Financial analysis of German and Italian Football League Clubs and their comparison

Title: Financial analysis of German and Italian Football League Clubs and their comparison Objectives: The aim of this work is to find out the financial situation of chosen football clubs playing German and Italian League and compare them. Methods: In this thesis was used a method of analysis of financial document for getting the required data. At these data was applied creditworthy and bankruptcy models as one of financial analysis methods. Because of the possibility of comparison, the data were monitored in four consecutive years. Results: Application of bankruptcy and creditworthy models has brought many new results for selected German and Italian football clubs. Most of them would have to leave the current competitive business environment. But the environment of sport industry is very specific and clubs despite the unhealthy economy kept alive. The only exception is the economic situation of Bayern Munich. Not only excels in sports results, but also in this analysis, it is the only club where we can talk about "financial health". The aim of this thesis is to perform a comprehensive financial analysis of COUNTRY LIFE, s. r. o. for the period 2010-2014, followed by a view of the forecast of the company's future development. The thesis is divided into 3 parts. The first part is the methodological one which delimits the methods and techniques, which will be used to perform financial analysis. The second part includes financial analysis itself with the intercompany comparison and the comparison across the sector, in addition, the financial health of the company was verified. The third part is the highlight of this work, which is dedicated to the short-term financial plan for the years 2015 and 2016. The plan is based on the information acquired from the financial analysis, supplemented with strategic analysis.

The use of financial analysis in the evaluation of the company management

The main objective of this thesis is to assess the financial health of the selected company to use various methods of financial analysis, which will be chosen on the basis of theoretical knowledge. In the practical part are theoretical solutions applied to specific data from the financial statements of the company and selected results are presented in tabular and graphical form using a spreadsheet. At the end of the thesis the financial situation of the company resulting from specific data is interpreted in context and procedures and measures for its improvement potential weaknesses or exploiting possible opportunities are designed.

This bachelor thesis on the topic of financial analysis of chosen company is engaged in assessing the financial situation of the joint-stock company První zemědělská a.s. Tuněchody in the period from 2010 to 2014. The thesis consists of theoretical and practical part. Theoretical part describes basic concepts and methods of financial analysis. In the practical part is based on the actual data of the chosen company to calculate basic indicators of financial analysis. For the overall evaluate of the financial situation are utilized chosen bankruptcy and creditworthy models. Based on the obtained result it can be stated that the enterprise has no problems with the payment of its obligations. The funding is used mainly equity. Smaller drawing fund from foreign sources indicates a high financial independence of the company. Of the indicators of liquidity is found to be capable of undertaking the payment. Overall assessment of the financial situation is positive, the company is financially sound and will not bankrupt in future.

The diploma thesis is focused on estimation of financial standing of the company Lesostavby Frýdek-Místek, a. s. in the years 2003-2007. The financial standing is estimated by the methods of financial analysis. The key role is played by so-called elementary methods, mainly by absolute, difference, ratio indexes as well as site and bankruptcy models. Based on the situation assessed by the methods the scheme of improvement has been created for several following years.
