Interactive System for Presentation of Genealogical Data
Kakiš, Dávid ; Vídeňský, František (referee) ; Zbořil, František (advisor)
The thesis is aimed at the design and the creation of an application in order to provide an alternative for presenting genealogic data. The thesis documents the basic theoretical knowledge about genealogy, user interaction with a computer system and existing software solutions. As a result, a single-page web application was created using Laravel and AngularJS frameworks, including it's own way of storing data in MySQL. In practice, the application output should be able to provide a simple interface for comfortable use and presentation of family trees to a wide group of users
Web Application for Information Dashboard Design
Pastushenko, Olena ; Ismael, Mazen (referee) ; Hynek, Jiří (advisor)
Logic Game Based on Cellular Automaton
Škopková, Věra ; Trunda, Otakar (advisor) ; Chromý, Miloš (referee)
This thesis is concerned with the usage of cellular automata in development of a logic game. It describes benefits and drawbacks of individual types of cellular automata and its potential for being used in a logic game. It contains detailed description of the game rules and the user interface including the design process. The created game supports one-dimensional cellular automata containing from two up to ten states and is able to work with common and totalistic transition functions. The goal of the game is to uncover values of all cells that were generated by the cellular automaton, according to the rules of the transition function that are known to the user. It is possible to set game and visual parameters variedly. In addition, the game provides two tools for creating new cellular automata. The first is a visual editor, which allows the user to create new automata or correct the existing ones. The second is a generator that can deduce rules and values of the default generation of cells from which the specific picture can be generated.
Jobs scheduling in a volunteer organization
Žofák, Norbert ; Trunda, Otakar (advisor) ; Barták, Roman (referee)
The aim of the work is analysis and implementation of a tool, which will support a job scheduling for workers on the annual voluntary service which lasts for a week. The scheduling is done semiautomatically based on various criteria. Users of the tool are able to track a current state of the algorithm execution and influence it. The analysis of the chosen scheduling algorithms and their comparison on real data is also a part of the work. The tool can also be used as a register of worker, job, area and car properties. The emphasis is on the simplicity and intuitivity of the tool controlling and the data input.
User Interface Analysis
Říha, Roman ; Ježek, Pavel (advisor) ; Zavoral, Filip (referee)
Graphical user interfaces (GUIs) form an essential part of many nowadays applications and often provide the only way of controlling them. There are many different ways of how GUIs can be created. Their structure and appearance in individual applications also differ quite significantly. If users had a tool capable of generating machine-readable information about the structure of these GUIs and about the positions of their components, it would allow them to automate the GUI manipulation or to implement tools for GUI accessibility for visually impaired people. In this work, we managed to implement a very flexible tool that employs various combinable methods of a GUI analysis and also provides an interface for implementing new methods for the analysis. User Interface for Technology Control
Zapletal, Filip ; Beran, Vítězslav (referee) ; Zemčík, Pavel (advisor)
This paper describes systems and user interfaces for monitoring and supervisory control of technological equipment. It describes basic approaches used to solve this problem, commonly used communication protocols and existing user interfaces. Based on those findings are defined requirements for design of a modern user interface for technology supervision and control, particularly in the area of clean and waste water distribution systems. The thesis concludes with a description of a user interface based on defined requirements and finally compares them with existing systems.
Creation of a User Interface of a Mobile Controller for Interactive Screens
Nová, Jana ; Novotný, Ota (advisor) ; Daněk, Lukáš (referee)
The aim of this thesis is to create a responsive front-end part of the mobile controller for applications on the interactive screens using modern frontend technologies. The theoretical chapters introduce to the readers the basic principles of accessibility and usability, including testing tools, which can be used for checking these principles. The aim of the practical part is to create a concise guide of front-end modern tools and technologies such as front-end frameworks, CSS preprocessors and tools for automating tasks on the front-end. In the practical part are these described tools and technologies used to create a mobile controller.
Web Applications on the Node.js Platform
Červený, Pavel ; Rychlý, Marek (referee) ; Burget, Radek (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis deals with a design of a Node.js platform web application, using additional tools and technologies, which are used in this kind of development. The main aim of this application is to create a prototype of an educational application, which is going to be used for learning basics of Javascript language. This thesis is divided into several sections. Firstly it describes the technologies which are used to create this application, then a theory for executing source code in web application, design of the application itself, implementation and testing.
Tool for Informal Specification for Mobile Devices
Rzyman, Daniel ; Szőke, Igor (referee) ; Beran, Vítězslav (advisor)
This thesis aims to design an effective solution of supportive tool in field of the informal specification. Solution is based on the application for mobile devices with touch screens, Apple iPad. Design of the final product is supported by many studies, in particular those analyzing field of the informal specification, technical features, user interfaces, implementation methods and user experience testing. Thesis defines functional requirements for application development accompanied by design and the implementation of three different graphical user interfaces. Important in this thesis is the evaluation of the user experience testing, which defines future development.
CAD v elektronové optice
Lencová, Bohumila
Invited talk on 8th Multinational congress on microscopy in the session Electron optics and optical elements. It discusses the themes of reduced interest in papers from electron optics on microscopy conferences and the progress in computational programs (such as EOD from ISI AS CR), in particular in accurate electron ray tracing in electromagnetic fields and in user interfaces.
