Financial resources to funding retirement age

The target of this graduation thesis is to analyze options you have in order to ensure additional financial resources in retirement age. Public pension system is unsustainable. Pension replacement rates by earnings are unsatisfactory. It is necessary to create a financial reserve individualy. From a financial sphere life insurance and additional pension insurance are offered. It is a state contribution which makes them profitable. Also Life cycle fund is an interesting way especialy in long run. From real investment sphere alocation into real estates or small solar power station with state garanties seem to be very convenient. Investment into descendants are disappreciated nowadays, but it is historical tested way of creation added resources in retirement age.
Is the existence of a single European pension system feasible?

European integration is a complex and long-lasting process, which gradually affects all areas of national policy. A very up-to-date problem is also an unsustainable pension scheme facing many member states and which is the reason why European Union starts to deal with it more and more. The aim of this bachelor thesis is to characterize the pension schemes in selected member countries (Sweden, Germany, United Kingdom) and then find the differences and similarities between them. Furthermore, the thesis analyzes the current state of coordination of national pension systems within the European Union and other possible development in this area. In the model, which assumes a single European pension system, the advantages and disadvantages of its implementation are pointed out through a SWOT analysis on the example of the Czech republic. The conclusion of the thesis collects information and responds to the question whether the existence of a single European pension system is feasible.
Swedish pension system - the inspiration for Czech pension reform

Demographic changes in age structure of czech population brings a number of problems relating to the financial sustainability of the pension system. The pension system in the Czech Republic consists of two pillars. The first pillar is mandatory, state-guaranteed and continuously funded. The second pillar (pension additional insurance) is a voluntary. The problems of financial sustainability of pension systems must be solved. Demographic changes are not only in the Czech republic but in almost all developed countries. CR has an opportunity to monitor the actions of other countries and inspired to find a solution. Successful reform has already been in the Sweden.
Analysis of the balance of pension system since 1993

This thesis deals with the pension system, specifically the causes of its annual surpluses or deficits from the beginning of the existence of insurance premium, ie since 1993. In addition to identifying and characterising these causes, the thesis seeks answers to questions about their quantification or, in other words, how big was the impact of these factors on the particular balance of the pension system each year.
Analysis of chosen saving and investment products on the czech financial market from the household´s point of view

The aim of this thesis is to describe particular financial products and compare them from the evaluation point of view. We also will review these products from the perspective of clients who differ in investment and saving attitude. We will focus on czech households and describe their habits in area of financial products and examine their behaviour during a time period in relation to phases of economic cycles and other exogenous variables. We also will describe functioning of financial system and focus on information asymmetry between houselholds and financial institutions. Further we will look at examples of moral hazard done by financial institutions. The conclusion of this thesis provides recommendations of suitable products for each client.
Comparison of pension system in Czech and Slovak republic

The main aim of this dissertation is to compare the pension systems of Czech and Slovak Republic. The first part is dealing with the theory of pension systems and places emphasis on main philosophic concepts, from which these come from. The second part describes main attributes of Czech pension system and points out, that its reform is really needed. The third part of this dissertation analyses pension reform, which has been adopted in the Slovak Republic. Its aim is to consider all positives and negatives of this reform as well. The further development of Slovak pension system after adoption of this reform examines the fourth part of this dissertation. The last part compares the Czech and Slovak pension system and tries to evaluate, which conception of pension reform would be the best for the Czech Republic.

The topic of social security systems and pension reforms are discussed a lot recently. Pension reform in Slovakia started in 2004. After parametric reform in mandatory state pay-as-you-go pillar a mandatory funded pillar was set up and changes in voluntary private funded pillar were approved. The goal of this diploma thesis is to describe and analyse impacts of these changes in pension system.

Analysis of the effects of pension reform in the Czech Republic

This dissertation studies the impact and consequences of possible retirement plan reforms on subjects in the Czech Republic. The first part focuses on classification of pension systems and fundamentals of the Czech pension system. Second part summarizes major aspects of the retirement plan reform. Changes in the pension system in the process of ageing of the population are highlighted in this section. Following is the fundamental part of the dissertation that will point out possible consequences of the retirement plan reform for the Czech Republic. The conclusion of the dissertation aims to discuss needs of all parties participating on the retirement plan reform and outline an optimal reform plan. This is the conflict point of the interest of the public and those of the government. However, it is a government's responsibily to act on behalf of the citizens and that is the paramount factor of the reform.
The industrial insurance and its role for solving needs of people in age.

The theme of my bachelor essay is the industrial insurance and its role for solving needs of people in age. My essay is devoted to problems of products that are used in the Czech Republic in context with satisfaction of needs in age. At the beginning of my work I will analyse current situation of the income reform in the Czech Republic and its current problems and deficiencies. In the second part I will analyse all products of the industrial insurance and the pension rider. The analysis of all insured products is devoted to offer of Kooperativa a.s. and ING a.s. I describe the pension rider in the framework of the pension fund of Česká spořitelna and the pension fund of ING. At the close of my work I recommend to clients according to their age and their gains appropriate products for their provision.
