Historic-geograpfical accessibility of Prague by road transport in 1918-2020 using GIS
Kufner, Jan ; Hudeček, Tomáš (advisor) ; Štych, Přemysl (referee)
The work deals with the centenarian development time accessibility of Prague using the road transport in the Czech Republic. Home research part is dedicated to the beginning of development of roads in the Czech Republic up to the planned completion of motorway network and also the matter of network analysis. The work seeks to demonstrate shortening the time distance from each places of the Czech Republic during the century. Parts of the work are isochronal maps of the accessibility of Prague and maps of changes in accessibility for single periods.
Drive Vertical Saddle of Machining Centre by Linear Motor
Zapletal, Radek ; Andrýsek, Radim (referee) ; Foller, Bronislav (advisor)
The diploma dissertation deals with the mechanism of vertical movement of a saddle of high-speed machining centre which is made by the Trimill company. The movement of vertical alloy saddle is solved by ball screw. The solution could be improved by replacing the ball screw by linear motor. This will dramatically improve the dynamics of the movement of the vertical saddle. In addition, if the weight is compensated by pneumatic relief and the construction is welded, the dynamics will further improve.
Speed Increasing of the Střelice - Moravský Krumlov Section
Dvořák, Jiří ; Šiške, Vladimír (referee) ; Hruzíková, Miroslava (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to examine the possibilities of increase of speed on a railway track section between Střelice and Moravský Krumlov. The increase of speed is examined according to contemporary geometric parameters of the railway track. Sporadically an assessment with proposed changes of geometric parameters of the railway track is conducted. The proposed changes cannot cause any profound transformations of the body of the railway track. In both cases a restriction of speed by level crossing, a track branching and position of semaphores are taken into consideration. A proposal is elaborated with help of an overview of railway top.
The Students themselves - Student Center Poříčí
Veselá, Marie ; Látalová, Lucie (referee) ; Havliš, Karel (advisor)
The students themselves - Student Center Poříčí Waterfront with views of the city center, the hotel representative in the neighborhood and the traffic load over the streets of Vídeňská. Two opposites, which are daily faced a common corner. While I listened to the dialogue and decided to try to accommodate both "parties". The proposed building is therefore towards the river "looks" and along the streets of Vienna "running out". Horizontally curved strip of floor follow the flow of ambient life - throughout the building causing a glass surface feeling slowdown or stoppage, then head of the belts diverge and height glazing is reduced to the standard, so the speed increases and becomes a facade passerby more inaccessible. Containers with shaping gain more privacy and a wider cut views of the surrounding area. Broken facade indicates heart rate, not only outside but also the interior, where the dominant feature of the central corridor and provides insights into the other floors, the play of light and effectively slows down and speeds up the movement in the building. The unifying element is the central staircase cascaded current on all floors.
Digital speedometer
Bařinka, David ; Macháň, Ladislav (referee) ; Šteffan, Pavel (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to design components for practical realization of a digital speedometer. This thesis describes three basic constructions of the speedometr including the practical illustration, the way of measuring the speed and a the speedometr testing. Furthermore, there are described the principles of the main components and used components. The conclusion of the thesis is concerned with the practical realization of the digital speedometer.
Distance and Speed Measurement Based on Ultrasonic Transmitters and Receivers
Šumbera, Adam ; Růžička, Richard (referee) ; Strnadel, Josef (advisor)
This thesis is engaged in measuring of distance and speed by ultrasound, based on microcontroller Freescale MC68HC08. Describes the function blocks of whole embedded system and its physical realization. Theoretically discuses about properties of ultrasound and deals with problems paired with transmitting and recieving.
Playing of Video Depending on Speed of Speech
Hromádko, Michal ; Fapšo, Michal (referee) ; Szőke, Igor (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis discusses adding the PSOLA method into the VLC Media Player. PSOLA method is used for playing rate modification. It doesn't change base tone and understandableness of the speech.
Modification of Speech Rate
Kovářík, Aleš ; Schwarz, Petr (referee) ; Szőke, Igor (advisor)
This diploma thesis discusses modification of a speech rate. The PSOLA (Pitch Synchronous OverLap Add) method was used for the rate modification. This algorithm works in time domain. Another method -- phase vocoder, which works in frequency domain is also presented in an overview. This thesis extends the PSOLA method with a phoneme recognition, which allows for better understandability of the speech output by considering characteristics of the phonemes beeing pronounced. To examine this proposed method, an application connecting PSOLA and a phoneme recognizer was developed.
Application for Practicing Rapid Reading Techniques
Sokol, Miroslav ; Seeman, Michal (referee) ; Herout, Adam (advisor)
Main goal of this bachelor´s thesis is creation user interface for correct fast reading practise. Four moduls train various abilities of human eyes in regard to average and advanced reader. Application was created as WinForm and thematically is connected with human sight, which hide incredible potential for most of people. The bachelor´s thesis analyse features of eye, individual types of exercises, implementation, concrete developement of user interface and users reactions from their own testing.
Distance and Speed Measurement Based on Ultrasonic Transmitters and Receivers
Vláčil, Martin ; Šimek, Václav (referee) ; Strnadel, Josef (advisor)
Thesis deals with issues connected with using ultrasound to measure distance and speed od objects. In details analyses principle of such measurement, its limitations and difficulities. In thesis is presented way of possible solution and its testing in praxis, such as idea of its further improvement.
