Design of Gm-C integrator for asynchronous delta-sigma modulators
Kekelák, Miroslav ; Prokop, Roman (referee) ; Kledrowetz, Vilém (advisor)
This thesis deals with the study of the design of Gm-C integrators suitable for asynchronous delta-sigma modulators. The theoretical part of the thesis describes the principle of synchronous and asynchronous delta-sigma modulators. A separate chapter is devoted to integrators used in Delta-sigma modulators. Another separate chapter is devoted to transconductors and linearization problems. In the practical part, selected circuits were implemented in I3T80 technology and verified in Spectre simulator.
Acquisition System For Adaptation Of Digital Predistorter To Linearize Amplifiers Using Comparator
Jagla, Lukáš
This paper presents a design of an acquisition system for adaptation of a digital perdistorter implementing a comparator in the feedback path. The key parts of an acquisition chain are verified by simulations and suitable components are chosen for high-speed performance. Subsequently, a printed circuit board is designed, manufactured and prepared for further testing. Finally, an appropriate firmware is developed to evaluate the proposed hardware and to acquire data for digital predistorter adaptation.
The Lorenz system: A route from stability to chaos
Arhinful, Daniel Andoh ; Šremr, Jiří (referee) ; Řehák, Pavel (advisor)
The theory of deterministic chaos has generated a lot of interest and continues to be one of the much-focused research areas in the field of dynamics today. This is due to its prevalence in essential parts of human lives such as electrical circuits, chemical reactions, the flow of blood through the human system, the weather, etc. This thesis presents a study of the Lorenz equations, a famous example of chaotic systems. In particular, it presents the analysis of the Lorenz equations from stability to chaos and various bifurcation scenarios with numerical and graphical interpretations. It studies concepts of non-linear dynamical systems such as equilibrium points, stability, linearization, bifurcation, Lyapunov function, etc. Finally, it discusses how the Lorenz equations serve as a model for the waterwheel (in detail), and the convection roll for fluid.
Adaptation of digital predistorter to linearize amplifiers using comparator
Light Airplane Flight Parameters Estimation
Quadratic Assignment Problem – reformulations and lower bounds
Liška, Ondřej ; Matoušek, Radomil (referee) ; Popela, Pavel (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is focused on quadratic assignment problém. In first part are introduced assignment problems, include basic application. After description of problem and marking convention follows introducing of selected solution metods. In third part are compared solution metods, which are implemented i Julia language with solver Gurobi.
Battery-powered welding inverter
Starec, Stanislav ; Folprecht, Martin (referee) ; Vorel, Pavel (advisor)
This master thesis is focused on proposition and following implementation of DC arc welder. This paper is based on semester’s paper, where the first version was realized. The welder is powered by a battery pack with LiFePO4 type cells. Battery cells are protected by BMS circuits. The driving electronics controls the duty cycle step-down (buck) converter in a closed current or power regulation loop. The power regulator has been designed and validated by simulations. Switching power transistors, low side and high side, are implemented by optically isolated gate drivers. Charging the battery is solved by a switching flyback converter. For the charger and the welder is sheet metal construction made of aluminum sheet.
Mathematical models of military conflicts
Skopal, Martin ; Potůček, Radovan (referee) ; Čermák, Jan (advisor)
This thesis discusses the mathematical models used in the theory of warfare. The aim is to build and describe the Richardson model of conict and selected Lanchester models of combat. The models are subsequently analysed with a focus on stability. A part of the thesis is also formed by application of real data onto the models and by the subsequent evaluation of their results.
Controller of hot runner for injection molds
Chrenka, Eduard ; Fiedler, Petr (referee) ; Štohl, Radek (advisor)
The thesis focuses on implementation of a hot runner controller for injection molds for plastic materials with a maximum number of 56 regulated zones. The first part of the thesis deals with already existing and used solutions of the given subject. The following part of the thesis describes the principles of temperature measurement by means of thermoelectric sensors, including their linearization as well as communication protocols MODBUS, EUROMAP 17. The identification of a regulated system ( heating zone) has been carried out before the hardware design. The development process is divided into some parts : system conception, hardware design, software development. The controller consists of measuring modules designed to collect data and handle power controllers for management of performance of heating elements. The necessary calculation power is integrated into the controllling computer. All parts of a hot runner controller are implemented taking into account the costs.
Heat exchanger model
Dufek, Martin ; Hynčica, Ondřej (referee) ; Štohl, Radek (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with programmable logix controller ControlLogix, panel PanelView Plus, model of the heat exchanger and its components. The main goal is to suggest a model exercise for exchanger and processing of standard measurements. Model exercise is solving regulation and handling fault conditions. Visualization solves a draft and a realization within a work with the model which makes possible to monitor a state of the model in distance conditions and its controlling.
