Specifics of the internationalization process of agricultural micro-enterprises in terms of risks and barriers

The main aim of the diploma thesis is to identify the risks and barriers of the internationalization process of Czech micro-enterprises in agrarian industry. The theoretical part deals with internationalization and globalization, small, medium and micro businesses, motivators, risks and barriers related to foreign market. The second part is devoted to analysis of the current situation of small, medium and micro-entities in the Czech Republic. The factors of motivation, barriers and risks of internationalization of chosen enterprises are described based on results of in-depth interview by author. The data is compared with results from different sectors and surveys. Furthermore, there are proposals which lead to elimination of problematic factors

The thesis focuses on the role of small and medium enterprises in the development of rural region, namely in the area of the town of Havlíčkův Brod. An analysis of the structure of small and medium enterprises in the selected rural region has been carried out. In addition, the way of the small and medium enterprises engagement in development of the town is defined. On basis of an analysis of primary and se-condary data, recommendations on how the support in development of rural areas in relation to small and medium enterprises should be oriented are put forward.
Uplatnění konceptu společenské odpovědnosti v malých a středních podnicích

This diploma thesis disserts on the application of the concept of corporate social responsibility (CSR) in small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). The first part of the thesis starts with the evaluation of current trends and attitudes to social responsibility, it distinguishes the CSR concept, its historical evolution, the fields, dimensions and characteristics of the concept and it discusses its application, evaluation and report. Following the use of theoretical knowledge a set of questions for the application of CSR in SMEs primary research analysis is proposed. This diploma thesis, in practical part, evaluates general opinions about CSR in SMEs, it estimates the level of perception of attitudes to demonstrations, motives, barriers and stakeholders SMEs when using CSR and it evaluates realized responsible activity MSP. Subsequently evaluates the perception of the factors influencing the CSR concept level and realized SMEs responsible activity using composite indicators. At the base of analysis results we formulate the recommendations for the support of implementation of CSR in SMEs.

The aim of this master's thesis is to created a business plan for a new project in area of retro furnishings. The thesis consists of two sections. The first being a theoretical part contains general principles and recommendations for compiling a business plan, deals with its structure and analyzes the individual points.In the practical part is created a business plan for the project. The structure and concent is based on the theoretical part. Among other things, the plan is focused mainly on the target market, marketing stratégy and financial plan. Main user of the business plan is the author of the thesis, which it will use for the project.
Accounting data for users information support

This thesis deals with the use of accounting data for information support of small and medium-sized enterprises users. This thesis covers not only technical and procedural aspects of reporting. The first part of the thesis provides broader insight into SME and their limitation factors, future development of accounting and accounting profession and also insight into data presentation. In the second part there are examples of statements, which could be part of specific accounting systems for SME and could be used by internal users.
The potencial for small and medium enterprises: OP PIK

Both the European Union and the Czech Republic support small and medium enterprises as an important leverage point for increasing competitiveness, employment and added value through European funds and programs. Thus, the thesis analyzes key changes between OP PI from the 2007-2013 financial framework with its successor OP PIK and the implications for small and medium enterprises in the Czech Republic. Besides that is the main goal of this thesis to understand the underlying motivation of SMEs when applying for a financial aid from European funds. The research identifies key changes, such as changes in the priority axes, increase in budget, and decrease in maximum public support or single methodical environment. Based on the literature research, case studies with successful applicants for European grants and subsidies and interviews with consultants and governmental experts, the thesis defines key challenges and issues for SMEs when applying for financial support such as excessive bureaucracy, user experience with a new monitoring system, ever changing requirements for applications or governmental preferences on price the over the quality standards when assessing an application. The thesis recommends following key factors - thorough business plan, detail-oriented preparations for applications and dedicated project management - mentioned by the analyzed companies to successfully receive a subsidy from the European funds.

It defines the main differences in financial statements and accounting procedures for tangible fixed assets.
Financing of small and medium size enterprizes with use of factoring

The main goal of the thesis is to assess factoring as a tool for small and medium size enterprises financing. Factoring offers receivables management, securing of debtors risk and support of national and international trade. The target is to sum up theoretical approaches in Czech as well as international literature and connect them with practice knowledge and experience that the author have learned during expert experience. Factoring was successfully offered in course of bad economic times during worldwide recession mainly to due easy availability in the markets. Financing via factoring expresses lower risk for financing party, due to transaction risk spread being on the more debtors. In contrast, there is higher demand on administration of every single invoice of company to its debtors. This logically brings higher cost of manpower on the financing party site that has to deal with high proportion of invoices. The thesis is divided into five parts. First parts is taking care about state and private trade supporting tools including Czech Export Bank and its role in creating space for national exporters. Second part deals with forms, in which small and medium size enterprise can find the suitable financial tools and products. Receivables and its main features, receivables live cycle and tools for effective use of receivable in asset based financing, that is all proceeded in part with number three. Whereas chapter four analyze current latest experience with factoring, its forms and way of use including legal and accountancy view. Fifth chapter summarizes theoretical background and uses the application of theory in practice and presents examples, how factoring can help. The thesis found out, that factoring is a suitable financing tool in times of economic crisis and general downturn. The number of factoring transaction grew, as well as the total turnover, but average transaction price went down due to lower cost of traded goods, that was financed via factoring. Thesis also proved that factoring financing is easy to get in the market, as there is large scale of big and small factoring financing providers. Factoring did not improve all significant financial ratios, but increased turnover of assets, mainly receivables, decreased the ratio of indebtedness. Thesis introduced the factoring financing, its use, forms and pros as well as cons. Factoring provided to be sufficient substitute for conventional credit, but bears differences, that have to be taken into account, when deciding on suitable form of receivable financing.

The main goal of this master thesis is to introduce the reader to the "SIESTA café e vino" business plan that will be profitable and attractive when put in place. The thesis is divided into two sections, theoretical and practical. Theoretical part presents necessary information for the beginning entrepreneur and describes the structure of the business plan. Practical part is based on the theoretical part and contains actual business plan of the café. It also elaborates analysis of market environment, competitors, customers, financial plan, SWOT analysis and risk analysis. The practical part concludes overall assessment and evaluates real feasibility of this project.
Analysis of supply of ERP systems for small and medium businesses delivered by SaaS in the Czech Republic

The aim of this work is the issue of Enterprise Resource Planning offered by way of Systems as a service and the suitability of this implementation for small and medium enterprises. Theoretical part describes the genesis and development of Enterprise Resource Planning, their functionality and purpose. There's also specified the term Cloud computing, its principles, advantages and disadvantages and options of distribution. One of the principles of the distribution, System as a Service is described in detail, including the necessary Service-level agreement, and its capabilities in providing Enterprise Resource Planning. The practical part of the work consists of developing a comprehensive overview of the Czech market of Enterprise Resource Planning offered in the form of rent System as a Service. This list is analyzed from the perspective of a key customer for this product, namely Small and medium enterprises. The last part of this work consists of obtaining customer references and supplier experiences from already realized projects.
