The thesis includes research of history and current production of tram view of design, technologic solution and prospects. The next part contains design solution, which includes layout of interior, color and graphic solution with regard to technical solution and ergonomics requirements.
Effect of operating conditions on tram noise in real traffic
Lounek, Kryštof ; Galas, Radovan (referee) ; Valena, Martin (advisor)
The bachelor's thesis investigates the influence of weather conditions on the squeal noise produced by the contact of the wheel with the top of the rail. Weather conditions are defined here as humidity, air temperature and the presence of rain. The thesis also compares specific trams in terms of their propensity to produce squeal noise and the parameters of the noise produced. The data sets used in the analysis come from a one-month period from a stationary module located near the track curve in the Brno-Komín tram loop. The graphical dependencies, which are the result of the work, describe a decreasing tendency of the average noise level depending on the humidity and an increasing tendency of the average noise level depending on the temperature. They also show a significant reduction in the occurrence of squeal noise during rain. As far as the tram comparisons are concerned, tram no. 1713 produces the most squeal noise, in fact in 86% of the cases. It also has one of the highest values of all noise parameters. The results of this work can help to explain the variable behaviour of squeal noise and can also be used to identify specific noisy trams.
Integration of the tram line into the city structure
Škopková, Klára ; Plášek, Otto (referee) ; Valehrach, Jan (advisor)
Tram transport is an integral part of public transport in many cities. Its lines run through a variety of environments. The integration of tram line into the urban environment – urban structures – is the focus of this thesis. The aim of this thesis is to find out in several Czech and foreign cities how the tramway is integrated in different urban structures. And then, for the analysed cities, to identify and compare their approaches to tramway lines in different urban structures.
Equipment and Technical Design of Public Transport Stops
Ludvíková, Jana ; Ludvík, Matěj (referee) ; Valehrach, Jan (advisor)
This thesis deals with the topic of equipment and technical design of tram stops, which are one of the elements of personal transport in cities. The thesis was expanded about bus and trolleybus transport. A catalog of possible spatial lines of urban public transport, types of stops and their equipment was prepard. Part of this thesis is a questionnaire deailing with property relations and urban public transport stops realization in individual regions of the Czech Republic. Based on this informations, a procedure was developed for how the designer should approach the design of urban public transport stops.
Automotive neck injury indicators in relation to dummy - tram interaction
Ország, Artur ; Jelen, Karel (advisor) ; Tlapáková, Eva (referee)
Title: Automotive neck injury indicators in relation to dummy-tram interaction Objectives The aim of the work is to evaluate the performer crash tests between the dummy and the vehicle in terms of the thread of the health of the neck and to determine which type of tram creates the smallest risk of health of the neck (cervical spine) at the specified speeds. Methods: This diploma thesis is conducted in form of a pilot study. The first part of the work contains theoretical starting points regarding the discussed topic. The second part analyzes the results of the crash tests and answers the research questions and examines the given hypotheses. Results: The most dangerous, concerning the structure of the neck, were collisions in the highest speed - 20 km/h. The highest values and highest probability of injuries with AIS 2+ and 3+ value were measured in this speed. The type of tram that was most dangerous for the structure of the next were T3 and KT8 and the least dangerous was 15T. Keywords: Tram, tram transport, neck, neck injury, crash tests, injury criteria, neck structure
Brno lives on Veveří again
Nováková, Barbora ; Kaštánková, Jana (referee) ; Františák, Luboš (advisor)
Residential buildings in Brno on Veveří Street are designed with regard to the movement of people and natural pedestrian routes in the vicinity The shape and functionality of the residential complex is adapted to this. The spatial concept of the houses is designed to maximise the comfort of the residents. The main principles of the spatial layout include the minimisation of access corridors, the orientation of the apartments to the cardinal points and the possibility of cross ventilation of the apartments. At the same time, common areas are designed to be attractive to all residents. The ambition of the design is to refresh some of the proven principles of apartment building, particularly pavilion buildings, and the design emphasises the function of the entrance spaces to the units as a gathering place. In doing so, the intention is to enhance the quality of living and to create an environment in which residents can enjoy the communal areas and meet other residents and people from the surrounding area. I pay particular attention to creating spaces that will not only serve the tenants of the proposed building, but also the wider community of people. This proposal therefore includes a space that will be open to the surrounding residents, creating a public space that will contribute to the vibrancy of the urban environment. Amongst other things, the proposal allows the residents of the building to enjoy the courtyard, which is large enough to offer space for social activities, play and relaxation. This will allow each resident to find a suitable place for themselves and their interests in and around the house.
Tram Transport - Public Transportation Backbone
Kopecký, Vojtěch ; Všetečka, Martin (referee) ; Valehrach, Jan (advisor)
The work Tram transport as the backbone of public transport deals with the issue of tram transport as the main mode of transport in the city of Brno. Emphasis is placed on the history of the Brno system, including its connection with trolleybus transport. Furthermore, the current state of the Brno street railway and fast trams and their supplementation by trolleybus transport are described in detail, including the processing of socio-economic data that determine the system. In comparison with other cities in the Czech Republic, but also abroad, its positive and negative aspects are identified. Based on this information, the potential future development of the system is processed, especially the construction of new lines and the improvement of existing tracks.
Traumatic consequences of pedestrian - tram interaction and specifics in the case of child - pedestrians
Belková, Natália ; Jelen, Karel (advisor) ; Tlapáková, Eva (referee)
Title: Traumatic consequences of pedestrian-tram interaction and specifics in the case of child-pedestrians Objectives: The aim of the paper is to analyze the issue of pedestrian-tram traffic accidents in respect of injury consequences, based on available literary sources in accordance with the selection criteria. Special attention is paid to where such accidents involve children. The work is part of the grant ANALYSIS OF ACCIDENT EVENTS CHODEC TRAMVAJ. It aims to evaluate the occurrence, type and nature of injuries where collisions have taken place between pedestrians and trams. Methods: The thesis is produced on the basis of literary research. Due to the breadth of the interdisciplinary nature of the issue, literary sources were searched in the NCBI, Sciencedirect, Springerlink, Researchgate, PubMed databases. The first part of the thesis contains a theoretical introduction to the issue of tram transport and the definition of basic concepts, injuries of individual parts of the locomotor system and accident mechanisms in terms of biomechanics. The second part has a descriptive-analytical nature and contains an analysis of individual studies that deal with the health of a pedestrian/child accident, in relation to a tram. Results: At the end of the search, 64 studies met the selection criteria. Six...
Tram Extension in Řečkovice
Tomašov, Filip ; Šamánková, Zdeňka (referee) ; Všetečka, Martin (advisor)
