Upgrade of the laboratory task of KNX system installation
Hrubeš, Zbyněk ; Müller, Richard (referee) ; Bátora, Branislav (advisor)
This bachelor´s thesis deals with both the theoretical analysis of the KNX bus system, but it is also practically focused on working with KNX products and their programming. In the introductory theoretical part are described the KNX bus system itself, its characteristic properties, functional principle, topological arrangement, possibilities of using communication media and the advantages that brings, in comparison with classic installations in houses and buildings. The next section deals with the description of ETS software for design, planning, programming, and commissioning of KNX installations. Furthermore, the assessment of the possibilities of visualizations for the control of the KNX system, the use of visualization tools designed for this and their subsequent implementation in the laboratory task are discussed. The practical part of the bachelor's thesis is focused on the design of laboratory tasks and their programming using EST6 software using jigs with KNX devices from the company HDL Automation, which were made during the semester work. The output of the bachelor's thesis will be laboratory instructions for teaching and a understanding of working with the KNX system.
New laboratory tasks of the KNX system
Welter, Martin ; Kunc, Josef (referee) ; Bátora, Branislav (advisor)
The bachelor's thesis deals with the design of laboratory tasks for the control of the KNX system electrical installation using devices from the company Hager and Berker. The first part discusses the characteristics of the KNX system, topological arrangement, ETS software, communication media. Furthermore, the remote control of KNX wiring is briefly discussed with subsequent visualization from various companies. The next part is devoted to getting acquainted with the devices that will be used for laboratory tasks with the subsequent creation of laboratory instructions. All functions have been programmed in ETS5 software. Finally, an overall evaluation is made.
Development of KNX installation demo-board
Mitrenga, Michal ; KNX), Josef Kunc (Národní asociace (referee) ; Fiedler, Petr (advisor)
The aim of this diploma thesis is to compile a demonstration panel as an example of the functions of intelligent electrical installation KNX. One of the advantages of this system bus is the ability to use devices from multiple manufacturers. A total of 20 devices from 12 different manufacturers are used in this work. The work begins with an explanation of the principle on which the KNX system bus works, followed by a description of the equipment used and the electrical connection of the switchboard according to the wiring diagram. Next, how the whole panel was revived is described. The next chapter contains a detailed description of device programming in ETS, ie setting parameters for individual devices and assigning group addresses. The last chapter deals with visualization and remote control. It explains how a communication channel was created to connect the panel to a server from FlowBox. Using the web interface on this server, a visualization was created, which can be used to remotely control the entire panel from anywhere.

Design of demonstration panel KNX
Kalfus, Petr ; Kunc, Josef (referee) ; Bátora, Branislav (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis deals with the design of a demonstration panel KNX, which has to demonstrate the control of lights, blinds and appliances of the house with the help of devices from various manufacturers First, there is a search and acquaintance with the KNX system, it´s topological arrangement, devices and used communication media. Furthermore, an introduction is made to the individual devices used on the demonstration panel, with the functions they enable and with their application programs for the ETS environment. Based on the possibilities of the device, the design of the panel function is done. These functions have been programmed in the ETS 5. Next, a drawing of the electrical connection of the panel is made and documentation is made for it. Finally, an overall evaluation is made.
Design of smart wiring of apartment building
Ločárková, Michaela ; Bátora, Branislav (referee) ; Janík, Daniel (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with intelligent installations in buildings. Analyses of a classic and system installation are included as well as the specification of the options of system installation and its individual functions and types. The thesis also discusses norms that are important for the design of electrical wiring in residential buildings. Furthermore, it presents specific solutions for the electrical wiring using ABB free@home components in a 16-apartment house.
Design of system wiring of sports hall
Jaroš, Zdeněk ; Bátora, Branislav (referee) ; Janík, Daniel (advisor)
This diploma thesis focused on designing of systematic wiring of multifunctional sports centrum. The work is divided into two parts. The first part of the work is dealing with definitions and principles necessary for electrical project documentation. There is a presentation of the KNX bus control system, which is chosen for the implementation of the systematic wiring of the sports centrum. There is also an overview of currently used systems for wiring control. At the end, the design of artificial and emergency lighting is processed using a computer program. The content of the second part of the work is a complete project documentation for construction of the multifunctional sports hall using the KNX bus system. Furthermore, the documentation draws the design of power and data distribution to the relevant floor plans of the building, the design of power and system switchboards, an overview scheme of power distribution, topology of the KNX system, budget and technical report.
Modern systems for lighting control
Klein, Tomáš ; Pavelka, Tomáš (referee) ; Bátora, Branislav (advisor)
This Master's thesis deals with intelligent installation systems, focused on lighting systems using the DALI bus system. Theoretical part of this work includes a list of currently available intelligent installation systems and its use in both households and industrial buildings. A summarizing description of KNX and DALI bus systems and their actuators and actuating units are a part of this paper. The practical part proposes two examplary boards designed for laboratories of UEEN VUT in Brno and describes its construction, as well as the programs necessary for its programming, control and monitoring. The outcome of this Master's thesis is a survey of possible remote control of DALI bus system's actuators and mutual compatibility of KNX and DALI bus systems. Furthermore, this paper includes background material for laboratory task, based on data found about remote control and DALI bus system's monitoring.
Design and programming of lighting scenes in an art gallery with visualization
Novotný, Jaromír ; Kunc, Josef (referee) ; Bátora, Branislav (advisor)
This work is intended to serve as an introduction to the theoretical basis for working with decentralized bus system named KNX. There is describe the current lighting solutions situation in the O. H. Hajek gallery in town Prachatice. There is familiarization with devices were used for this solution. The last part is describing how to work with the ETS and programming devices. To visualize system on smart device based Android was chosen SmartServer and is theoretically described in chapter Vizualizace.
