Environmentally Advanced Library
Burýšková, Jana ; Vyhlídalová, Karolína (referee) ; Horák, Petr (advisor)
The main aim of the Master‘s project is to design a library and a cafe in Příbram. The project is divided into three parts. The first part deals with architectural and structural design. The second with technical building services and the third with thermal imaging. The building has a basement and two above-ground floors. The building is founded on foundation strips. The building is designed with load-bearing brick walls and pre-stressed slabs Spiroll. The roof is a flat intensive green roof. The building envelope is insulated with mineral wool. In the building there is air a conditioning and a cooling system. As a heat source, a pressure-independent heat exchanger unit connected to the local hot water pipe will be used. A part of the electricity consumption is covered by photovoltaics. In the third part there are images from a thermal camera for some libraries. Imagines were evaluated if there are thermal bridges in the measured libraries. The project was carried out in the AutoCAD programme.
Detekce onemocnění paznehtů dojnic pomocí infračervené termografie
KLÍMA, Denis
The diploma thesis is focused on the use of modern technologies, specifically infrared thermography in dairy farming. The work primarily focuses on the detection of hoof diseases of dairy cows, their early diagnosis and the initiation of adequate treatment. The methodology evaluates the potential and usefulness of infrared thermography as a noninvasive tool for rapid examination of the most common diseases of dairy cows, especially in the hoof area. Also the work primarily focuses on digital dermatitis, which is the most extensive in this area. The weakness of cattle, especially dairy cows, is a worldwide problem and lameness is one of the most common causes of dairy cows being weaned. Hoof problems and diseases have a negative impact on animal health and welfare, which can affect farms. Prevention and early diagnosis of lameness should prevent the development of the disease and the consequent high costs of treatment. The literature section describes the most common causes of infectious and noninfectious diseases, prevention and diagnosis by infrared thermography (thermal imaging). Susceptibility to the disease is primarily affected by the quality of the horn. The quality of the horn is affected by internal and external conditions, such as hygiene, nutrition, hormonal changes during calving and lactation, the age of the animal or genetic predisposition. The next part of this review summarizes the basic principles and possibilities of using infrared thermography in the early detection of disease in dairy cows.
Diagnostika motorových vozidel pomocí termokamery
BÜRGER, Jan
The bachelor's thesis dealt with the use of a thermal camera in car diagnostics. The thermal imager measured the components on three cars and diagnosed them accord-ing to the procedures described in the work methodology and compared them with the expected values. A total of five measurements were made. The glow plugs on the diesel engine, the two-zone air conditioning, the chassis, the brakes, and the injection in the indi-vidual cylinders of the petrol engine was checked. The results show that a thermal imager can be helpful in some cases. Specifical-ly, the thermal imaging can be used for glow plug control, dual-zone air condition-ing, chassis, and injection control.
Selected algorithms for detecting objects in the image and their use in guilding the robotic arm
ŠTINDLOVÁ, Lucie
This research work is focused on the detection of searched places in the image using selected algorithms. The work shows how closely physics is connected with informatics. In addition to the connection of these two areas, the work deals with the explanation of issues related to the fields. First of all, the algorithm is defned as such, as it is one of the key concepts in this work. Furthermore, the work characterizes the image and working with it not only from a cybernetic point of view, but also from a physical point of view. In this case, physical areas examining and describing electromagnetic radiation are expanded to better understand the image. Given that one of the final algorithms is practiced on the image from the thermal camera, the principle of the thermal camera function is generally explained in the work. Attention is also paid to neural networks (artificial intelligence) and the robotic arm. Several areas are mentioned in which this physical-cybernetic system is used. The practical part deals with the Python programming language, in which the basic algorithms are used, which can be used to detect an object in the image. Based on these and similar algorithms, which I would like to elaborate in more depth in the diploma thesis, the robotic arm will be guided.
Využití termokamery při monitoringu onemocnění paznehtů
DUDÁK, Pavel
The diploma thesis is focused on the use of modern technologies in limb diseases in herds of high-yielding dairy cows. The main goal of the diploma thesis is to verify the reliability of hoof disease detection in dairy cows using a thermal camera. By early detection of a change in the health of the hoof, it is possible to start treatment immediately. This reduces costs to treat and reduce milk production losses.
Vliv vegetace na teplotní režim městského prostředí
SEDLÁČEK, Jan
This thesis is aimed at the influence of vegetation on temperature in urban areas. In order to research this influence, a thermal camera was used to measure surface temperature in a number of places in České Budějovice. The results show that vegetation not only reduces thermal amplitudes, but also influences the temperature of surrounding surfaces (up to a few metres). Lower temperatures compared with conventional surfaces were reached during the summer days not only by trees, but also by less common green structures, such as ornamental plants or a green roof and wall. According to the results, some suggestions were brought in order to increase the effectivity of green infrastructure and to reduce the Urban Heat Island effect.
Working of radiators
Mašek, Miroslav ; Horká, Lucie (referee) ; Počinková, Marcela (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the operation of radiators. It is divided into three parts. The first part describes the various types of radiators and heating surfaces, radiator control and heat measurement, the second part deals with the design of heating and hot water in an apartment building in Brno in two variants of the conceptual solution and the third part is processed in the form of experimental measurements issues of radiator operation during a real day in the heating season and operating conditions that may occur.
Thermal Imaging System for Measuring Body Temperature
Mysza, Róbert ; Kolář, Dušan (referee) ; Goldmann, Tomáš (advisor)
The COVID-19 pandemic brought increased need for measuring human temperature. This thesis deals with solution of using low-cost thermal camera module FLIR Lepton 3.5 for measuring human forehead temperature and examines the real usability of this in terms of an accuracy. In the beginning, I describe various methods of measuring temperature and factors, which can influence the measurement. Subsequently, I examine various factors influencing human body and surface temperature. As of result of thesis is full design and implementation of thermal image system for temperature measurement, which I tested in different environmental conditions and compared its the precision against medical contactless infrared thermometer.
Short Distance Thermal Camera For Overheat Detection
Radvanský, Martin
During the development or repairing of electronic devices, we often meet problems with overheated components on the printed circuit board. For identification of overheating components, we usually use a thermal camera. The main aim of this project is to develop an inexpensive thermal camera for hobby usage.
Thermal camera for biological applications
Ten zahrnuje vývoj IP jader, kernel modulů a C++ knihoven.
