Life style characteristic of vocational school students (students with special educational needs)
HÁKOVÁ, Alena
The thesis presents the results of theoretical and empirical study. The thesis deals with primary monitoring of lifestyle of students with special educational needs, the creation of an educational program designed for dormitory of secondary vocational school and the program's impact on quality of life. The work consists of several parts. The theoretical part describes the principles of a healthy lifestyle (healthy eating, physical activity, mental activity), special educational needs, the age period of 15-18 years, secondary vocational school and quality of life. The practical part analyzes the lifestyle of students at secondary vocational school in Soběslav. This part highlights the different attitudes of commuter students and students living in dormitories. The analysis is based on questionnaire my own creation. The results are shown in the graphs. For dormitory of secondary vocational school an educational program "A year in a dorm" was created. The program is aimed at a comprehensive understanding of health and healthy lifestyle. The influence of the educational process on the quality of life we investigated using a standardized questionnaire PedsQl. Data are evaluated by ANOVA and Tukey statistical method. In conclusion we disprove the hypothesis that commuter students have a healthier lifestyle than students staying at the dorms. We confirm the positive effect of educational program on quality of life for boarding students statistically significant in the group of girls. We also confirm that the effect of the program lasted three months
Healthy life style of young population
Kaftanová, Lucie ; Polišenský, Miroslav (advisor) ; Petr, Jakub (referee)
The bachelor study concerns todays young generation wellness and healthy lifestyle and is split up into two parts: the theoretical and the pratical one. In the theoretical part the study deals with the terms of wellness. It focuses primarily on the factors with an impact on our health such as alimentation, physical activity, sleep and psychological well-being. Moreover, it reveals the way how the menu in school canteens is drawn up. The practical part shows us one particular institution, a nursery school, which is used for a functional analysis of the institution based on Bronisław Kasper Malinowský ideas. In addition it investigates the situation of healthy lifestyle, in particular whether the kindergarten brings the children to the healthy lifestyle - wellness, what methods they use and if the institution meets the recommendation of the consumer basket for school alimentation.
Healthy lifestyle of young population
Šturmová, Adéla ; Polišenský, Miroslav (advisor) ; Pilař, Tomáš (referee)
My thesis deals with healthy lifestyle of young population more specifically of children in the ate of 3 - 6 years. It is divided into two parts - theoretical and practical. The theoretical part clarifies the basic terms and concepts of a healthy lifestyle. This part mainly deals with balanced diet and nutrition, sleeping habits, stress, exercise and sports, drinking régime and last but not least the disease of civilization. There is also explanation of the term non-profit making organization which I have chosen for the further research. Second part of my thesis analyses the healthy lifestyle of children in kindergarten at Lipí in South Bohemia Region starting with information about the organization. I have also written the characteristic of kindergarten - sports facilities, funding, eating habits and meal plan. Additionally, Body Mass Index of the children has been measured. The outcomes of the analysis are evaluated at hte end of the thesis, which are completed with appropriate improvement recommendations.
Student sleeping patterns and the peculiarities and problems associated with them.
KRAMPLOVÁ, Monika
The presented thesis is focused on the topic "Sleep of students and peculiarities or problems associated with it." The work is focused on sleep patterns of adolescents. It is divided into two main parts. The first part is dealt with the theoretical basis of the issue - basic concepts are explained there and the sleep is described there in the psychological and physiological points of view. The attention is paid to the period of adolescence, including possible mental problems of adolescents and the role of the pupil at school. In the second (practical) part the methodology of the research is described there. As a research tool a standard questionnaire was chosen for it. The information obtained from this survey was used to draw conclusions and results were described and interpreted. The bachelor thesis will be provided to school leadership, where a research was carried out and can also serve as an information source.
Irregular working hours members of the IZS and their impact on quality of life
KREJČÍ, Ondřej
This bachelor paper describes influence of irregular working time on human organism and psychic as well as on the quality of life as such. This work focuses on the members of the integrated rescue system. Such people are exposed to enormous mental as well as physical ballast during their shifts. Therefore, this thesis deals with basic, topic related terms such as ballast and stress, biorhythms, sleep, sleeping disorders and specifics of work of integrated rescue system members. This paper sets its goal in finding out if and how the irregular working time, especially in case of the night shifts, effects members of the integrated rescue system with regard to some of their life spheres and whether such disbalance affects quality of life. A questionnaire served as the key data collecting method.
Model of breathing stabilization in infant using stochastic mechanosensoric stimulation
Laníková, Petra ; Čmiel, Vratislav (referee) ; Provazník, Ivo (advisor)
The goal of this thesis is to create a stochastic model of the breathing automaticity oscillator, including its management with the possibility of stopping and restarting oscillation by an accidental process. The oscillator is implemented by computer program MATLAB R2014a and the results are compared with real records of breathing patterns in newborns. These results are represented with pictures. To evaluate these records is used knowledge of respiratory automatism and sleep apnea syndrome, especially apnea in preterm neonates
Sleep EEG analysis
Kříženecká, Tereza ; Potočňák, Tomáš (referee) ; Ronzhina, Marina (advisor)
This thesis deals with the analysis of EEG during various sleep stages, which is done by calculating the selected parameters from the time and frequency domain. These parameters are calculated from individual segments of EEG signals that correspond with various sleep stages. Based on the analysis it decides which EEG parameters are appropriate for the automatic detection of the phases and which method is more suitable for evaluation of data in hypnogram. The programme MATLAB was used for the analysis and also for the comparison of chosen data.
Smart Nightstand Device
Vávra, Jan ; Žák, Jaromír (referee) ; Macháň, Ladislav (advisor)
Master’s thesis describes design of smart nightstand device. Aim of this system is to monitor and recognize stages of sleep with subsequent transfer of the data to alarm clock to provide the most comfortable awakening. The alarm clock is backed up by batteries. The system controls parameters of surrounding environment using advanced sensors. The device is equipped with a removable light part which is backed up by power supply for illumination during a potential power outage. A pad for wireless charging with standard Qi is also part of this system.
Advanced Alarm Clock for Windows Phone 7
Zapletal, Josef ; Kajan, Rudolf (referee) ; Herout, Adam (advisor)
This bachelor thesis describes the development of mobile application for Windows Phone 7 focused on sleep and awakening the user. The application is very easy to use and uses built-in modules of advanced mobile phones, such as high resolution camera and the accelerometer. This thesis describes the main features of Windows Phone 7 platform, analysis of competing solutions, application concept and its implementation. Furthermore, this work describes the solution of various problems in the development and also provides examples of methods and tools. Finally, there is also a list of used libraries.
Sleep scoring using EEG
Holdova, Kamila ; Smital, Lukáš (referee) ; Ronzhina, Marina (advisor)
This thesis deals with wavelet analysis of sleep electroencephalogram to sleep stages scoring. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with the theory of EEG signal creation and analysis. The polysomnography (PSG) is also described. This is the method for simultaneous measuring the different electrical signals; main of them are electroencephalogram (EEG), electromyogram (EMG) and electrooculogram (EOG). This method is used to diagnose sleep failure. Therefore sleep, sleep stages and sleep disorders are also described in the present study. In practical part, some results of application of discrete wavelet transform (DWT) for decomposing the sleep EEGs using mother wavelet Daubechies 2 „db2“ are shown and the level of the seven. The classification of the resulting data was used feedforward neural network with backpropagation errors.
