The objective of this dissertation is to do the analysis of the specific enterprise with the help of the theoretical knowledge and to formulate the recommendations based on the acquired knowledge from the external and internal company’s environment to encourage further development of this enterprise. The integral part of this dissertation is the application of sub instruments of the strategic analysis, concretely the SWOT analysis, SLEPTE analysis, and financial analysis. After findnig main problems, solutions will be recommended.

The bachelor's thesis analyses a business environment of the company Severočeské doly, a. s.. The company's core business is the excavation, processing, and sale of brown coal and associated raw materials. The thesis has two parts, theoretic and analytic. 7S analysis is used to analyse the internal business environment. Porter five forces analysis is used to analyse the microenvironment and PESTLE analysis is used to analyse the macroenvironment. The last analysis is the SWOT analysis, in which I use outcomes of previous analyses. The main goal of this thesis is to analyse key factors, which have positive or negative influence on the company.

The thesis analyses micro and macroenvironment of the company RegioJet, a.s. which carries on passenger rail transport. The first part of the thesis focuses on the theoretical basis which is applied on the environment of chosen company in the second part. PESTLE analysis is used to examine the macroenvironment and Porter five forces analysis is used to examine the microenvironment. Additionally, SWOT analysis is done by using the knowledge from the macro and microenvironment of the company. The main purpose of this thesis is to describe factors affecting the company and classify the company within a competition.

Strunkovice nad Blanicí and on the grounds of this analysis, i. e. analysis of influences of outer company environment, to elaborate the synthesis and the outline of strategic recommendations for the future development of the company. The stategic analysis is elaborate in conditions of branches of agriculture that have unequivocal specific characteristics. The diploma is divided into two parts, the theoretical part and the application part, where methods of strategic analysis are applied to the concrete agricultural company.

The aim is also to identify specific merits of the firm and finally to mention strategic recommendations with regard of elaborated analysis. V teoretické části jsou popsány MSP a vysvětleny nejdůležitější souvislosti strategické analýzy. Empirická část obsahuje charakteristiku podniku, na kterém je provedena strategická analýza. Závěr obsahuje návrhy a doporučení ke zlepšení současné situace.
