Parallel Solution of Systems of Linear Differential Equations
Humená, Patrícia ; Kunovský, Jiří (referee) ; Valenta, Václav (advisor)
Objective of this thesis is to familiarize with the numerical solution of linear systems of ordinary differential equations. This solution will be implemented by using a parallel implementation including thread synchronization.
Development of methods for analysys road safety barriers in terms of dynamic effects
Koudelka, Ivan ; Krejsa,, Martin (referee) ; prof. Ing. Alois Materna, CSc., MBA (referee) ; Salajka, Vlastislav (advisor)
The presented work analyses the methodology and approach of the legislation. It presents in the press presented results of numerical modelling of the impact of vehicles crashed into barriers that are being solved in the Czech Republic and worldwide. It presents a recommendation of a methodology for assessing crash barriers. The methodology follows the basic principles used in the TP 101 and EN 1991-1-1. The kinetic energy of the vehicle at the moment of impact is replaced with substitute static force, whose effects are comparable with those of a vehicle collision. The supporting structure of crash barriers is implemented in compliance with means of statics. The calculation includes the vehicle deformation, which represents the real distribution of the energy absorbed by the deformation of the vehicle and the energy that crash barriers need to absorb. The proposed methods allow to take into account non-linear behaviour of the structure both in terms of geometry and in terms of material nonlinearity. The work also deals with the interpretation of various types of support structures in the computational model. A specific case is used for a demonstration of a way of modelling the elastic supporting column of crash barriers in the soil, or modelling the friction of a loose concrete block over the surface. To ensure the proper position of interconnected loose blocks corresponding to the reality, a method of modelling the place of a possible contact of the breakthrough is drafted. A significant contribution to the more accurate calculation is achieved by sequential increase of the load on the construction by using load increment and measurement of energy increases absorbed by the deformation in each step. The presented methodology is an effective tool to assess crash barriers. For the application of this tool, using common resources and facilities available to almost every designer dealing with statics of structures is sufficient. In conclusion, the knowledge obtained fr
High Security Turnstile
Láznička, Petr ; Jonák, Martin (referee) ; Pokorný, Přemysl (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to propose design solutions both ways-through the turnstile with a high degree of security, in collaboration with the company named Cominfo a.s. Bachelor thesis will be focused on design solution of the turnstile. It should also perform strength check of pin-brake and check the electric motor if is powerful enough. The examination of the pin-brake will be supported by engineering calculations..
Access to Railway Platform for Wheelchair User
Šafář, Zdeněk ; Tomandl, Vladimír (referee) ; Svoboda, Richard (advisor)
The bachelor’s thesis focuses on wheelchair accessible survey at railway stations. It has been chosen a few different kind of stations which are marked as physically disabled accessible. Railway stations have been thoroughly visited, gauged and explored. The main intention was to solve these problems as an activity chain performed by people at railway stations. It means everything from passengers arrival, do all steps in a station building, to passengers access to platforms and after that getting on the train. Due to large extent of wheelchair accessible, this thesis has only focused on wheelchair users.

PECHAROVÁ, Aneta
The aim of this thesis is to analyze the actual tourism situation in region Kolín and another possibilities for it's development.
EU agreements with South Korea and Japan and their impact on the European market
Radová, Jana ; Hnát, Pavel (advisor) ; Neumann, Pavel (referee)
Master's thesis "EU agreements with South Korea and Japan and their impact on the European market" analyzes the impact of trade agreements between the European Union and South Korea and Japan on the EU industrial competitiveness. The impact is evaluated in terms of the development of trade flows with chemical, food, textile and automotive products and also in terms of the existence and reduction of non-tariff barriers. The study also includes trade balances developments between the respective countries. The results of the analysis showcase the overall positive impact of the agreement with South Korea on the EU industrial competitiveness and predict the impact of the agreement with Japan.
The influence of environment on leisure activities for people with disability movement.
BARTOŇOVÁ, Květoslava
This thesis addresses the influence of the environment on the passing of free time for physically disabled. The theoretical part concentrates on information about a physical disability, analyses and explains the terminology. Further, it focuses on the features, individual functions and factors of free time. In the practical part, I pay attention to qualitative study, mainly interviews regarding the origin of physical disability, its compensation, self-sufficiency, obstacles, which individuals have to overcome, social system and passing of free time. The findings were analysed and organised in tables. The main aim of the thesis was to ascertain the barriers that occur, point out the ones that aggravate and reduce the quality of life of individuals with physical disability in České Budějovice. In the practical part, I established these assumptions: 1. I have assumed that individuals with physical disability very intensively perceive the financial barrier in the framework of spending free time. 2. I have assumed that individuals with gained physical disability who were actively spending their free time, wish to continue. Both of the set assumptions, after detailed research and summarization of the available data were confirmed.
Alternative solutions to reduce the noise pollution propagated from the roads
NOVÁK, Michal
The work describes the problems of unwanted noise arised from the traffic on roads and designs its own alternative constructions for reducing noise from road traffic. The noise studies of South Bohemia Region in chosen part between Český Krumlov-Větřní are used as background. The work describes the acoustic conditions of the physical point of view, the properties of sound spreading along the roads in the area, explains the concepts of noise from traffic and noise emissions, enumerate the relevant standard requirements and criteria. On this theoretical base, there result input-output requirements necessary to implement measures to reduce noise. The work aims to propose and evaluate preliminarily a different type of noise barriers, as one of the measures to reduce noise from roads, compared with commonly used structures. To achieve the proposed objectives and to assess the possibility of using other combinations of materials, methods of connection and shape geometry of structures.

Trade Policy of Brazil
Kučírek, Josef ; Gullová, Soňa (advisor) ; Klosová, Anna (referee)
The thesis examines the trade policy of Brazil and its impact on the international position and trade of the country. Despite having come to the fore of interest of the whole world, both political and business, there are still numerous areas to be improved. The thesis evaluates trade policy tools used by the country to promote exports and limit imports, integration efforts in the region and in the world, and the effects of particular government provisions on the reality of the trade relations and results. The analysis points out structural and systemic failures together with deliberate barriers, such as high level of bureaucracy or complicated tax system. Although Brazil promotes free trade, its trade policy proved to be highly anti-import.
