This bachelor thesis is focused on integrated rescue system, on it´s components and preparedness of this components to avert danger of dangerous chemical substances, specifically is this thesis focused on ammonia, chlorine, natural gas and benzine. Object of this thesis is find out whether the selected components of the integrated rescue system are able to adequately respond to the hazards resulting from the leakage of these substances. One of the partial objectives is the assessment of the preparedness and assessment of the material resources, because of these reasons, was used a questionnaire, which was filled in by the members of the Czech Republic integrated rescue system. The results of the questionnaire survey are displayed with using descriptive statistics. Results which were interesting are shown graphically. This work can be used as a source of information, as a learning tool or it can be used for compare changes in the preparedness of selected subjects after few years. Some kind of technical unprepardeness of police department and medical rescue service. The fire department was well prepared, not only because of the current material resources, but also because of constant modernization of their technology. The knowledge of all components is good enough to carry out its tasks, but there were also have been notised some mistakes in discipline of hazardous substances, which means possible health threats for rescuers. The work also includes possible solutions, for example creation of lectures, for members of the integrated rescue system which would be led by university teachers.

Comparation of gasolines by gas chromatography
Švambergová, Šárka ; Kučková, Štěpánka (advisor) ; Čapek Adamec, Martin (referee)
Gasoline is volatile substance that is composed of many hydrocarbons and other ingredients called additives. The method of gas chromatography is most commonly used for the analysis of gasoline. It is suitable for separation of hydrocarbons contained in gasoline and also for their comparison. The task of this bachelor thesis was to compare different types of gasoline based on the separation of individual hydrocarbons by gas chromatography with flame ionization detector (GC-FID). At first, the knowledge about the method of gas chromatography and the composition and properties of gasoline was necessary to achieve. Secondly, the determination of experimental conditions (temperature program) for proper separation of hydrocarbons and comparison of selected gasoline were obtained.
Multifractal analysis of petrol and diesel prices in the Czech Republic
Baletka, Martin ; Krištoufek, Ladislav (advisor) ; Gregor, Martin (referee)
This thesis examines scaling properties of petrol and diesel prices in the Czech Republic and a crude oil price over the period from January 2004 to February 2013. Using generalised Hurst exponent and multifractal detrended fluctuation analysis techniques we find out that crude oil market is efficient, do not contain long memory and the returns exhibit monofractal behaviour. On the other hand, petrol and diesel markets in the Czech Republic are not efficient, because their returns contain long-range dependence in autocorrelations and exhibit multifractal behaviour caused mostly by fat-tailed distribution. Thus, fuels can be modelled by complex methods like Markov switching multifractal model. JEL Classification C15, C16, C46 Keywords petrol, diesel, crude oil, long memory, multifrac- tality, GHE, MF-DFA Author's e-mail martin.baletka@ies-prague.org Supervisor's e-mail kristoufek@ies-prague.org Abstrakt Tato práce zkoumá škálování cen benzínu a motorové nafty v České repub- lice a ceny ropy na datech v období od ledna 2004 do února 2013.
Emergency preparedness in the chemical enterprise Synthos Kralupy a.s. in the release of hazardous substances
TYEMNYÁKOVÁ, Lucie
The risk of serious accident is increasing with the rise of the amount of chemical industry manufacturing. This accident can have immeasurable consequences. The aim of this thesis is to point out the consequences caused by leakage of dangerous substance of petrol from the biggest cistern in chemical company Synthos Kralupy a.s. and to suggest steps for emergency clearance. To fulfil the aim, examination of serious accident risks had to be carried out first. The method of Dow's Fire and Explosion Index was used for this examination which enabled evaluation of a real fire and explosion risk. Apart from these methods, another method called IAEA-TECDOC-727 was also used. Consequently, possible scenarios of dangerous substances leakage from storage cistern were created. These were simulated through software programmes ALOHA and TerEx. Acquired results were then well arranged in charts. During the research of this issue, a method of controlled interviews was used. These interviews with employees of firefighter emergency service were focused on emergency readiness of the chemical company Synthos Kralupy a.s. A cistern containing dangerous substance represents a crucial risk, even though the results showed that the accident of all petrol leakage from the cistern is very unlikely. However, this accident should not be neglected because a dangerous cloud reaching 565 m from the site of the accident would occurred. The dangerous cloud cause mortality of 70% within a distance of 2,000 m and a distance of 4,970 m to the 1 st degree burns. If all petrol leaked from the cistern, the consequences would be much bigger than just pollution. It would also include death toll, health problems and vast property damages.

Determination of ethanol in petrol using impedance detector
Kadlecová, Tereza ; Opekar, František (advisor) ; Štulík, Karel (referee)
This work deals with the determination of ethanol in petrol using contactless impedance detector. Planar and tubular detection cells of various geometric parameters are tested. The cells are connected as a frequency determining capacitor in an integrated multivibrator circuit. Analyzed gasoline, whose dielectric constant depends on the ethanol content, forms the dieletric of the capacity cells. Therefore, for various contents of ethanol, the capacity of the detection cells varies and the multivibrator generates different frequency. Based on the calibration, the content of ethanol can be determined from the frequency measured. The results obtained are compared with those obtained by gas chromatography with mass spectrometric detection.
