Design and realisation of modifications for metalographic microsection device
Bránecký, Martin ; Adámek, Martin (referee) ; Nicák, Michal (advisor)
This work deals with the metallographic grindings of metallographic samples. The work introduces the reader to the basic principles of metallography and metallographic grindings. Project is especially focused on the quality metallographic grindings, namely from dividing of sample to investigation material of sample, focusing on the grinding of metallographic grindings. The main work is to propose modifications and realizations to the device ROW Rathenow – Metasinex, which is used for grinding of metallographic samples. Modifications are directed towards the automation of device and increase safety in the use of the device. Specifically, the application of additional the sliding arm with clamping mechanism for samples on the device and application control several electronic components.
Design and development of AWS/TPWS system testing device
Majchrák, František ; Fiedler, Petr (referee) ; Kaczmarczyk, Václav (advisor)
The aim of the work was design and realization of device to simplify and speed up the testing of AWS / TPWS train protection system. The first chapter is addressed to description and division of train protection systems. The next chapter describes the process of commissioning the AWS / TPWS system and possible applycation of the device to this process. The final chapters deal with design, specification of components, realization of device and verification of its functionality.
Design of Portable Fluorescence Immunoassay Analyzer
Filková, Adriana ; Sládek, Josef (referee) ; Fridrichová, Eva (advisor)
The subject of this bachelor's thesis is a design of a portable fluorescence immunological analyzer for laboratory and healthcare facilities. The main requirements encompassed durability, ergonomics, and easy sample manipulation. Based on technical and design analysis, a custom design was developed, incorporating a stand for holding a testing mico tube, automatic slot opening, a touchscreen display, and an on/off button. The lateral sides of the product are ergonomically rounded and feature anti-slip grooving. To enhance durability, the touchscreen display is recessed into the top surface of the analyzer. The design of the resulting proposal is non-intrusive and meets the environmental conditions for which it is intended.
DC motor driver
Slotová, Petra ; Kincl, Zdeněk (referee) ; Kolka, Zdeněk (advisor)
The bachelor's thesis is dedicated to design of a DC motor driver 28V/1A for use in an aircraft on-board network. The design takes into account the RTCA standard. The device is designed as an H-bridge with a block for power, logic and protection circuits. Subsequently, the thesis is devoted to the design of the PCB, the programming of the software for controlling the motor and the revival of the device itself.
Comparison of measurement accuracy of optical and 3D kinematic system
Surkoš, Ondřej ; Adamík, Richard (referee) ; Kundera, Václav (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with the comparison of the accuracy of two instruments for measuring the vertical jump, using a different measuring principle, namely "Optojump next" and "BTS Smart DX". In the theoretical part, the individual devices are discussed, on what principle they work and are compared with each other. In the practical part we deal with the methodology, processing of measured data and evaluation of the results of measurements.
Terrorism as a Politically Tool of Fear
Hybš, Jakub ; Fiala, Miloš (advisor) ; Huliciusová, Anna (referee)
Bachelor thesis title: Terrorism as a political implement of fear Goal: Aim of the thesis is to define the term Terrorism as a political implement of fear, its substance and it will elaborately get through the international political form of it Methods: Data collection, Literature search and comparison Results: Attacks of 11 September on the Word Trade Center influenced the view of human to terrorism greatly. It launched a new era of terrorism at the same time. In this era government and international organizations have to count all the variants of unconventional combat. Security measures was change throughout the world and states headed by the U.S. hegemon accept the struggle against terrorism as a priority. Key words: Terrorism, politics, fear, safety, implement
Application generating and verifying configurations of network devices
Korček, Juraj ; Tyrala, Radek (referee) ; Jeřábek, Jan (advisor)
The aim of this master's thesis is a design and implementation of a program for finding security and operational deficiencies of network devices and afterwards, resolving them by generating corrective configuration. Due to a lack of security and misconfiguration, there are a lot of devices exposed to the risk of a security incident. Therefore, the program compares settings with various standards, recommendations, and best practices and generates a report with findings. Afterwards, deficiencies can be eliminated by automatic resolution or manually if automatic resolving is not possible. The program uses regular expressions to find problem settings in previously exported configurations. Implementation is written in Python, and YAML markup language is used too. Another output of this thesis is a checklist, which can be used for the creation of future modules for support of other network device vendors and thus extend the program.
Methodology of identification of revisions and inspections of technical equipment for a manufacturing company based on the requirements of ISO 45001
Valenta, Jakub ; Jandová, Kristýna (referee) ; Bača, Petr (advisor)
This work deals with the issue of inspections and revisions of technical equipment according to safe operation standards on the basis of OSH and FP requirements. In the introduction, these fields of work safety and fire protection are described, which will be used in later parts of the work. Subsequently, the term „technical equipment“ and subcategories of this issue are defined, with each of the subcategories being specifically approached. As a result, the thesis describes why it is necessary to regularly inspect the technical equipment, while the individual types of inspections are subsequently defined. This is accompanied by the distribution of the person’s rights to carry out individual inspections and the distribution of responsibility for the inspections carried out. The acquired knowledge is then used to create a model of the process of regulation of inspections and revisions and to create an overview of periodic inspections and revisions of technical equipment for a manufacturing company. This model and review of inspections are then considered the output of this bachelor’s thesis.
Multi-radio Tester Utilizing LoRaWAN and Narrowband IoT Communication Technologies
Novotný, Jaromír ; Štůsek, Martin (referee) ; Mašek, Pavel (advisor)
This Master thesis is focused on the design and consequential realization of the Multi-RAT communication device. The theoretical part describes a comparison of two promising communication LPWA (Low Power Wide Area) technologies that are available to use in the Czech Republic. These technologies are NB-IoT (NarrowBand-Internet of Things) and LoRaWAN (Long Range Wide Area Network). The practical part contains a description used components, their consequential fitting and testing of designed printed circuit board of the device. The thesis also describes the implementation of software and realized measurement. Technical documentation of a device can be found in the appendix of this thesis.
