Corporate Performance Management (CPM) in business organizations

Corporate Performance Management (CPM) is currently one of the most developing branches of informatics due to the fact that it is a tool that allows managers to effectively manage their company and thereby increase its competitiveness in the market. This thesis focuses on the individual elements of the CPM, particularly on the managerial methods, metrics and business processes, which are generally characterized first and then applied to business organizations that operate in the area of retailing. There is also a fourth CPM element - CPM applications, but a detailed description is not covered by this work. The aim of this thesis is mainly to define the basic (core) processes in retailing and describe their characteristics using informatics approaches. Each process is then assigned to managerial methods that can be used in evaluating the performance of these processes and to specific examples of metrics for which appropriate dimensions are further defined. The main contribution of this work is the analysis of processes in the retailing industry, using methods and approaches used in informatics - characteristics such as purpose of the process, events that trigger the process, inputs and outputs of the process and metrics, which are assigned to the corresponding dimensions, are defined for each process.
Influence of foreign direct investments on Czech retail market

This diploma thesis is dealing with the Czech retail market and an influence of foreign direct investment on it. The thesis is divided into five parts. First two chapters are focused on the theoretical definition of the foreign direct investment, trade as well and the tendencies in the international business in the 21st century. Third and fourth chapters are dealing with the inflow of the foreign direct investment into Czech Republic or with the status of the trade in the Czech economy. Fifth part is devoted to the Czech retail market -- its performance and evolution since 1989. In this chapter is also exercised comparison of the foreign and domestic enterprises in their productivity and performance.
Application of marketing instruments in the retail subject Gastro

The aim of my bachelor thesis is to evaluate the current use of marketing instrumensts in the retail subject Gastro and propose such measures to increase revenues and profits and raise the competitiveness of firms. I had two conducted marketing research. One was designed for customers and other was designed consumers (potential customers) Gastro stores. Based on the collected data and information obtained by observation and interviews with business owners I have suggested measures concerning snacks for schoolchildren, the measure I am economically evaluated.
Innovation in retailing

The aim of this thesis is to explore innovations in retailing to the foreign market and then propose the concept of recommendations for use in the Czech market. Specifically, I therefore use of secondary data from international websites www.springwise.com collected 20 innovations from around the world, I worked in the case studies. In conclusion, I created a table which shows that innovation is a comprehensive view of the best and I'm here specifically described. I also used the survey research on e-script, which I created design concept

First of all I have focused on introducing Vietnam and its economical developmnet. Secondly I have subcrised the level of retail in Vietnam and I have come to the conclusion that Vietnam is an atractive country for the retail investment. Finally I have mention my own experience with shopping in that country.
The role of public administration and municipal governments in solving retail availibility

The thesis analyses the capabilities and tools public administration and local governments have for influencing retail availibility. It confronts these possibilites with the policies of market entities engaged in retailing. A broad range of possible interactions between the public sector and market is documented on particular experiences. These examples also show the changes in the trends and structure of retail availability in the Czech republic.

Bachelor thesis deals with the trade strategy of retailing company Globus on the Czech market. The thesis is divided into three chapters. First chapter is devoted to the presentation of the company Globus and its position on the Czech market. Second one deals with company's marketing strategy. Third chapter is practical part of the work and the chapter presents the results of the market research in two Globus stores. The main goal of the work is to describe specific approach of the company Globus to the Czech market. The conclusion of the work is that firm Globus thanks its trade policy has a great chance to success in the strong competition on the Czech market.
Development Trends in Retailing - Shelf Ready Packaging

This thesis focuses on a progressive packaging technique in retailing which is called Shelf Ready Packaging (SRP). It is concerned with a discussion of characteristics and potential of this method and brings views of key interested parties. Several types of Shelf Ready Packaging are described and their main advantages and disadvantages are analysed. In the thesis there is briefly explained the implementation process of the technology in a supplying firm. Attention is also paid to the role of logistics in retailing and its current trends.

Za téma své bakalářské práce jsem si zvolila maloobchod (retailing) v Peru. Cílem mé bakalářské práce je popsat maloobchod především v hlavním městě Peru, Limě. Toto téma jsem si vybrala, protože jsem v Limě 13 měsíců žila a mohu tak subjektivně popsat Peruánské maloobchodní prostředí.
