Cross_section and reinforcement optimization of roof truss
Odvárka, Miroslav ; Šimůnek, Petr (referee) ; Laníková, Ivana (advisor)
The thesis is focused on optimization of cross-section shape of reinforced concrete truss. An optimization algorithm was created in Microsoft Office Excel which optimizes the shape and reinforcement of the reinforced concrete truss. The truss is as cheap as possible while complying with the ultimate limit state and serviceability limit state - deflection. The algorithm uses the Solver tool which is a supplement program Microsoft Office Excel. Two truss variants were created. One has a cross-sectional shape of a truss designed according to empirical relationships and the second comprises an optimized cross-sectional shape using the algorithm formed. The internal truss forces were detected using Scia Engineer. Both options were statically assessed. When comparing the variants, that a considerable part of the material cost can be saved when optimizing the cross-sectional shape.
Reconstrukction of family house
Brhel, Jiří ; Požár, Michal (referee) ; Strnad, Jiří (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with the design and assessment of reinforced concrete ceiling structures of the extension house over pool. An assessment is made of the ultimate limit states and serviceability limit states by a simplified method.
Design of Skid Loader with Load Capacity up to 1t
Weiser, Michael ; Surman, Martin (referee) ; John, David (advisor)
The theme of this diploma thesis is design of skid steer loader with capacity up to 1 tonne. The result of this thesis is a conceptual solution of loader. It describes structural, technological, ergonomic and visual aspects with respect to current trends.
Design of precast foundation for machinery
Šandor, Peter ; Zich, Miloš (referee) ; Strnad, Jiří (advisor)
The bachelor‘s thesis main focus is the design of reinforced concrete foundations. The purpose of this thesis is to design the height of the foundation and the dimensioning of the reinforcements. It also deals with tilting and carrying capacity of the foundation gap. Mechanical drawings of the reinforcements and the shape of the foundation are also part of this thesis
The reinforced concrete structure of elementary school
Benešová, Lenka ; Hrubý, Tomáš (referee) ; Požár, Michal (advisor)
The diploma thesis is focused on the design and evaluation of the concrete monolithic ceiling slab in the shape of semicircular ring, ribs lining this plate and skylights. The result is static calculation and drawing documentation.
Traditional Method of Transporting Material in the Krkonose Mountains.
Smrčka, Aleš ; Pargač, Jan (advisor) ; Hejzlarová, Tereza (referee)
This bachelor's thesis named Traditional Method of Transporting Material in the Krkonose Mountains acquaints the readers with the modes of material transportation in the Krkonose Mountains by traditional transport means from the mid 16th century to the present day. As far as transportation is concerned, the colonization by the Alpine residents occurring in the second half of the 16th century was of a great importance. The colonials coming from the Alps were invited to the Giant Mountains to harvest and subsequently transport timber. They were using traditional means of transportation, as for instance chutes, barrows, wheel-barrows, "loktuše" (square bagging), frame backpacks and sledge, when working in the forest, timber floating or lodge and chalet building. The specific means of transportation were selected according to the material transported, terrain, season and partially to the gender of the worker. Some of the transportation means gradually changed their purpose. For example the bob-sleigh was later employed in tourism and nowadays - instead of material transportation - is mainly used as sports equipment. Today, horses are usually employed to draw timber logs down from the areas of higher altitudes.
Travelling and lifting mechanism
Bernard, Vladislav ; Malach, František (referee) ; Malášek, Jiří (advisor)
The thesis deals the design and calculation of handling equipment designed for transport of Bell helicopter between the airport and hangar space. The first part contains an analysis of possible mechanisms applicable to the handling of the helicopter as well as an overview of the overall evaluation of some producers, engaged in the manufacture of this type of device. The second part presents the design, necessary calculations and drawing documentation. Handling equipment is designed for loading kapacity of 2000kg with a minimum 80 mm lift of helicopter to ensure safe transportation to the required distance.
Chassis Electrical Systems
Slaběňák, Patrik ; Kuchyňková, Hana (referee) ; Hájek, Vítězslav (advisor)
Travelling by bus is very extended in present and safety return home is a wish of every passenger. Outcome of this bachelor work is a survey of the most used stability systems, used in cars and facilitating the work of drivers in critic situations. Among others, this work contains the survey of powers acting on a vehicle during the ride. This powers influence impending slippery road on aggravated adhesive conditions. Individual systems are described attentively and supplemented by illustrating pictures, which near this issue and facilitate the real idea of functionality. At the conclusion of this work is mentioned the theoretical suggestion for practical exercising of a subject automobile electrotechnics and also a referring is mentioned to my continuation in this dissertation.
Stabilizing systems of passenger cars
Odehnal, Jakub ; Vopařil, Jan (referee) ; Kučera, Pavel (advisor)
This Bachelor’s thesis describes basic stabilizing systems of passenger cars. These systems are correcting driving the cars and improve safety of the traffic. The main systems described in this thesis are ABS, ASR and ESP. There are also summarized some other assistant systems. In the end there is also view of various individual car companies and their theories of stabilizing of cars.
Identification of forces in the transport of liquids
Štursa, Martin ; Pokorný, Přemysl (referee) ; Kubín, Martin (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals with transport of liquids on the roads. In the first part of the thesis, tanks are divided by construction, then the problem of transporting of liquids by European Agreement concerning the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road (ADR) is analysed. In the second part of the thesis, maximal speeds for a vehicle transporting a liquid during cornering are defined and calculated. These calculations are then applied in the solution of a real-life example.
