Engineering geological survey evaluation of area affected by lanslides in Budkovice
Prechtlová, Kateřina ; Paseka, Antonín (referee) ; Erbenová, Alexandra (advisor)
This Thesis deals with evaluation of engineer-geological survey of area affected by landslides near Budkovice. The area of interest is situated in the south part of Boskovická brázda on the left bank of the river Rokytná. The Thesis first outlines the problems of slope movements in general: why it’s appropriate to study them, what factors play role in their creation, what areas are prone to their creation, how to proceed with engineer-geological survey and how the slope stability is solved. Next itfocuses on the above mentioned landslide in village Budkovice. Geology and hydrogeology of the area of interest were studied. Carried out survey works were summarized. I became familiar with their results and outputs.Friction angle of the residual strength on the slip plane was calculated using Pettersson’s method, it’s value was 11,27°. Simple geological cuts though the slope area and calculation cut were made. Groundwater level was measured on the preserved drill holes and it was compared with former values.

Rate of accumulation of carbon into soil after disturbance
HELLEROVÁ, Šárka
I wrote this thesis with intention to use its obtained data in order to ask for a grant application. The main goal of this thesis is to quantify the amount of carbon in soil in different stages of soil development with accent on forests ecosystem. My thesis promotes the idea of better accumulation of carbon in early stages of soils development

Contribution to the changes and evaluation of vegetation on landslides and to the problematic of their phytoindication
Lacina, Jan
Relationships between landslides and vegetation cover were studied in Moravian part of Western Carpathian Mountains on selected plots which were affected by landslides evoked by extreme floods in July 1997. It was founded that landslides rises under various vegetation formation – forestal and non-forestal as well. Landslides change ecological conditions for vegetation markedly. A number of species are bounded to landslides, e.g. Equisetum telmateia, which is possible to identify like landslides guides, don’t like phytoindicators.

Programme „ISPROFIN“ No. 215120 „ Maintenance and prevention in areas threatened by unfavourable climatic phenomena“. Subprogramme 215124-1 Documentation and mapping...
Kirchner, Karel ; Roštínský, Pavel
The report, whose elaboration was the subject of a contract between the Czech Geological Survey and the Institute of Geonics CAS, compiles basic information on a space distribution and characteristics of slope deformations within Basic Map of the Czech Republic in a scale 1:10 000 sheets No. 25-43-01 and 25-43-02 (Zlínsko region) in a form of map and tabular outputs, supplemented with explanation text (comprises objective of works, applied methodology (after Rybář et al. 1999), general geographical, geological and geomorphological area characteristics, evaluation of outputs including hazardousness determination of every locality for human activity objects, conclusion and references).
