Wireles Flying Object Telemetry
Bednář, Martin ; Šimek, Václav (referee) ; Růžička, Richard (advisor)
This paper is engaged in specification, design and implementation of a telemetry module for flying object. Specifically, it focuses on the selection of the appropriate carrier frequency of the integrated circuit providing bidirectional communication to a sufficient distance and design of the protocol used in the transmission. Furthermore, the document focuses on the design of communication modules using these integrated circuits, altimeter sensor module, module to control the actuators and design of the application for mobile phones used to display the measured data. With regard to legislative and technical options, I chose a carrier frequency of 2.4 GHz. For this frequency is commercially available integrated circuit CC2511, which in cooperation with integrated circuit CC2591 should be able to provide telemetry range about 2 km. I chose BMP085 sensor for altitude measuring. It is communicating over I2C bus as well as a module for controlling the actuator, which uses a microcontroller ATMEGA48-20AU. The mobile phone communicates with the ground station via the USB bus.
Microelectronic Wireless Networks for Telemetry and Buildings Automation
Šulc, Vladimír ; Sýkora, Jiří (referee) ; Zeman, Václav (referee) ; Kuchta, Radek (advisor)
The thesis deals with a microelectronic wireless networks for telemetry and building automation in terms of energy consumption related to the communication in wireless networks. Assumption, mesh topology is optimal topology for wireless networks for telemetry and building automation, was proven and relation between energy consumption and devices management was shown and functional abstraction related to the energy consumption was described. Several advanced techniques and solutions on physical and network layers were proposed to increase network reliability and decrease power consumption. Proposed techniques can be easily implemented.
Decentralized sensing of production machine quantities
Vitoslavský, Ondřej ; Husák, Michal (referee) ; Bradáč, Zdeněk (advisor)
The work deals with the design and implementation of a decentralized system for sensing various quantities on production machines using Bluetooth mesh wireless communication. The data concentrator located in the network will enable data collection from measuring units and subsequent forwarding to the cloud storage for analysis and long-term monitoring.
Monitoring system for model airplane
Belloň, Michal ; Dřínovský, Jiří (referee) ; Růžek, Václav (advisor)
This projekt is focused on wireless transfer of informations from air model to modeller during the flight. These informations will be displayed on LCD placed near controller of model. Project includes theoretical design of device, choosing suitable components, circuit diagram, PCB and photos of realized device.
Technology of Receiving of Very Weak Signals from Interplanetary Spacecrafts
Špaček, Jiří ; Bezoušek, Pavel (referee) ; Kovář, Pavel (referee) ; Kasal, Miroslav (advisor)
The work deals with the problematics of receiving very weak radio signals and it is focused especially on systems for low rate telemetry with carrier-subcarrier modulation. The part of this work is dedicated to calculation the link budget of typicall telemetry data transmission system between the Mars and the Earth in respect of the receiving equipment, which could be developed in the Experimental sattelites laboratory on the Institute of radio electronics BUT. The main part of this work is dedicated to developing and testing the low rate telemetry data transmission system model. The model is developed for the purpose of study the effects of AWGN and phase noise on the whole system and also on its component parts. The model has been developed and described in the way of easy parameters modification. The design for each parameter of the model is described carefully. With the developed model, the study of the effects of AWGN and phase noise on the whole system and also on its component parts has been performed.
Satellite Telemetry Archive
Vorálek, Jan ; Povalač, Aleš (referee) ; Urbanec, Tomáš (advisor)
This thesis deals with a design of telemetry archive of PSAT, PSAT-2 and BRICSat sattelites. This telemetry data need to be extracted from SDR IQ records. The thesis contains a Doppler effect theory and description of structure of telemetry data. Then it presents a design of a program for Doppler effect correction, demodulation and decoding of these records and saving the data to telemetry archive. Thesis also deals with analysis of decoded data.
Migration of telemetric narrowband radio networks to the IP standard
Stupka, Richard ; Lattenberg, Ivo (referee) ; Maršálek, Roman (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals with the innovation of narrowband telemetry radio networks to the IP standard. This involves the modernization of old radio data networks that do not use the IP standard or are nearing the end of their life cycle. Renovation has a great benefit in terms of performance, reliability, and security. This modernization is achieved through migration, which means upgrading the old technologies to new ones. The objective of this thesis was to develop theoretical analysis and a technical procedure for network migration. It was deals with the currently used technologies and utilized components, parameters of individual network nodes, the actual design of the migration technical solution and network preparation. After the analysis and technical solution for migration had been performed, the proposed migration solution through simulated operation in a laboratory environment was verified. Based on the obtained information, configuration files for real-world usage were created, radio signal coverage in the field was verified and the communication capability in the newly built RipEx2 network was tested.
Time-space activity of Mink (Lutreola vison L.) based on telemetry research in Českomoravká vrchovina (Havlíčkobrodsko).
BARTÁKOVÁ, Daniela
The aim of this study was to obtain information about telemetric monitoring of two adult males of mink (Mustela vison) in the western part of Bohemo-Moravian Highlands. The aim of telemetry was to obtain informations about mink{\crq}s environment and to get basic informations of his lifestyle in this region. Telemetry was doing from 2004 (two months) and in 2005 by AOPK Havlíčkův Brod.
Graphics Interface for Data Telemetry of "Formula Student"
Martiček, Juraj ; Milet, Tomáš (referee) ; Zemčík, Pavel (advisor)
Thesis focuses on creation of complete telemetric system for data collection and tuning of a racing car in Formula Student competition. This system consists of graphical user interface, which is wirelessly connected to device installed on a racing car. Telemetry provides live data view coupled with recording features. Graphical user interface provides tools for data analysis to be used for development, testing, and even racing of a formula made by the Formula Student team.
