An algorithm of care about drowning people from the perspective of paramedics
BAKULE, Petr
This bachelor thesis which is titled An algorithm of care about drowning people from the perspective of paramedics deals with the procedure in prehospital emergency care about drowning people. The procedure of rescue is meant here as an initial technical rescue of a drowning person from the water and then follow-up medical care. At the beginning of the theoretical part there is the definition of drowning and the division of drowning and getting drowned. After that there is the slightly detailed description of the pathophysiology of drowning where the processes that occur in drowning are mapped. There is also mentioned the statistics of drowning and prevention of drowning. Furthermore the material and technical equipment for the rescue of a drowning with water rescue and emergency medical services are processed. This chapter outlines the basic utilities for needs of drowning person of water rescue and emergency medical services. The described equipment is briefly defined and there are highlighted some benefits of life-saving utilities. The last part of the theoretical work is in details. I dealt there with the algorithm of care about drowning people and there is properly shown the exact procedure of rescue of drowning person from the first noticing to the post-resuscitation treatment. The aim of this bachelor thesis was to map the process of pre-hospital care of emergency medical services and water rescue from drowning and map material and technical equipment of water rescue and emergency medical services. In the research part of the thesis was used qualitative method of interviewing with prepared questions. Interviews were given by respondents from the Czech Red Cross Water Rescue Service and Emergency Medical Services from the South Bohemia. Questions were especially about the procedure of rescue of drowning person and about the equipment for rescue from drowning. Both the above-mentioned objectives of the work were done. The result is the exact procedure of pre-hospital emergency care from drowning with water rescue and emergency medical services. Then I maped material and technical equipment of water rescue and emergency medical services for needs of drowning person. This work includes two different views on the process of pre-hospital emergency care in the condition of drowning. It turned out that both rescue IRS coincides in certain procedures or in usable equipment. There were also distinct variances in procedure of rescue and the usage for the rescue of drowning people. The interviews also created recommendations for extension of the material and technical equipment for the rescue of drowning person.

Vosecký, Ondřej ; Chlapek, Dušan (advisor) ; Hemala, David (referee)
This diploma thesis is focused on optimizing administration management in the Czech telecommunication office. The thesis has three essential objectives. The first objective is the analysis of present state of the administration management using the process modelling. The second objective is to identify the real potential for improvements of the process group. That means to specify process priority, estimate current and desired levels of process maturity, identify key activities and determine the level of process description and processing framing tables. These activities are supported by the methodically theoretical text at the first part of the thesis. The evaluation of limits determining potential improvements resulted from previous chapters and is contained in the final part of this thesis. The fundamental objective of this work is to design the optimization of the process group using the form of future projects.

Application of atomic law into a practice of radiology assistant
VOJTKOVÁ, Magdalena
The work of radiologist assistants results from the Act No.13/2002 Coll., Atomic Act, and from executive regulations and must accord with their wording. Practical application of the Act is important especially for radiation protection of patients and medical staff during work with ionizing radiation. The aim of the thesis was to judge from this point of view the radiologist´s activity at my work place in Institution of Imaging Methods in a Teaching Hospital of Saint Anna, Brno. Keeping of legislative rules would confirm their practical applicability and would establish the competency extent of radiologist assistant during performance of his/ her medical job. In methodological process I chose from the text of Atomic Act and from appropriate decrees the parts dealing with radiologist assistant´s activities in a sphere of radiodiagnostics and compared them with their practical keeping. I think, according to results, that radiologist´s work corresponds wording in§7 Radiologist assistant from decree No.424/2004 Coll. Radiologist assistant keeps rules of practical carrying out all treatments stated in §60 Statement on medical irradiation, in§62 Optimalization of radiation protection and in §63 Process of medical irradiation from decree No. 307/202 Coll. Thanks to this thesis I have deepened my knowledge dealing with Atomic Act. My conclusions can serve to radiologist assistants as a basic survey of important rules resulting from Atomic Act that they must keep in accord with these rules.

