Design of all-terrain vehicle with electric drive
Kučera, Pavel ; Blaťák, Ondřej (referee) ; Porteš, Petr (advisor)
This master's thesis describes the design of All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV) with electric drive. The design is focused on the main parts of the ATV, which are designed with modern trends ATVs. Location of electric drive and batteries in the frame of the ATV is solved for the sport version of the ATV. Steering geometry is designed using the program Adams. For models of main components are created stress analysis in Ansys Workbench. The input is 3D model, which is created in Pro/Engineer. The braking system and wheels are designed for movement and braking of the terrain.
Design Study of Highway Electrical Passenger Car
Přikryl, Karel ; Blaťák, Ondřej (referee) ; Svída, David (advisor)
This thesis deals with design concept of the electric car. At first, vehicle dynamics was solved in program MathCad. The components were selected from the obtained results. This was followed by a proposal layout design and vehicles main dimensions design. The frame was created in program ProEngineer, and then imported into ANSYS. Simulation of torsional rigidity was made in ANSYS by FEM.
The rear axle of a small urban car
Fišer, Petr ; Prokeš, František (advisor)
This Master’s thesis is dedicated to innovative structural design of the supporting frame rear axle of a small urban utility vehicle. The frame allows you to change the wheel base by sliding rear axle so the car can be used in its short or long version. The main part begins with description of the design solutions and continues with selection of a solution and description of its main parts. The work is finished by description of the current state of production and a list of expected expenses.
Freight Elevator
Málek, Ondřej ; Kozok, Zbigněv (referee) ; Škopán, Miroslav (advisor)
This diploma thesis is dealing with rebuilding of a lift with load 1000 kg into lift with load 1500 kg. This thesis is mainly intent on dimensioning of propulsion and choosing of traction means. The frame cage of a lift is counted by MKP analysis.
Automotive Electric Motors Innovation
Šimko, František ; Vítek, Ondřej (referee) ; Hájek, Vítězslav (advisor)
The purpose of this project is to explain the construction of motors in car technology. We can acquaint more with the construction of a DC electric motor. Then we will deal more with electric motor starters, an innovation of a DC electric motor or with its replacing for AC electric motor with other poles.
Electric and Hybrid Vehicles
Kosík, Jaroslav ; Mikulčík, Aleš (referee) ; Hájek, Vítězslav (advisor)
This bachelor`s thesis is specialized on obtaining basic piece of electric and hybrid vehicles and their development. The first part of the work deals with electrical vehicles, their history and the possible development of these vehicles can take. In the next section is an example use of electric vehicles in the practical traffic. It is stated these vehicles compared with vehicles using the type of propulsion, such as cars with combustion engines or hybrid vehicles. At the end of chapter is supplemented by specific examples of photographic electrical vehicles. The third part of the work deals with the expected development of electric and hybrid vehicles. There is also a description of hybrid vehicles, and their comparisions with other vehicles using the drive as well as other examples of hybrid vehicles.
Design of Generalized Powertrain Model
Borkovec, Tomáš ; Kenyeres, Martin (referee) ; Škorpil, Vladislav (advisor)
In this work is proposed the generalized powertrain of the parallel hybrid car. The powertrain is composed from the sub-models of the power sources. Each sub-model is described by the quasi-static modeling. For given routes is computed the power demand. Based on the derived power demand, three energy management systems are tested. First system is based on heuristic rules. The second one use more sophisticated control algorithms - the optimization method. Main idea is based on minimum principle, when the control algorithm tries to minimize the cost function (fuel use, emission). The last one is based on the equivalent consumption minimization strategy.
Single-Phase Induction Motor Calculation
Ševčík, Pavel ; Vítek, Ondřej (referee) ; Hájek, Vítězslav (advisor)
This master's thesis considers by single-phase asynchronous motor. The first part discuss about construction, principle of operation and basic parameters of this motor type. It also discussed the emergence of torque and torque characteristics of the different types of engines. The second part explains the basic ways of obtaining grip moment including outline the principles of functions particulars constructions types, which is produce in practice. In the third part is minutely analyse single-phase asynchronous motor with auxiliary phase and permanently conect capacitor, including method of assign size of a capacitor. Fourth part section provides the principles of the procedure for calculating basic parameters of the single asynchronous motor with auxiliary phase. At the last part is accomplished a calculation of single-phase asynchronous motor with permanently conect capacitor at auxiliary phase including comparation with already manufacturing motor.
Kinetic energy recuperation systems
Hapala, Miroslav ; Porteš, Petr (referee) ; Zháňal, Lubor (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with kinetic energy recuperation systems (KERS), which is obtained by braking, in cars and sports cars. In the first section describes the different types of systems, their function and the accumulation of energy. In the second part are some examples of use in passenger transport and in motor racing. In the conclusion are summarized their advantages and disadvantages and their contribution to the future ecology of automotive traffic.
Modern hybrid drive of passenger vehicles
Švoma, Jan ; Blaťák, Ondřej (referee) ; Vančura, Jan (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the current hybrid-drives in passenger cars. The thesis contains the categorization of hybrid systems according to structure and use. It also discusses the analysis of individual components and describes their suitability for use in different situations. It is focused on current offering of hybrid vehicles and development opportunities. At the end of are evaluated economic aspects and prospects for the use of these systems in the future.
