Transport accessibility as a factor of the level of unenployment in the administrative districts of municipalities with extended powers of the Moravian-Silesian Region

The presented work deals with analysis of relationship of transport accessibility and the level of unemployment in the Moravian-Silesian Region or how different level of unemployment in the various administrative districts of the region, depending on their time accessibility to the regional capital and the capital city of Prague as the most important economic, political and cultural center of the Czech Republic. The quality of transport infrastructure directly influences level of economic development of the region, one of the consequences of underdeveloped transport infrastructure, or limited availability of transport may be unemployment. The work is based on different characteristics of the sub-regional units Moravian-Silesian Region using methods of regression analysis to demonstrate the extent to which affects the accessibility level of unemployment in the area.
Time accessibility of public service centers in selected districts of South Bohemian region (Český Krumlov, České Budějovice, Jindřichův Hradec)

This Bachelor´s thesis deals with time accessibility of centers of administrative districts of municipalities with extended powers from cadaster units covered under these centers in three selected districts of South Bohemian region. The author examines Český Krumlov district, České Budějovice district and Jindřichův Hradec district. The thesis presents a theoretical overview of transport accessibility, its development and importance. The thesis also focuses on topics of transport services and peripheral areas. There are also sociogeographical demarcations of selected districts with emphasis on the transport infrastructure and the residentital structure. The main aim of this thesis is analysis and comparison of time accessibility of public and private transport in three monitored districts and also creation of map outputs which graphically illustrate this analysis.
Influence of traffic accessibility with unemployment rate in the Region Semily

Traffic accessibility is often mentioned as a factor that has an influence on regional developmnet and regional economy. In my bachelor thesis, i try to find out how traffic accessibility affects labour market -- empolyment and unemployment -- in the Region of Semily. In opening part I concern with the tradic accessibility a its impact on regional development. This section also consists of theoretical approches associated with this topic. I describe statistical and geographical methods used in the analytical part of my bachelor thesis. There I analyze relations between the unemployment rate in particular municipality and the accessibility of centers of working microregions. Results of this analyze help me to assess hypothesis of lower unemployment rate in in municipalities with high accessibility by public transport and supposed influence of municipalities traffic location.
The time availability of work centers of South Bohemia region

My thesis deals with the time availability of work centers of South Bohemia region by the private transport. Introductory chapters are focused on the objectives of the thesis, the theoretical background, the analysis of published literature and the formed hypotheses. The chapter "processing method" deals with describing of the various methods that are used to describe the definition of the work centers of the region, the time availability analysis of the private transport and the visualization of obtained data by the tools of the geographic information systems. The main charter contains an extensive analysis of the time availability, which are reflected maps and tabular outputs of the work centers, the administrative division, the regional availability and area accessible by the transport.
Availability of pharmacies in the South Bohemia

The thesis focuses on availability of pharmacies in the South Bohemia. In the following chapters are comprehensive theoretical solutions, analysis of the literature and the setting hypotheses. Another part of the thesis deals with the methods,that are used to make an analysis of the availability of the pharmacies using geographic information systems. The last chapter ,,Analysis of the availability of pharmacies" deals with the placement of pharmacies on the South Bohemia, the operators of the pharmacies, availability of the catchment communities, the time availability, map and tabular outputs.

Traffic accessibility is used to be mentioned in connection with regional development and economy. In my bachelor thesis, I analyse and bring out relationships between unemployment rate and traffic accessibility in the Region of Český Krumlov. I open with characterizing traffic accessibility and its influence on regional development, with a view to unemployment, and I mention theoretical approaches associated with this topic. Later on, I describe statistical and geographical methods used in the practical part of my thesis to bring out relations between the unemployment rate in particular municipality and the accessibility of centers of working microregions. Based on the analysis results, I evaluate hypothesis of higher unemployment in municipalities with low accessibility by public transport and supposed influence of increasing distance and municipalities traffic location.
Analysis of Intensity of Commutation to Work to Cities in Mělník District

This bachelor thesis is aimed at analysis of commutation to cities in Mělník district, definition of centre of commutation in district. The aim of bachelor thesis is define main centre of commutation, analyze traffic accessibility to these centres and define important firms and sum up influence of traffic accessibility and localization of firms on commutation. Bachelor thesis is consist of introduction, four sections and conclusion. In first chapter are determined aim and hypotheses of this bachelor thesis, which are relevant to relationship between commutation, traffic accessibility and localization of firms in communities. Second chapter is focused on basic concepts and literature to subject of commutation. In third chapter are described used methods and data, whereas there are data mainly from Czech Statistical Office. In last, fourth chapter is analyzed intensity of commutation in communities in Mělník district. In conclusion are target analysis and evaluation of hypotheses.
The analysis of transport behaviour of Czechs with emphasis on use of railway transport

During the transition period, the dynamic changes in the transport sector occured (changes in the variety of means of transport), and gradually began to change people's transport behaviour. The choice of means of transport is a process which is conditioned by many factors and may have different regional characteristics. Hence, the general objective of the thesis is to asses transport behaviour of the population in different regions of the Czech republic with emphasis on the rail transport. The analytical part of the thesis is divided into analyse at the national and regional level. The aim of the thesis at the national level is to determine the significance of different types of vehicles for commuting to work. The purpose of the thesis is to evaluate the competition in the most used means of transport (rail, bus, car) and to determine the catchment area of each regional district in order of usage of any particular means of transport. Scope of this objective will be focused mainly on the usage rate of railway transport. The secondary objective is to evaluate commuting to work at the micro-regional level within the district of Pribram. The analysis will be performed on the basis of each municipality in the district of Pribram and will evaluate in detail the mobility of the population. This analysis should provide recommendations for the use of individual transport modes and their possible optimization.
