Modification of Wing Geometry of RC Model with Respect to Flight Performance
Pejchar, Jan ; Šošovička, Róbert (referee) ; Kouřil, Martin (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis is focused on a modification of wing geometry discus launch glider category F3K. Wing geometry is solved from aerodynamic view with support modeller software and software using panel method. Basic aerodynamic characteristics and calculation of basic flying performance were performed. Thesis include discretion about performance’s possibilities study wings geometry.
Formula 1 Cars Evolution
Studeník, Juraj ; Porteš, Petr (referee) ; Ramík, Pavel (advisor)
This bachelor´s thesis is engaged in description of progress, research, manufacturing and testing components for F1 racing cars. These improvements causes technological progress which support driver´s safety and increases speed limits continually. Thanks to this F1 races are more and more balanced and attractive for viewers.
Basic construction principles of body vehicle aerodynamics
Oslizlo, Aleš ; Ambróz, Richard (referee) ; Laurinec, Marián (advisor)
In this thesis are explained basic construction principles of body vehicle aerodynamics, drag coefficient by circumfluence of vehicle, influence to pressures process and characteristics of boundary layer. Afterwards are shown basic aerodynamic shapes of body vehicle by personal, useful and racing cars.
Optimized Five Hole Probe
Skála, Vladislav ; Pick, P. ; Nožička, J.
This work deals with the design, construction and setting characteristics pětiotvorové probe to measure the direction and speed of air flow in the wind tunnel. The probe was optimized in the design. Set characteristics will be used in the evaluation of the speed measured by the probe.
Climatic wind tunnel for material and structures investigation
Král, Radomil ; Pospíšil, Stanislav
The paper deals with a description of the new climatic wind tunnel laboratory built in historical city Telcˇ. As a separate unit of the Institute of Theoretical and Applied mechanics of the Academy of Science of the Czech Republic, the tunnel will be used for fundamental research in engineering problems within civil engineering, architecture, heritage care and in other fields where wind effects appear along with further factors. The paper presents essential information about the interior layout of the tunnel together with description of advanced facilities serving for simulation of a strong wind, rain, freeze and solar heat radiation. Fundamental part of the paper is devoted to pressure losses determination. Using two different methods, the principal parts of the tunnel are designed taking into account both the optimal flow characteristics and flow resistance.
Aerodynamika špičkového řezu turbínové lopatky 1220mm
Synáč, J. ; Rudas, B. ; Šťastný, M. ; Luxa, Martin ; Šimurda, David ; Šafařík, Pavel
The paperis focused on aerodynamic characteristics of the tip section of a steam turbine last stage rotor blade with an active span 12200mm (48").
Measurement of the nonstationary flow fields around the vibrating profile with optical methods. Part II - Evaluation
Horáček, Jaromír ; Vlček, Václav
Report deals with the evaluation of the measurement of the nonstationary flow fields around the vibrating 18% double arch profile with the method of the synchronized interferometry. The profile had two degrees of freedom.
Aerodynamické chování patního řezu lopatky posledního stupně parní turbíny velikého výkonu při nenávrhových provozních režimech
Luxa, Martin ; Synáč, J. ; Šafařík, P. ; Šimurda, D.
The paper is concerned with results of high-speed aerodynamics research on blade cascade. The blade cascade represents root section of the last stage rotor blades of large output steam turbine. Basic aerodynamic charakteristics of the blade cascade are presented together with flow field photographs in range of transonic velocities. Results are analysed and discused.
Experimentally obtained values and their elaboration using SBRA-method
Pirner, Miroš
The article is aimed to inform about the knowledge accumulated in the field of dynamic experiments and identification of condition of concrete bridges, attention is primarily given to the method of Simulation Based Reliability Assessment (SBRA-method). The second part informs about application of this method in the field of aerodynamics of civil engineering structures.
Experimental research of unsteady aeroelastic phenomena by optical methods
Horáček, Jaromír ; Kozánek, Jan ; Luxa, Martin ; Vaněk, František ; Veselý, Jan ; Vlček, Václav
Optical experimental methods for visualization of unsteady flows in wind tunnel near vibrating bodies are developed. The methodology is applied on subsonic flow around an oscillating double circle profile with two degrees of freedom after loosing the aeroelastic stability.
