KOKEŠOVÁ, Lenka
Bachelor thesis "Social and emotional development with individuals with ADHD" (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorders) addresses how individuals develop from birth until early adulthood, and what problems these individuals, their parents, teachers and the whole neighborhood faces. Given that from ADHD syndrome suffer between 3-5% of the child population, it is certain that almost every teacher encounters with a child suffering from the syndrome. Personality of a teacher has an important impact on a development of a student with ADHD syndrome and influences mainly whether a child with the syndrome receives at school appropriate evaluation, will perform with adequate results with regard to their intellect and whether a child will like to go to school or will only have bad memories of school. Syndrome of attention deficit disorder together with hyperactivity is also currently known as so-called ADHD syndrome. Children which suffer from this disorder tend to be hyperactive, impulsive and have attention deficit disorder. For this reason they have behavioral and learning problems mostly from the first grade of primary school. Despite the fact that the intelligence of children with ADHD syndrome is not affected by the syndrome and in most cases they have average to above-average intelligence the children do not reach adequate results at school. Often receiving bad grading or being criticized for bad behavior and receiving notes sent home. These children are identified by others as sloppy, fools, punk, thugs, cheeky, etc." This thesis contains overview of up-to-date knowledge of this area (issue), above all reasons for ADHD, diagnostics and kinds of ADHD, legislation, possibilities of how to reduce ADHD syndrome and influence positively at a child as of very early age until the completion of the school attendance. In my research I have concentrated on evaluation of the main problems of individuals influenced by ADHD syndrome. These individuals suffer with ADHD as of early age up until adulthood during their studies and while spending free time. Taking into consideration the view of the teachers, doctors, parents and social workers. Study of the Bachelor thesis was prepared based on qualitative research method, the data were obtained from 3 kinds of anonymous surveys which were composed while using closed, semi-open and open questions. The studied group consist of doctors from hospital - pediatric department in České Budějovice, from children psychiatric hospital in Opařany, teachers from the primary school in Týn nad Vltavou and social workers from department MěÚ in Týn nad Vltavou. The aim of the research was to find out whether students if they are provided with specific educating and raising needs still show problems during tuition. If the individuals with ADHD syndrome are accepted by other children in a group, if based on the research persists syndrome ADHD until the adulthood and if this issue is perceived or ignored by layman and professional public.

Vliv kognitivního vyčerpání na rozhodování
Farská, Kateřina ; Houdek, Petr (advisor) ; Rusina, Robert (referee)
One of the factors significantly influencing our daily decisions is the so-called cognitive depletion. The theory of cognitive depletion postulates the existence of a limited mental resource that is necessary for self-regulation. If the resource is diminished by a task involving self-control, achievement in subsequent self-control task will be impaired. This project examines the effect of cognitive depletion on decisions in the Iowa Gambling Task designed to simulate real-life decision making involving gains and losses. Further, a possible effect of moderating factors that could be affected by cognitive depletion and consequently influence decisions in the Iowa Gambling Task -- risk preference and impulsivity -- is investigated. Dual-process theories postulate there are two systems involved in decision-making: faster, intuitive, emotional System 1 and slower, deliberative, rational System 2. It was found that cognitive depletion leads to enhancement of System 1. As advantageous decisions in the Iowa Gambling Task are closely related to emotional reactions -- domain of System 1 -- it was hypothesized that cognitive depletion will lead to not worse, or possibly even better results in depleted subjects. A controlled laboratory experiment was conducted involving 39 subjects in total. No difference was found in average desicions of depleted and non-depleted subjects in the Iowa Gambling Task, supporting the hypothesis. Further, short-term increase in impulsivity caused by cognitive depletion was very probably moderating choices in the IGT, leading to worse overall performance. Regarding risk preferences, we found that non-depleted subjects were generally more risk seeking in losses context, while depleted subjects exhibited rather loss aversion. This change in risk behaviors due to cognitive depletion very probably did not mediate choices in the Iowa Gambling Task.

Dilema of hyperkinetic syndrome of childhood and the integration to nursery school and to common basic tribes.
RAINEROVÁ, Lucie
My bachelor thesis put mind to detection of integration of child with hyperkinetic syndrome into the peers` group in the school institution. I wanted to determine, which signs of this disorder and how interact integration of these childern. I wanted to propose equipments for theirs integration. Hyperkinetic syndrome (formely known as {\clqq}minimal brain dysfunction``) is a behaviour disorder originating in childhood in which the essential features are signs of developmentally inappropriate inattention, impulsivity and hyperactivity. It has been estimated that approximately 3-10% of the total children population are affected by the hyperkinetic syndrome. The syndrome is more common in males than females. Therefore, it is very important to support the child{\crq}s integration into the childrens` group. The burden of the integration into the peers group should lie with the school, especially the teachers who are most familiar with the child. The hypothesis is {\clqq}Children with the hyperkinetic syndrome have problems with their integration into the peers` groups in both nursery schools and basic schools (without special needs)``. Records of my working illustrate, that the integration appear to by not so difficult. The hypothesis negate. The aim was fulfilled.
