The Analysis of the Possibilities of Using Heat Energy for Water Heating, Space Heating and Air Conditioning in the Domestic Sector
Almabrok, Almabrok Abdoalhade ; Dvorský, Emil (referee) ; Santarius, Pavel (referee) ; Toman, Petr (advisor)
Rostoucí světová poptávka po méně efektivních zdrojích energie vede ke zvýšení zájmu o kogenerační technologie v sektoru domácností. Pomocí této technologie lze významně snižovat množství znečišťujících látek emitovaných při výrobě elektřiny a tepla pro domácnosti. Kogenerační systémy v sektoru domácností nabízí možnost produkce jak užitného tepla a elektřiny z jednoho zdroje paliva, např. motorové nafty či zemního plynu.
Design and optimization of the control valve for EHRS exchanger
Rada, Jakub ; Svída, David (referee) ; Beran, Martin (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the design and optimization of the control valve for EHRS exchanger. The first part of the thesis contains a research describing the historical development of internal combustion engines, their impact on the environment and especially the possible ways of waste heat recovery. The second part focuses on the design of the control valve and experimental measurement to verify its functionality. The final part contains an analysis of pressure losses of the designed valve to improve its construction disadvantages.
Ventilation and heating in a single family house
Sláčík, Ondřej ; Lízal, František (referee) ; Charvát, Pavel (advisor)
This master’s thesis deals with the design of the ventilation and heating system in low-energy single family house. The thesis is divided into three parts. The first part of the thesis provides an overview of the project together with the requirements of the house owner. The options for heating and ventilation in low-energy buildings are also discussed in this part. The second part deals with the design of the ventilation system with heat recovery. The design includes determination of the amount of ventilation air, selection of a suitable ventilation unit and the design of the supply air and return air ductworks. The last part focuses on the heating system. It includes the calculations of the heat loss of the house and design of floor heating. Furthermore, the selection of heat source together with the safety measures is described in this part. Both design parts include the bills of materials, along with the budget and the drawings.
Heat recovery Steam generator-HRSG two presurre levels,131kg/s flue gas ,558°C
Kolarčík, Vojtěch ; Kohout, Přemysl (referee) ; Skála, Zdeněk (advisor)
This master‘s thesis describes thermal calculation and design of proportions of calorific components of a heat recovery steam generator (HRSG) for given input parameters of flue gas and output parameters of steam. Part of the thesis is design proportions of boiler drums, irrigation and transfer pipes. On the end of the thesis is counting draught losses and design drawning of steam generator.
Parametric Study of Air Heat Exchanger
Podola, David ; Volavý, Jaroslav (referee) ; Fišer, Jan (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the impact of changes in operating and geometrical parameters of regenerative heat exchanger on the efficiency of decentralized ventilation units with heat recovery. Decentralized ventilation unit can be used for ventilation of family houses or smaller administration buildings. Output of this work is to determine the efficiency of a particular produced model of decentralized ventilation unit and overview of the possibilities increased efficiency of heat recovery of this units.
Water to water heat pump design
Jašek, František ; Formánek, Marian (referee) ; Hejčík, Jiří (advisor)
First part of my diploma thesis contains theoretical description of compressor based heat pumps, refrigeration cycle, main components of refrigeration cycle and auxiliary equipment. Second part contains the heat pump WATER-WATER desing. It will be used for heat recovery from cogeneration units in heating plants.
Heat recovery Steam generator-HRSG two presurre levels,121,3kg/s flue gas ,456 C.
Maar, Tomáš ; heinze, Bedřich (referee) ; Skála, Zdeněk (advisor)
This thesis deals with a heat recovery steam generator for gas turbine. According to the given parameters of the flue and steam, thermal balance boiler was design and configuration of the heating surfaces. Furthermore, the parameters calculated in the thermal balance of the individual heat transfer surfaces designed and drawn in the drawing.
Design of a family house ventilation system
Hrbata, Jiří ; Zerzaňová, Alena (referee) ; Fišer, Jan (advisor)
Diploma thesis deals with design of the ventilation system for low-energy house. Introduction of the thesis is focused on ventilation needs and also includes a summary of main principals of ventilation systems which are commonly used in family houses. One chapter is dedicated to utilization of ground heat exchangers and also includes a CFD simulation. The actual design of the ventilation system for low-energy house assess the suitability of using local/central ventilation units and also determines the best method of controlling the system.
Substitution of a classic ground heat exchanger by a brine one in a family house with warm-air heating system
Sokola, Robert ; Kolbábek, Antonín (referee) ; Jaroš, Michal (advisor)
The thesis deals with an energy simulation of a ground heat exchanger (GHE) in classical and brine performance, which is used as an accessory of warm air heating system recovery in a low-energy family house. On basis of simulation results, the benefits of both heat exchangers were assessed. Furthermore, the energy and economics savings of heat recovery coupled with GHE were evaluated. Comparing the investment costs, the profitability of each investment were assessed and recommendations for the operation, implementation and appropriateness were outlined.
Energy simulation of ground heat exchanger influence to operation of warm-air heating recuperation unit
Kolbábek, Antonín ; Pešek, Martin (referee) ; Jaroš, Michal (advisor)
The thesis deals with energy simulation of a heat recovery system in coupling with a ground heat exchanger (GHE) in a low-energy family house with warm-air heating and ventilation. The effect of GHE on operation and effectiveness of a heat recovery unit was assessed from the results of the simulation. Next, energy and economic benefits of the heat recovery with and without GHE and consequent savings were evaluated as well. The profitability of the investment was assessed using comparison with the investment costs. Recommendations for the operation of the system were suggested.
