Diploma thesis deals with the possibility of using solidification technology to transform the hazardous waste with the aim to achieve the material utilization of solidification products. The aim of the thesis is to determine a suitable solidification formula for solidification product made of hazardous waste that will ensure properties of the solidification product, those will allow its placing on the market.

This master’s thesis analyses a brand of selected company Engineering Test Institute, public enterprise (SZU), which offers services of testing, inspection and certification. Theoretical part of the thesis is focused on literature research of marketing and branding theories. The key part is the analytical part, which contains a detailed analysis of the current state of the brand "Engineering Testing Institute". The thesis also contains a questionnaire survey focused on both the internal environment of the company and its customers. The research is followed by a final part with possible suggestions on how to further develop the brand.

The theoretical part is focused on clarifying the fundamental concepts, including the issue of legislative regulations and laws. The practical part deals with specific examples of changes in the body, which are then examined in terms of legislation and clarify their possible assembly and conditions of use.

The diploma thesis deals with stating the aspects of reliability in product compatibility evaluation, namely with stating result uncertainty in product parameters testing and diagnosis which are imperative for introduction of the product to the market. The practical part of the thesis focuses on stating selected uncertainty in warm-water boilers testing, especially in gas fueled boilers with rated thermal input of max. 70 kW.
Certification of flight simulator training devices according to EASA requirements

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to compile a flight simulator certification procedure according to EASA requirements. The thesis contains a basic division of simulators according to the requirements for simulation fidelity and deals with the certification process of a specific Boeing 737 MAX simulator, where the aim is to certify the simulator to the FNPT II/MCC level. The thesis analyzes the certification from a general point of view, as well as from the point of view of the requirements for the visual system and the sound system and also contains the requirements for the extension from the FNPT II level to the FNPT II/MCC level. The thesis also contains an overview of regulations according to which the certification of flight simulators is done. The thesis also contains a chapter where the possibilities of using the Boeing 737 MAX simulator of the FNPT II/MCC level are described.
CMMI Certification for Software Development in Agile Environment

The goal of master thesis "CMMI Certification for Software Development in Agile Environment" is CMMI quality model research with focus on software development in agile environment in the Siemens company. In the beginning CMMI model and Scrum methodics are introduced. The core of this thesis is focused on the current state analysis. Output of the analysis is a list of potential areas that are currently not compatible with quality model requirements. These areas are to be improved for the company to achieve the desired CMMI certification level. Possible improvements are introduced to the consultant. During the implementation part a web application is realized helping to remove most of the identified imperfections. Application benefit is objectively evaluated by an internal audit. The work includes discussion of possible further application development and quality model standard evolution in this company.

Remotorization of the L60 aircraft

The subject of the diploma thesis is the replacement of the power unit to the Aero L-60 "Brigadýr" aircraft. The reason for such a conversion is the ending life of the original power unit, accumulating technical problems and the effort to achieve higher aircraft performance during normal operation. In the introduction, the aircraft is introduced and there are mentioned the results achieved in the selection of a suitable power unit during the previous work. Furthermore, the work briefly deals with the issue of certification and selection of a suitable method that will lead to the approval of the change and to maintain the airworthiness of the aircraft. The work also addresses the effects of reconstruction on the center of gravity of the aircraft, which are minimized by the appropriate design of the engine mount. The model of such a engine mount was created in the computer software CATIA V5 and subsequently a strength analysis of nine loading cases was performed on it. Furthermore, an analytical inspection of the engine bed tubes on the struts and a check of the strength of the bolts connecting the engine mount to the aircraft airframe were performed. At the end of this work is described the practical installation of the engine and engine mount, including other engine systems.
Comparison of the Marketing Tools and Proposals to Improve their Use in Order to Increase Competitiveness in the Segment of Luxury Hotels (in Crisis)

The object of this work is the analysis and proposals for changes to the marketing tools to enhance the competitiveness of the hotel. The thesis compares the theoretical knowledge with reality in the hotel, specifies opportunities for changes and methods, how to achieve these opportunities. Based on the analysis of the competitors, SWOT analysis and the questionnaire the proposals for change will be identified.
