Additional Treatment of Drinking Water at the Point of Consumption
Hrubý, Ladislav ; Biela, Renata (referee) ; Kučera, Tomáš (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals with problem of pollution in drinking water during its transport towards consumers. It particularly deals issues with heavy metals such as lead, copper and sums up methods which can be used when trying to remove such metals at water connections or taps. Next, particular filter materials are described together with processes that happen during filtration. Finally, a short experiment has been performed for finding out the most appropriate filter material.
Airconditioning in healthcare facilities
Růžička, Věroslav ; Jelínek, Ondřej (referee) ; Rubina, Aleš (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with design of air conditioning equipment serving the spaces of hospital inpatient ward and its associated facilities. Equipments designed in the computational part have the task to transport adapted fresh air to hospital premises. The system is devided into two units. Primary mechanism operates bedrooms and their sanitary facilities. Secondary mechanism operates associated facilities. Both mechanisms are designed so that hot air can ventilate in winter. To cover the heat load in summer, fancoil units are designed. Device number one is also able to manage the treatment of humidity. The theoretical part of the thesis focuses on air filters and filtration of atmospheric air.
Design of audio power amplifier with Bluetooth connectivity
Bartoň, Jan ; Šotner, Roman (referee) ; Brančík, Lubomír (advisor)
This bachelor‘s thesis deals with the task of designing an audio amplifier, operating in class D, with a nominal output power of 2 x 80 W with Bluetooth connectivity, supplemented by an equalizer and a state display. A power supply and a user interface are designed as well. At first, research regarding audio amplifiers is made, followed by a more thorough description of class D operating principles. Afterwards the actual synthesis of the desired amplifier is presented, followed by the power supply design procedure. The correctness of the synthesis is later verified by simulations in PSpice and LTSpice. Theoretical design is then practically built, and its parameters are confronted with expected values by measurements.
Properties of ceramics foam filters needed for numerical simulation software
Boček, Vítězslav ; Láník, Boris (referee) ; Záděra, Antonín (advisor)
Final thesis, elaborated within the master study field of Foundry technology, deals with determination of some parameters of ceramic foam filters that are necessary for using numerical simulation during foundry practice. Thesis foccuses on defining methodology, manufacturing messuring device and measuring pressure drop on several type sof ceramic foam filters in dependence on flow rate of measuring medium. Measuring medium selected is water, mening this thesis deals also with water simulation in foundry technology.
Use of digital accelerometers in Linet bed controls
Dvořák, Ferdinand ; Sekora, Jiří (referee) ; Kolářová, Jana (advisor)
The subject of this bachelor thesis is a design of methods for accelerometer usage in medical bed controllers in order to eliminate the activation button. In the introduction the Linet company is presented and the issue of legislation and safety of controling the medical beds is briefly discussed. This part is followed by a theoretical chapter considering MEMS technology and accelerometers. The metodology of reference and simulative signals acquisition is designed. These signals are then analysed. In following chapters the particular methods of solutions are presented. The comparison of the presented methods and the final summary of the thesis is included in the conclusion.
Advanced Filtering of Digital Evidence
Chudáček, Ondřej ; Dzurenda, Petr (referee) ; Malina, Lukáš (advisor)
This thesis focuses on the implementation of advanced filtering of digital evidence stored on an open source cloud storage NextCloud. The contents of the thesis are law analysis regarding the storage of digital evidence in NextCloud, design of NextCloud, homomorphic encryption and its possible usages, attribute based searchable encryption and its usages and implementation of a simple stand-alone filtration client. Experts on digital evidence were asked about the choice of filtration criteria as a part of the thesis. The key feature of the thesis is a description of implementation of filtration inside NextCloud which has been extended to contain five new filtration criteria. The result has been submitted to performance and functional tests.
Suppression of artifacts in electrocardiograms
Šafárová, Marcela ; Kubičková, Alena (referee) ; Janoušek, Oto (advisor)
The bachelor’s thesis on the subject removal of ECG noise introduces processing of ECG signal for possible better diagnostics. The first part of the work is focused on initiation and propagation of action potential and methods for measuring heart´s electrical activity. Further are referred main types of noise affecting the ECG signal and basic filtering methods. The work focuses on filtration using Lynn´s filters, IIR filters, interpolation, spectral lines editing and adaptive filters and evaluation of their effectivity.
Airconditioning for expectoral beds in a hospital building
Snášel, Michal ; Uher, Pavel (referee) ; Rubina, Aleš (advisor)
The topic of this Bachelor thesis is a design of two air handling units for Emergency Room and nearby surroundings in the hospital’s area. The devices are designed to meet the operating, hygienic and functional requirements for internal microclimate. The tasks for these devices are air conditioning, coverage of heat loss, venting the thermal load and moisturizing the air. The theoretical part is focused on air handling units and their parts.
QRS Complex Detector
Kubík, Adam ; Provazník, Ivo (referee) ; Smital, Lukáš (advisor)
The aim of my thesis is to introduce issue of detection of QRS complex by squaring and envelope detection. The first part focuses on creation and scanning of heart electrical activity. Afterwards, the most frequent types of disturbance of EKG signal and their filtering are described. The second part is about real application of signal filtration and emphasis of QRS complexes using the methods which are mentioned above. Practical part is externalized in Matlab program. And signals from CSE library are used to test efficiency of the detectors.
Operational and Technical Condition of Separation Equipment in Water Treatment Plants
Pešout, Jakub ; Roh, Robert (referee) ; Kučera, Tomáš (advisor)
The goal of this thesis was to determine the operational and technical parameters of the separation objects in water treatment. The first part is a theoretical and provides basic information on this issue. The second part contains the evaluation criteria created by the obtained information for individual objects and gained in practice by personal visits of selected treatment plants of water. In the last part we can find application of these criteria in water treatment in practice. There is also included the final evaluation of the researched condition.
