Author: Andrea Kohútová Title: A case Study of Physiotherapy Treatment Concerning a Patient with Transfemoral Amputation Objectives: The main goal of this bachelor thesis is to create a case study of physiotherapy treatment concerning a patient with transfemoral amputation and to summarize the theoretical knowledge base corresponding with this diagnosis, its causes and possibilities of rehabilitation treatment. Methods: This bachelor thesis is split into two parts, a theoretical one and a practical one. The main focus of the theoretical part is to establish a brief summary of the anatomy and kinesiology of the lower limb, the theoretical information about amputation and their etiology, the operation techniques and after-surgery complications. It also contains some general findings about lower limb ischemic disease. The first part focuses on the problematics concerning orthopedic prosthetics, subsequent rehabilitation care and physiotherapeutic methods. The second part contains a detailed case study of physiotherapy treatment concerning a patient with transfemoral amputation. Author: Eliška Němečková Title: Case Study of Physiotherapy Treatment of a Patient with Unilateral Transfemoral Amputation Objectives: Aim of this bachelor thesis is summary of theoretical knowledge about lower limb amputations and diabetes mellitus and processing of case report of patient after transfemoral amputation due to diabetes mellitus. Methods: This thesis consists of two main parts. The first part is devoted to summary of theoretical knowledge about diabetes mellitus, including general information about this chronical disease, its complications and treatment. It also contains summary of basic information about amputations, rehabilitation after lower limb amputation and prosthetic possibilities. The second part is practical and it is a detailed case report of physiotherapy treatment of patient after transfemoral amputation. It contains detailed complex kinesiology examination, itemization of individual therapeutic units and final evaluation of therapy effect. The case report has been prepared on the basis of practice in the rehabilitation center Vršovická zdravotní a.s. in the period from 14th January to 8th February 2019. 5 Abstrakt: Cílem této bakalářské práce je u vybraných jedinců s jednostrannou transfemorální amputací analyzovat možnosti ovlivnění zaměstnání. Práce byla vedena jako pilotní sociologický průzkum a empirická rešerše. Z hlediska metodologického jde o sběr dat formou řízeného rozhovoru. V teoretické části se zabývá empirickými studiemi a definicemi amputací, protetiky a pracovní legislativy. Výzkum je zaměřen na kvalitu návratu do zaměstnání, dobu od amputace, přizpůsobení pracoviště, aspekty přispívající k lepšímu návratu, dopad na kvalitu práce z fyzického i psychického hlediska. Zdali jde o stejný post, nebo o změnu pracovního zařazení, popř. změna zaměstnání aj. Klíčová slova: protetika, dolní končetina, amputace, pracovní uplatnění tělesně postižených. Title: Metofology of gait school of a patient with transfemoral amputation Objectives: The main objective of this thesis is to give a comprehensive overview of methodology of the gait school from the prosthetic and rehabilitation care perspective of patient with transfemoral amputation. Methods: A qualitative research was used together with method of data collection, informal interview with an expert and observation of therapy. Results: The methodology of gait school is necessary for proper use and wearing prosthetic device. It positively influences the life of a patient with a transfemoral amputation. in conclusion of this thesis is proven the crucial importance of early starting with the methodology of gait school as soon as possible is important for quickly return to normal life. The main point is to elaborate the summary of metallic materials and their mutual comparision in the terms of properties and individual application. For the clearly understand, there has to be defined a biocompatibility which along with mechanical properties serves for categorizing materials capable of application in the form of dental prosthesis. Title: Interdisciplinary metrology in the field prosthetist - orthotist Objectives: The main objective of this work is to give a comprehensive overview of the available and used methods of measurement tools used within the field orthotist - prosthetist with regard to interdisciplinary cooperation mostly with doctors and physiotherapists. Method: The work was developed using the method of qualitative data collection of research articles, literature and oral information obtained from experts in the field, which was subsequently traced in written form, so everything was underpinned by relevant literature. Result: In the field orthotist - prosthetist there is a large and diverse range of measurements with various devices on which it is produced by an orthotic, prosthetic or calceotic device. Measurements must be performed as accurately as possible, always with respect to the used product and to a patient who will use the product. What is important is cooperation with doctors when taking radiographs especially when making the torso braces or corrective braces for limbs.