Biochemical methods as tool for study of reproductive proteins
Postlerová, Pavla ; Zigo, Michal ; Pohlová, Alžběta ; Jonáková, Věra
Study of molecular mechanisms in reproduction is essential for the understanding of this outstanding process. Our lab studies proteins secreted by reproductive organs and sperm using various biochemical methods for a long time. We have expertise in protein extraction from spermatic cells using different approaches, and by kits for proteins from the sperm surface and distinct subcellular compartments. The proteins of reproductive organ fluids are separated by chromatographic methods, such as size exclusion chromatography, high-performance liquid chromatography with reverse phase (RP-HPLC) and affinity chromatography on matrices with various ligands. Proteins are subjected to SDS- or 2D-electrophoresis for their characterization and comparison of various extraction methods, different mammalian species, and sperm in different functional development. Electrophoretically separated proteins may be transferred onto nitrocellulose membrane (Western blot) for antibody detection or binding studies with lectin-labelled ligands (lectins, polysaccharides, zona pellucida glycoproteins). We use immunoprecipitation method with specific antibody for protein determination followed by the MALDI identification. Proteins are localized by immunofluorescent techniques on/in spermatic cells and tissue sections of reproductive organs. Isolation of proteins from reproductive tissues and fluids, and the antibody detection is crucial for the studying of reproductive protein origin.

Methods of checking the observance of diagnostic reference levels in the field of radiodiagnostics
KROUPOVÁ, Helena
Methods of Checking the Observance of Diagnostic Reference Levels in the Field of Radio diagnostics Although there is a simultaneous development of diagnostic and therapeutic methods, perfection of instrumentation and means for personnel and patient protection, there is also an effort to reduce applied doses. In this way, medical irradiation caused by ionizing radiation used in medicine represents a significant contribution to the total dose of ionizing radiation that a person is exposed. Today the medical radiation in the Czech Republic comprises more than ninety per cent of radiation from an artificial source and approximately one ninth from the total population radiation. Evaluation of professional doctor radiation and X-ray devices attendance has been safeguarded within the personal dosimetry for many decades. However, systematic monitoring of doses related to medical radiation of the patient is a relatively new problem in the radiodiagnostics sphere. According to the Council directive 97/43/EUROATOM requirement, the SUJB has stated the so called ``diagnostic reference levels{\crqq} within enclosure number 9, Regulation No. 307/2002 Coll., about radiation protection. These ``diagnostic reference levels{\crqq} are dose levels within medical radiation and their exceeding is not expected at the 70 kg adult patient medical examination in the case of correct practice. The systematic exceeding of diagnostic reference levels under clinical practice conditions is the reason for reconsideration of radiation protection optimalization at a given workplace. In accordance with the proposal of the National Radiology Standards for Radiology Physics, the author team recommends the monitoring extension of the patient radiating load related to a particular medical radiation by specifying the local diagnostic reference levels, typical for a given type of workplace at a particular keeper, and their continuous verification within the clinical examination of the standard group of patients. Generally, the doses can be determined in two ways: by exposure parameter calculation or by product measure of area kerma, which is generally implemented by special devices, so called DAP meters. The aim of the work is the description of both methods, their comparison and the evaluation of the method effectiveness at various types of sciagrammatic workplaces.

Quasi-parallel optimizing of simulated systems by means of genetic algorithms
Konopa, Michal ; Neruda, Roman (referee) ; Kindler, Evžen (advisor)
This work goals are SIMULA classes to model experts sessions so that each expert has his own start ideas the optimal system's parameters. All the experts are simulating the system (each expert with his own parameters), but during the simulation they are mutually exchanging information about behavior of theirs models and - in accordance with this information - they are learning, changing their own system parameters. The learning process is performed by means of genetic algorithms. The resulting optimizer is tested on concrete examples, both from the mathematical theory and real practice (e.g. optimizing of a given project). This work reassumes the dissertation of RNDR. Jiří Weinberger. CSc., who made similar type of optimizer in the 80es, when nothing concrete was known on genetic algorithms and so the experts learning scheme was modeled by techniques, which had great success in solution of real problems afterwards; but nowadays it is worth to replace them by genetic algorithms, or at least to compare both methods. Genetic algorithms are successfully used in systems optimization, where the model run is algorithmic-managed, but never in the way of directly changing the models during their running times. Parallel run of multiple simulating models on the computer equipped with only one processor requires...
