Possibilities of roman cements preparation by modification of limestone sludges
Petr, Jiří ; Koplík, Jan (referee) ; Opravil, Tomáš (advisor)
It is obvious that binders based on the portland clinker will still play the most important role in the building materials industry. Their high quality, the existence of standards and the affordability are the main reasons. Together with this there is of course an appreciable need for decreasing of energy consumption, carbon dioxide emissions and utilization of secondary raw materials. The roman cement is the possible answer to all of these requests. This historically experienced hydraulic binder, relatively less demanding for the quality of the raw material, is fired by the temperature below the sintering point and even though it does not achieve as good mechanical properties as the portland cement does, in some applications it could be re-established. This would ultimately lead to considerable savings both in the energy and the carbon dioxide emissions.
Cost optimization of the operational phase of buildings
Kleinerová, Jana ; Dostál, Jan (referee) ; Výskala, Miloslav (advisor)
The thesis discusses the operating costs and the possibilities for their optimization. Specifically, it focuses on one of the greatest possible operating costs and it's heating costs. In the first part of the thesis are defined in general expenses, the price and the production, operating costs, optimization of these costs, life cycle of buildings and technological methods to improve the thermal and technical properties of the object. Finally, the theoretical part describes the terms for calculating the energy performance of the building and the payback period, which evaluates the effectiveness of investments. The practical part is assessed according to specific building energy performance, and especially in terms of its demand for heating. The building is designed for six variants of insulation, which is again judged on their energy performance. Subsequently these measures for better thermal insulating properties of the object assessed according to their cost efficiency and return on investment of individual variants.
Economic Benefits of Low-energy and Passive Houses
Vopelka, Jan ; Liška, Luděk (referee) ; Kocourková, Gabriela (advisor)
This thesis deals with the issue of low-energy and passive houses. It describes the principals and requirements for their construction. It deals with the advantages of houses with low heating demand. The payback period of reference object was set from the calculations.
The Impact of Thermal Insulation of a Detached House in the Village of Karolínka on Running Expenses of this Property
Batrla, Jan ; Daňhel, Petr (referee) ; Klika, Pavel (advisor)
This thesis evaluates the influence of thermal insulation of a detached house on the expenses associated with the operation of the property. The first part describes the construction of houses from history to the present day, as well as legislation associated with the thermal insulation of buildings. The work also deals with the energy performance of buildings, energy price developments, types of thermal isolation and insulation of Houses. Thoroughly analyzes ETICS insulation systém. The second part is devoted to a particular detached house in the village Karolinka to evaluate the economic return on investment. Thermal insulation is solved in seven variants. The work includes thermal technical assessment of the condition of the original house and then heat the assessment of the options for the thermal insulation on its economic return. In conclusion, the assessment of individual variants insulation is calculated as a simple payback period.
Technology solution for energy savings in industrial processes
Cyž, Antonín ; Miklas, Václav (referee) ; Konečná, Eva (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is a search of known technological solutions for energy saving in industrial processes. The first part contains a description of the methodology for the analysis of energy consumption in the company. The first part also solves some of the statutory obligations of an energetic area in companies. Then follows a description and possible use of individual technological devices. The theoretical part of the work evaluates and describes the possibilities to increase the energy efficiency of an industrial laundry. Finally, the economic – energy balance of a specific operation is analyzed, including the evaluation of the financial return on investment.
Influence of insulation of a guest house on expenses related to the operation of the property
Mach, Stanislav ; Čech, Josef (referee) ; Nykodýmová, Veronika (advisor)
The thesis solves the construction of the pension and deals with the assessment of the impact of the thermal insulation on expenses related to the operation of the property. The pension is situated on the street Valtická in Mikulov. The building has one floor and is founded on strip foundations. Roofing of the house is solved with irregular gable roof. In the first part of the thesis is a theoretical introduction mentions the possibility of building insulation and insulation methods. In the practical part of the thesis is an assessment of the heat transfer coefficient of the pension and costs associated with heating. There is also a proposal for modifications of the envelope construction with assessment of the heat factor and there are also proposed modifications to reduce the costs of operating the property.
Energy evaluation of building for public facilities
Procházková, Adéla ; Maurerová, Lenka (referee) ; Hirš, Jiří (advisor)
The aim of thesis is the energy evaluation of building for public facilities - kindergarten. From the beginning work deals with the analysis of a given topic, standard and legal regulations associated with the topic. This knowledge is further applied to a specific building. It follows by evaluation of the current state of the building, its systems, internal environment and analysis of measures leading to energy savings and ensuring the quality of the indoor environment of building. Work also deals with experimental measurements of selected parameters of the internal environment.
Analysis of the effect of insulation on the housing unit price in a model house in Vyškov
Čupr, Pavel ; Kosová, Jaroslava (referee) ; Adámek, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis examines the influence of insulation of perimeter structures on the price of residential units in model house. Model example is prefabricated house in the town of Vyškov. The aim is to determine whether is the investment for owners of individual apartments beneficial and, if so, what is its return time. Two views on this issue are saving energy for heating and appreciation of prices of apartments. The secondary objective is considering other options to save energy.
The impact of executing new thermal insulation on a single-family house on the expenses associated with its operation
Labounek, Martin ; Bradáč, Albert (referee) ; Čech, Josef (advisor)
