The aim of this thesis is a description of information systems and a correct method of selection of the information system by an enterprise. It describes the subject with focus on ERP systems, situation and trends on the domestic market. It brings also benefits of the information systems for enterprises and common mistakes during information system selection process. Own solution for the analyzed company consists of information strategy proposal and the wide selection of the suitable information system. Additional proposals are stated contracted.

The aim of the thesis “Proposal of the Stock Holding Process according to ČSN ISO 9001:2000” is to analyze the current process of stock holding in a particular company and compare it with the requirements of quality management system according to the norm ČSN ISO 9001:2000. The theoretical part consists of on analysis of the existing knowledge in the area of warehousing, a definition of quality management and basic concepts of quality management related to stock holding in a company. The practical part of the thesis describes a procedure of making the analyzed processes of stock holding more effective.

Certification of Quality management system

The Bachelor’s thesis deal with the quality management system certification. In the introduction to the points at issue you can find an explanation of some basic ČSN EN ISO 9001 terms, its history, origin and development. After that some particular ISO standards of 9000 series and methodological instructions for accreditation (MPA 50-01-07) are discussed. The biggest emphasis is put on standard ČSN EN ISO 9001. Particularly chapters 4 to 8 are analysed here. The other significant part of the theses is the chapter 7 dealing with the process of certification. The whole process from its origin up to the edition of a certificate, following supervision and re-certification is here described in detail. The current state evaluation and future development prediction are given in the conclusion.

Quality Management in Production of Enterprise

The research subject of the bachelors thesis is a process of product quality management at the enterprise. The research objective is to analyze the process of product quality management at the enterprise using the ArgentA Silver Factory activity as an example, and elaborate the improvement proposals. ArgentA Silver Factory is the largest table silver producer in the Russian market. The basic concepts of theory, approaches and product quality management methods presented in the first part of the thesis are used in the second part as its theoretical and methodological foundations. The second part of the thesis considers the enterprise performance characteristic; in particular, its functional and process models of quality assurance. The last part contains the proposals to identify the quality assurance business process as well as the companys expected future development prospects conditioned by the introduction of the business process management.

Evaluation of good and bad practices in the management process of a specific project

The master's thesis "Evaluation of good and bad practices in the management process of a specific project" aims to analyse and evaluate the good and bad practice in the project of "Contract compliance" in the company SAP. The first part of the thesis is focused on theoretical and methodological basis of project management and its processes. The second part of the thesis characterises the company SAP and the selected project as well as analyses and evaluates good and bad practices. Furthermore, the findings are summarised in the Lessons Learned document and preventive measures for the identified bad practice are proposed. This creates a learning material for future project management in the company.

Analysis of compliance with the requirements of ISO 9001 in the logistics company

In recent decades the increasing pressure on companies operating in different areas of the business to enhaced their competitive advantage, focus on continual improvement and maintain customer loyalty. One of the tools that achieve the desired state, is implementation of quality management system according to ISO 9001. The quality management system implementation in the company gives its customers a clear signal of the intention to continuously improve the company in relation to the requirements of continuous improvement and transparent negotiated. Due to these reasons, the thesis deals with the analysis of compliance with the requirements of ISO 9001 in particular logistics company. The aim of this work is a detailed analysis of the current situation in the company with a focus on the creation of practical advice and recommendations, which aim to provide conformity to ISO 9001 with the conditions in the company. The work is conceived as a practical guide to implementation of the recommendations which have lead to the successful implementation of quality management system as well as the certification under that standard.
