's home Žíchovec in the age 1115 years in this research. They took part in a 12-week intervention program called "I breathe therefore I am", that was set according to the specifics of adolescence. The effect of breathing exercises to the human body and mind was monitored by the Biofeedback Shulfried 2000x-pert device, the Profile Of Mood States questionnaire and the "Unfinished Sentences" method. The acquired data were analyzed and statistically validated. The results confirmed positive effect of breathing exercises on reducing the affective states, deepening abdominal breathing and decreasing the pulse frequency. The intervention program was reccomanded as a part of the free time activities of adolescents in educational institutions.

Remuneration system in educational institutions

This thesis deals with the reward system in educational institutions. The theoretical part is focused on the reward system of employees. Then it describes how to perform a successful employee evaluation and how to avoid mistakes that can come during the evaluation. Other part mentions forms of remuneration, motivation, and what is the role of wage in employees motivation. The theoretical part is completed with topic of educational institutions. The practical part is based on qualitative research, which is done in private elementary art school in Čecké Budějovice (První soukromá základní umělecká škola s.r.o. v Českých Budějovicích) and in the centre of ecological and global education Cassiopeia. For my research I used the analysis of provided manuals for staff remuneration and semi-structured interview. I surveyed the informations about evaluation of employees, if they are the basis for the subsequent remuneration in specific organizations.I created improvement proposal of evaluation, remuneration and motivation based on comparison of the discovered informations.

The further training of the staff in facilities for the elderly

In my thesis I deal with the further education of employees in the retirement institutions. I determine whether and how are employees in retirement institutions being educated in Prague, what does education mean and how it is important to them. I examine the motivation for further education and the use of possible bids. The theoretical part deals with staffing in retirement institutions and the current state of lifelong education and its division. The main theme was further education and its place in accredited educational institutions. The practical part is based on the evaluation questionnaire. Questionnaires were compiled on the specified hypotheses. Questionnaires were distributed in 5 retirement homes in Prague. Survey was attended by 84 employees and five employers. The aim of this work was to find further education in the retirement institutions over a period of two years and compare it with the options (bids) of educational institutions. To find it out was chosen quantitative research. In conclusion I put out the greatest challenges of further education, which are bad legislative basis and a huge financial drain, which means poor support from the state.

This bachelor thesis examines the Internet connection in selected educational institutions in the Microregion of Bystřicko. The aim of this thesis is optimization of Internet connection in selected educational institutions the Microregion of Bystřicko by comparing offers from internet service providers with the needs of school facilities. The practical result of this thesis is the plan of optimization internet connections on the basis of offer from internet service providers and analysis of needs of selected educational facilities. This thesis may be used as a base for improvement of range of services of Internet providers in the microregion.

Marketing communications of the educational institutions in The Czech Republic.

The role of educational institutions in the development of society and state economy is becoming increasingly important. The number of students in colleges and universities is growing, as well as number of universities and the education institutes are trying to be successful despite poor market conditions and get as many students as possible. Good marketing communications is a tool for universities to create a competitive advantage in the market and thus contributes to strengthening the financial situation of colleges and universities, regardless of its legal form. The thesis contains an analysis of the university market in the Czech Republic regarding the marketing point of view and type of financing particular universities. The thesis analyses the perception research of marketing communication performed by universities to appeal to their largest demographics high school students.

Ways of zootherapy utilization in educational institutions

Zootherapy is a method based on a positive interaction between animals and humans. The contact with animals has proved good in the treatment of attention and communication disorders, in ill people, in psychiatric patients, the elderly, the sensory, mentally or physically disabled people, but also in healthy individuals. The methods used are Animal Assisted Activities (AAA), Animal Assisted Therapy (AAT) and Animal Assisted Education (AAE). Zootherapy in educational institutions has a positive impact on social relationships and learning, developing vocabulary, memory, emotions, it helps enhance self-reliance and it also has effect on physical condition of a child. The objective of this study was to survey the ways of zootherapy utilization in educational institutions in the České Budějovice region. The method of quantitative research was used to achieve the aims. Data were collected by the technique of participating observation, semi-standardized interview, documents analysis and photo-documentation. By the pilot research 9 facilities were chosen. The results have shown that the most frequently used animals are dogs and horses. Most often, zootherapy is carried out by attending the AAA program. The AAE method is not much used, although educational institutions that are involved. Zootherapy is predominantly practiced in people with disabilities. The most professionally developed technique is canistherapy. Zootherapy is provided on a regular basis. Funding is supported by grants, projects, subsidies, sponsors, parents. Educational institutions personnel have little knowledge of zootherapy. Legislature is executed mainly by a contract between the facility and the providing organization. The research outcomes suggest the following hypotheses: H 1: ``The only zootherapy provider in educational institutions within the České Budějovice region are the o.s. Hafík, o.s. Koníček and o.s. Arpida.`` H 2: ``Educational institutions in the České Budějovice region do not have conditions for the resident form of zootherapy.{\crqq} The thesis may serve as a resource for professionals, zootherapists, but also for the general public. All the information is arranged into the register of ways of using zootherapy in educational institutions.
