Jaroš, Tomáš ; Gnad, Tomáš (advisor) ; Chrástková, Martina (referee)
Title: Comparison of effectiveness One Skate (V2) and Offset (V1) in cross country skiing. Objectives: The aim of my work is to compare two skiing techniques, One skate (V2) and Offset (V1) on the basis of driving efficiency in these skating methods. Methods: Work is treated as a case study. This is a quantitative research performed on the basis of comparison of load time and heart rate values during skating at six probands of different age groups. The values measured when driving with two types of skating were compared on three types of climbing. We also used the method of document analysis and interview. Results: By measuring the load time and heart rate values, the difference between One Skate (V2) and Offset (V1) was found. When processing the results, we have come to the conclusion that One Skate (V2) is more effective in a moderate climb in all three categories and in the middle climb only for juniors and men. In a steep climb , the Offset (V1) proved to be more effective in all three categories. Keywords: cross-country skiing, skating, load time, heart rate
The influence of skating frequency on muscle tone of musculus triceps surae
Obyt, Daniel ; Šifta, Petr (advisor) ; Nováková, Pavlína (referee)
Title: The influence of skating frequency on muscle tone of musculus triceps surae. Objective: The aim of this master degree thesis is to determine whether and how much influence the frequency and intensity of isotonic load the muscle tone of musculus soleus during skating of a professional ice hockey player. The muscle tone of musculus soleus is the most objectively measured part of musculus triceps surae by myotonometer. Summary: The master degree thesis is divided into the theoretical part, the processed form of research that serves as a basis for investigation in the second, empirical part. Change in muscle tone of musculus soleus will be investigated by using myotonometer, which will follow after a full physiotherapy examination. Measurements will be performed on 10 subjects - professional ice hockey players who are fully manage the technique of skating on the ice, before load, after low frequency isotonic load and after high frequency isotonic load. Conclusion: The myotonometric measurements revealed that after low and high frequency isotonic load of skating on ice rink, the muscle tone of musculus soleus is the same or slightly lower than before load. Keywords: Muscle tone, myotonometer, musculus soleus, skating, ice hockey

The reflection kinesiology analyse of cross country skiing
Chrástková, Martina ; Kračmar, Bronislav (advisor) ; Jandová, Soňa (referee) ; Dvořák, František (referee)
Title: The reflection kinesiology analyse of cross country skiing Purposes: To compare coordination of chosen muscles on leg during reflection of cross country skiing classic technique, skating and herringbone. Methods: Comparative analysis: the dates were measured by surface electromyography and 2-D video-analysis. Results: We founded statistical significance by comparisons muscle activation on right leg during kick during cross country skiing: classic technique, diagonal stride and herringbone and V-1 skating and herringbone. In case the left leg the statistical significance was disprove by: m. peroneus longus sin during comparison of diagonal stride and herringbone and m. gastrocnemius medialis sin V-1 skating and herringbone. We founded high level of laterality of diagonal stride and herringbone. In case V-1 skating, the significant similarity was not founded for m. vastus lateralis and m. gluteus medialis. Key words: Cross country skiing, classical technique, skating, herring bone, kinesiology, surface electromyography (EMG), muscles activation
