Life and compositions of Josef Matthias Wolfram - especialy the opera Bergmönch

The aim of this Thesis is to introduce Josef Wolfram, a composer and a former mayor of town of Teplice. Wolfram's life and works are presented using period resources. Special emphasis is laid on the analysis of the form and content of the opera Bergmönch. Wolfram's musical style is described using selected parts of this opera. The Thesis concludes by a description of Wolfram's legacy and efforts of raising awareness of his story.
Hanuš Bartonň as a composer, pianist, and academic music educator

The author of this thesis endeavours to create a comprehensive portrait of Hanuš Bartoň, a Czech contemporary composer, pianist, and academic educator. The thesis is focused on his compositions and his contribution as a pianist and a teacher with the aim to establish a practical source of information. This source ought to fulfil both its musicological potential, especially concerning the analysis of Czech classical music of the end of the 20th century up till now, as well as its potential in the field of education, noting Bartoň's works for children and his academic pedagogical contribution. The thesis is systematically organised into several parts. The main body starts with the composer's biography. The attention then moves to his compositions, which are systematically presented and commented on from the perspective of Bartoň's musical style development and its tendencies. His works adhere to the postmodern ideal considering the fact that the music deals in a specific way with the synthesis of stylistic elements. The scope of his oeuvre is relatively wide. It mostly encompasses instrumental pieces, although there are many others including, for example, musical-dramatic works, vocal pieces, electroacoustic music, and music for the theatre. Jaroslav Kofroň and his legacy

1 Abstract The author of this work pays attention to Czech musical personality Jaroslav Kofroň who is known primarily as an educator and author of pedagogical literature: The textbook of harmony; The textbook of rhythm and intonation. The main objective is to bring the essential information about the artist's compositional activity that is not known, although it is very rich and deserves more attention. According to the information the works are identified with the year of their implementation and available materials that are stored in libraries or on the website. The partial aim is a comprehensive and acquaints the public with the whole range of Kofroň personality that we perceive as a performer, a conductor, a choirmaster and a painter. Main chapter provides an overview of the composer's instrumental formation that includes the creation of orchestral, brass, chamber music, solo concerts. A huge attention is focused on the creation of the song, which contains over 600 songs, edited or composed both for solo singing voices and choirs: male, female, children's and mixed. Design and Creation of a New E-commerce Platform

The thesis focuses on developing prototype of e-commerce platform. This platform will be used as a base for a full-fledged e-commerce solution of specific trader in the future. The thesis deals with the analysis of the current state, analysis of available solutions, description of selected technologies, including a description of how these technologies were specifically implemented in the project. The result of this thesis is a functional prototype of e-commerce platform.
Emmy Destinn as a writer and composer

Emmy Destinn was the most famous Czech operatic soprano, who achieved fame in the whole west world. Not only did she engage in singing but also in writing and composing. Several pieces of work came out during her lifetime. This thesis deals with the output of the writer and composer Emmy Destinny with a brief description of her life at the beginning. A collection of poems called Sturm und Ruhe was published in German in 1902. Five years later another collection Der galante Abbé also in German followed. Only the first collection of poems is analysed in this thesis. Emmy Destinn also wrote several plays: Pod praporem umění, Dvojí hřích, Rahel, Tůně, U Cíle, Kruh měsíců a Nadarmo. For the lack of literature the plays are described only generally. During her engagement in the Berlin State Opera she was trying to finish a novel Pan doktor Casanova, which, however, ended as two unfinished versions of a description of life in the State Opera. Her most crucial work is the chronicle novel Ve stínu modré růže with a subtitle Román zašlých vášní, in which she is describing the Leonhardi dynasty, which owned the castle in a town Stráž nad Nežárkou. Ivan Kurz as a contributing composer and academic music educator

The author of this thesis endeavours to elaborate a comprehensive portrait of Ivan Kurz, a contemporary composer and academic educator. The thesis is primarily focused on his composition works and his pedagogical contribution with the aim to establish a practical source of information helping musicologists and teachers in the analysis of Czech contemporary music. In addition, it emphasises the remarkable role of Ivan Kurz in the Czech contemporary music scene. In the introductory part of the main body, the work is concerned with the biography of Ivan Kurz and then the work's attention subsequently moves to his composition works. His works, which aesthetically go along with the postmodern ideal of musical expressive elements synthesis, are primarily of spiritually and philosophically themed music. The scope of his compositions is relatively wide. It includes, for example, symphonies, orchestral works, choir works, cantatas, oratorios, chamber music, sonatas, melodrama, etc. These individual composition works and their concert performances are briefly described. If available, sheet music or audio materials and recordings are mentioned as well. Life, Work and Contribution of Dr. Stanislav Šidlák.

The following bachelor thesis deals with the person and work of the cantor, director of elementary school, choirmaster, composer, pianist, and conductor PaedDr. Stanislav Šidlák (1904-1987), whose life is inherently connected with regions Trutnov, Úpice, and Malé Svatoňovice. This personality has become an important cultural promoter in the region of Northeastern Bohemia, specifically Sudet. He developed cultural events in the aforementioned location. He founded and led many choirs (e.g. the Vítězslav Novák choir), as well as vocal chamber groups, one of which was the internationally successful Dívčí pěvecké trio. He also acted as a conductor of the Strážkovická hornická hudba (a group typical of that region). For his ensembles, he edited a number of folk songs for various musical groups. As a composer he is the author of suites, cantatas, several vocal works for men's and mixed choirs, and an operetta (popular during that time) on the motifs of Božena Němcová's Pantáta Hájek. He not only led his ensembles but also actively participated as a regular member (e.g. Pěvecký sbor českých učitelů). He was also a sought-after tenor. This thesis aims to time management. The goal is to design and implement web application for simpler and easy-to-use managing of personal time. For this, the application uses calendars, To-Do lists, dividing of bigger task into subtasks or analyzing of spent time. The PHP framework named Symfony was used for implementation of the application with use of object-relation mapping, that is provided by the PHP library Doctrine and uses MySQL database. The CSS and JavaScript technologies were used for better graphical design and dynamism of work with application.
