Calculation of transformer cooling
Hetflajš, Martin ; Cipín, Radoslav (referee) ; Janda, Marcel (advisor)
This master´s thesis deals with influence of forced air flow from the ventilators on the power transformer cooling. For this analysis was used simulation software ANSYS CFX, that uses the finite volume method for calculations of dynamic properties of liquids. In the introduction of the thesis is presented the basic terminology of fluid flow, temperature fields and theory of transformers. The simulation is divided to the analysis of flow through the left and right radiator models.

Paszek, Michal ; Hájek, Vítězslav (referee) ; Janda, Marcel (advisor)
In this Master´s thesis will be performed an analysis of thermal properties of synchronous machines in the program Ansys Workbench on a simplified model of synchronous traction motor. In the first section will be performed thermal analysis without cooling followed by analysis of air flow and finally thermal analysis with cooling for fan speed 1500 min-1 and 3000 min-1. The second section will describe the principle, construction and losses on the synchronous machine. The third chapter will describe concepts such as heat, temperature, heat transfer, types of the heat transfer, specific heat capacity, emisivity and thermal conductivity. The fourth chapter will introduce the program Ansys Workbench, finite element method and Ansys CFX. In the fifth chapter will be described how to perform thermal analysis on the created model of motor. The sixth chapter will describe how to analyze the air flow of the created model of motor. The flow analysis will be performed for fan speed 1500 min-1 and 3000 min-1. In the seventh chapter will be compared the results of the air flow and pressure field in the motor model. In the eighth chapter will be performed a thermal analyzis on the created motor model with cooling for fan speed 1500 min-1 and 3000 min-1. The nineth chapter will compare the results of temperatures and heat fluxes obtained from the thermal analysis witnout cooling, with cooling for fan speed 1500 min-1 and 3000 min-1 for full losses, half losses of continous running, and full losses of interrupt running for 9000 seconds (2 hours 30 minutes).
Thermal Calculations of Permanent Magnet Motors in High Current Technology
Deeb, Ramia ; Singule, Vladislav (referee) ; Duroň,, Jiří (referee) ; Aubrecht, Vladimír (advisor)
Práce se zabývá výpočty magnetických a tepelných vlastností servomotoru s permanentními magnety (motor M718 I vyráběný firmou VUES s.r.o. v Brně). U 3D modelu v programu ANSOFT byly vypočítány i Joulovy ztráty. Podstatná část práce vznikla za podpory Centra výzkumu a využití obnovitelných zdrojů energie a výzkumných projektů CZ.1.05/2.1.00/01.0014 and FEKT S-11-9.
Design Study of Triflux Cylinder Head for SI Engine
Provazníková, Martina ; Rasch, František (referee) ; Svída, David (advisor)
This diploma thesis concern with substance and possibilities of contemporary computational fluid dynamics or CFD. Further it engages in design of intake ports of triflux cylinder head on the basis of cylinder head of Škoda 1,2 HTP that was digitized by 3D scanner. After design of standard intake ports and triflux system’s intake ports is maden simulation of flow through these intake ports with the assistance of CFD program.
Design of heating of primary school
Pánková, Pavlína ; Vyhlídalová, Karolína (referee) ; Horká, Lucie (advisor)
The goal of this master's thesis is to design the heating system for the existing building of an elementary School. The thesis is divided into three parts. In the first theoretical part, I discusses heat transfer methods, the influence of covers on heating elements, and the determination of radiant and convective power components. The second part solves the heating system's design in three heat source variants. The first option comprises six heat pumps. The second option includes a combination of direct evaporation for air handling units and heating using heat pumps. The third option involves the installation of gas condensing boilers. At the end of the second part, a technical report is written and drawing documentation is attached. The last third part is dedicated to the experimental measurement, in which the effect of the front plate on the performance of the heating element was ensured.
Formula Student Car Aerodynamic Analysis
Koňařík, Josef ; Svída, David (referee) ; Vančura, Jan (advisor)
The aim of thesis is to devise the body due to the current model in the 3D software ProEngineer and given by current Formula Student competition rules. Subsequently, the model will be created for the purposes of CFD software for numerical analysis of aerodynamics. Based on this analysis, the simulation will be obtained with the coefficient of air and axles load.

Relevance of the hydrostatic and hydrodynamic paradox
Vacula, Jiří ; Haluza, Miloslav (referee) ; Fialová, Simona (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis is concerned with the explanation of the hydrostatic and hydrodynamic paradox existence. Above all hydrostatic paradox is not in general properly explained which causes additional puzzle. Therefore the aim of this thesis is to find real reasons of these effects and in addition to check up possible consequences of liquid compressibility.

The subject of research were effect of elevated water level in the downstream apron on the weir flow capacity and load characteristics of the flap gate. The thesis is focused on possibilities of physical and CFD modeling of flap gate weir flow. In the introduction are contained current condition of knowledge, perfomed model studies conducted in the Czech republic and abroad, as well as flap weirs realized in our country and in the world. This is followed by experimental physical research on family of weir structure models in scales 1:1 (prototype), 1:2 and 1:2.5. Options CFD simulations a flap gate weir are contained in chapter of CFD modeling. In conclusion are compared physical methods with CFD simulations on flap gate weir.
