Statefull Processing of TCP/IP Flows
Olbert, Jakub ; Žádník, Martin (referee) ; Kořenek, Jan (advisor)
The fast development of computer networks brings the necessity to protect those networks against more and more advanced attacks. The security systems require an advanced analysis for their operation which is carried out based on the stateful processing of flows. This Bachelor Thesis focuses on the proposal and simulation of the stateful flow processing system. The proposed system uses a specialized hardware for network operation processing acceleration of high-speed backbone lines. The specific feature of the system is the flow memory distribution between the hardware and software. The created simulation model will make it possible to test and optimize the stateful flow processing system already in the phase of proposal and thus the possible implementation will be facilitated.
Parallel Deep Learning
Šlampa, Ondřej ; Sochor, Jakub (referee) ; Hradiš, Michal (advisor)
Aim of this thesis is to propose how to evaluate favourableness of parallel deep learning. In this thesis I analyze parallel deep learning and I focus on its length. I take into account gradient computation length and weight transportation length. Result of this thesis is proposal of equations, which can estimate the speedup on multiple workers. These equations can be used to determine ideal number of workers for training.
A Network Control Language for OpenFlow Networks
Antolík, Dávid ; Veselý, Vladimír (referee) ; Ryšavý, Ondřej (advisor)
The main goal of this bachelor thesis is to design and implement a high-level language for declarative configuration of Open-Flow networks. The compiler of the language, data model and interpreter were implemented employing Trema as the underlaying Open-Flow controller. The implementation was tested in a virtual network environment and it was shown that it is fully functional for basic network configurations.
Computer Network Design for the Company
Kapoun, Miroslav ; Jordán, Vilém (referee) ; Ondrák, Viktor (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with the complex design of a computer network at the level of a medium-sized engineering company. The thesis deals with the theoretical aspect in order to better understand the given issue. The analysis then includes requirements that will focus on quality and safe operation in the company, which will allow for better market competitiveness. The proposal then highlights the overall project. Overall, the proposed project is in the line with Czech legislation and contains the basic requirements of the company.
A New Generation of an IPFIX Collector
Huták, Lukáš ; Žádník, Martin (referee) ; Wrona, Jan (advisor)
This master's thesis addresses processing of flow monitoring records from a point of view of an IPFIX collector. It analysis the current solution of the modular collector, which went through considerable historical development, and focuses on revealing its strengths and weaknesses. Based on acquired knowledge, a new collector is designed. The new solution, which significantly modifies individual components for processing of flow records, focuses on high throughput and adds missing functionalities. The document also compares performance of both generations and the new collector clearly dominates.
Implementation and development of the Internet in the Czech Republic
Gažda, Matěj ; Hlaváček, Jiří (advisor) ; Wohlmuth, Petr (referee)
The aim of this thesis is to map the beginnings of the Internet in the Czech Republic, i.e. its implementation and development from the beginning of the 1990s (the first connection to international computer networks) to the turn of the millennium, when there is an exponential growth of the Internet in the Czech republic. The research is primarily based on the oral history method, the narrators are people that were at the beginning of the implementation of this technology. This thesis also describes the beginnings of important organizations managing certain aspects of the Czech Internet, the commercialization of the Internet, and an example of the development of a metropolitan network. The work is supplemented with historical documents and articles. For a broader context, the origin and development of the Internet itself is described here, with its subsequent expansion into Europe. There is no comprehensive description of the development of this important technology in the Czech republic. The thesis tries to change this fact.
Application explaining the principles of IP addressing
Bukovinský, Denis ; Jeřábek, Jan (referee) ; Langhammer, Lukáš (advisor)
This master's thesis presents the design and development of an application for teaching IP addressing in computer networks. The application includes a network simulator and an editor, allowing students to work with a predefined network topology, assign addresses to subnets, and customize the network as needed. It verifies the correctness of address assignments and detects address conflicts. The thesis covers theoretical background, implementation details, and testing of the application. The developed tool provides a valuable resource for students, facilitating their understanding and practice of IP addressing concepts in network education.
Implementation of Delta-t Transport Protocol
Current Modern Didactic Means used in Management of schools and Education
Ladrová, Iva ; Svoboda, Petr (advisor) ; Trojan, Václav (referee)
The topic of the importance of modern didactic tools in the current conditions of pedagogical practice is considered as contemporary and often discussed. The thesis deals with the question whether the application of modern technology can streamline the work of teachers, including school management and also whether it can become one of the criteria for raising the level of education and organization development. The thesis gives an insight into the ability of school management and other education participants to accept, but also induce changes and innovations in education. It also concerns the issue of schools' open-minded thinking and providing lifelong learning to local community. The thesis attempts to find a mutual relationship between effective application of modern technology, collaboration and the impact on results of entire work. The thesis deals with the use of ICT across different types of schools. The survey should also verify the impact of didactic tools on the quality and results of education by type of school, especially those who participated in the project of Ústi nad Labem Region called Community School (elementary, secondary, special), including feedback. The output of the thesis is summarization, interpretation and completion of the data obtained.
